carzola: As a devoted and strong Catholic I pray for his soul to rest in peace And I pray for his soul to be Accepted in heaven.
Now lemme say the truth why Will a rev father who is trained Like a monk hold on to material Things
You see a Catholic priest is not permitted To own anything
All this diluted rev fathers Have brought down the image Of a great church if not the greatest church in Existence If you have ñothing to say, it's better you don't say anything at all. Priests go on a lot of missionary works and visits. You don't expect them to trek to those places, do you? Or you expect them to enter public buses where the level of robbers might even be high? You are no Catholic please. |

Osho, I actually agree with you. I've been hammering on this.
I'll say what our youths need is empowerment. All youths in Nigeria can't be politicians. There are those who have other dreams and aspirations.
So empower them, let they have something they'd be doing. And making money too.. so those that want to run for a political position can have enough finance for it.
I'm not against the NTYTR idea, but first things first.
There are many youths our there with great plans for this our beautiful country, but they can't do anything about it, because they can't be heard. They don't know anybody that knows somebody.. These are all problems that must be tackled. |

That's one thing I can never do in my life. Ever since I left Nigeria, I've forgotten anything called inheritance and have moved on with my life. Lol you really dunno what it's like not having a root. You left your family in Nigeria, you know your parents, grand parents, great grand parents and so on. You know your root, so you can't be bothered, even if you stay there forever. On the other hand, these people are just too excited to know where they actually came from, where they belong. It's a beautiful thing. |

ayusco85: THINK NEW
"-Thirteen Boeing 747 cargo planes come to Nigeria daily. Offloading cargo then fly back EMPTY. - Five out of every six ships that berths in Nigeria return to their base EMPTY. - Over 180 million people eating, sleeping and contributing NOTHING to the world." --Smith Gibby
Nigeria produces next to nothing ... Most of the people are unfruitful ... Mediocrity has become a culture ... All the fingers are scooping the honey from Niger Delta. What is the problem? LEADERSHIP!
Men that misruled the country in their 30's and 40's demand the right to continue ruling in their 70's and 80's. They are spent, destitute of ideas, lacking in innovation, yet they insist they must continue to rule.
Over the years, they bastardized the national psyche, corrupted the values, divided the people, destroyed the national self esteem, turned Nigeria into the mockery amongst nations, yet they insist they must continue to rule. The result of their misrule are plain for all to see: The adults have no today, The children have no tomorrow.
They are gathering again, like insatiable scavengers, determined to pick the malnourished flesh from the sun scorched bones of Nigerians. The pitiless and self serving groups of bandits are visible again ... gathering on the horizon.
They should be resisted; they should be replaced. THINK NEW
Fresh eagles are rising over the landscape but the vultures will not give them room to fly. *Barr. Ebaye Ntan from the South South *Obadiah Mai Lafia from Middle Belt *Kingsley Moghalu from the East *Datti Ahmed from the North *Esosa Ize-Iyamu from South South *Kriz David from South South *Funmi Adesanya-Davies from the West *Fela Durotoye from the West *Omoyele Sowore from Diaspora And many, many more ... Fresh options; new generation The people have to insist:
New Leaders New Faces New People New Political Parties New Methods New Policies New Nation New Nigeria NEW BRAND ... BRAND NEW
THINK NEW! THINK NEW!! Trumpet it from the ocean to the desert; from the rising of the sun to the setting of it. Let it reverberate from the hills to the valleys. NEW, NEW, NEW, Sweep away the old and let the NEW thrive.
THINK NEW! Citizens: demand a New Nation; it is your right.
Nigerians, THINK NEW!!! Beautiful!! |

Unity19: I love your thought. All you need to do is to pursue your dream, be diligent and passionate about what you do. You may not be as wealthy as she is or as famous as she is but i can tell you that you will be fulfilled. Don't forget we all work on different speed, timeline and road.
If you make your passion your profession, work will be like play. Thanks Yea thank you very much. I have a blog. More like a story blog, you know writing stories is my passion. I want to start with blogging first, hopefully it'll be a success, although I've got a lot of discouragement so far, but I want to keep pursuing it. Cuz I really like writing stories, it's like my favourite thing in this whole world. |
