well i'll give my best friend the keys and seat behind with my girlfriend

I have this friend who likes me a lot,he wanted to go out with me. we realy blended together but at a time,there was a short seperation due to work,say one month and when we came back together he already had a girlfriend. I still hung around hoping for the best but his girlfriend,really loved him . He said he was willing to break it off with her and i said i wont be a party to that. Few months towards the end of the year, he got another girlfriend and i told him that in this new year if he didnt define the relationship i was going to leave.Along the line,i started getting close to his cool friend. To cut a long story short,we are dating. Initially he said he was okay with it but now he has resevations. He's been confessing his love to me frequently,sends me text messages,calls me and he thinks i don't love his friend, i'm only trying to get back at him. Honestly i freaking love the friend cause he trusts me so much i begin to wonder y. I've tried talking to the first guy and he said he's willing to make everything serious now between us. But i prefer to stay with the second guy as i do love him, what will u do if you were in my shoes.

thanks for your analysis, u may be quite right there,
its just difficult to lose a friend to someone elsa regardless of how not intimate you are.
i just know that we may never be that close again even though i might not have hooked up with him in the end
about being a nice guy, no hard feelings but time always tells
