I dont know if this is coming late.I remember that Clarins has a spa house somewhere on the island-akin adesola or thereabouts, owned by alali hart.its very nice and the ambience is good too.

Thank God for nairaland.
I recently applied for pilot training at bristow and i am getting fed up of waiting.i was just saying to a friend of mine that i wish i know whether or not they(bristow) have done the selection process and then i decided to search for bristow on nairaland and i see about 3different threads on flying.i can hardly believe my eyes and my luck.
I have read through the comments here and would like to thank everyone who has contributed,it has been comforting to me.
I noticed that RDV mentioned Jide Adebayo-i happen to know his sister in law and if you are with bristow you may also know captain Oni.

i have been interested in flying for about 6years now .where havent i gone or written to ;i went to zaria,went to my local government for sponsorship,wrote to 43 air,wrote to embry riddle,wrote to another one in australia-basair,went to bellview,tried maersk air and then when i wanted to apply to bristow they were only interested in pilots with a PPL.

at that point, after trying really hard i gave up and got a regular job with hopes that i would save for a PPL-story.it was still too expensive.
i applied again recently to bristow and God i am so anxious.it feels like my last hope.if i don't get taken i'll just go and do one of those one hour helicopter jolly rides that claim to add to flight hours-i am consoling myself eii.

i am trying to keep hope alive,i am just tired.RDV,pilot77 etc if you work in bristow can u please confirm if candidates have already been chosen for the test-that would really help my state of mind.

I wear the same clothes for 5years and people cannot comprehend it,they just say i am stingy, for me if the clothes are in excellent condition, why not
.I calculate the price of items by the ml when we go shopping etc.In fact when my husband and i go shopping, i am always like this is good business if we have a market for it .
My first gold was also my wedding band and subsequent other pricey gifts have been from my husband 9which i would never buy for myself) .
but i guess i am better than before as i tend to give more now.
I dont think people like us are strange,its just different strokes for different folks.

why dont try freighting it.there are some freight companies that do just that.femade is one of them.oceanic freight is another.diamond and net cargo also.
i have used net cargo and oceanic freight severally.

i was in dubai on vacation in december and i was not impressed.Everything is soooo expensive and there was absolutely no use buying anything there.The gold is also very expensive,in fact i was most dissapointed at that because i didnt buy one piece of jewellery.The residents(not indigenes) there complain bitterly about the cost of living.
it was nice going on the dessert safri and all that, but i was not really impressed.so we share the same views
