Yes I have, I think it was around 2019, I was supposed to transfer to my friend account because he was to bail his car, 150k, I tried using my app but the stupid app was misbehaving, I hurriedly drove to the nearest ATM, I wrongly put the last number without checking the names because the machine didn’t display receiver name, I think I used the wrong section for transfer. Long story short we discovered after 2 days, I went to the bank to make complaints, bank manager ask me to go take police and court report before they can check if the money is still in the receiver’s account. Luckily after some discussion with the bank manager he called the receiver, a lady in port harcourt. Good people are still in Nigeria, the money was still intact and she said she’s waiting for the sender to call and return the money. God bless her wherever she is now

Trading at 1x leverage is like trading spot, and there is no liquidation at 1x leverage or spot.

You can however have losses if the trade doesn't go your way which is why some people put SL so they can cut losses early and enter another trade. With proper R:R (1:3 or greater) you can come out in overall profit if you win more trades than you lose because your wins are bigger than your losses.

If you have $1000 and you buy btc with it on spot, it's the same as buying btc with it at 1x leverage on futures. In some rare cases, you might need to account for funding fees but you can hold that position at 1x for years without risk of liquidation, just like spot.

If you now decide that you do not want to trade with all your $1000 on 1 coin, you can use 2% of it at 50x leverage ($20*50x = $1000) to get the same $1000 position size. The remaining $980 serves as extra margin/collateral and as long as your debt is not greater than your collateral, you will not be liquidated.

However, if you decide to open more than 1 position with 2% of your capital each at 50x leverage, your effective leverage will no longer be 1x .

If all the positions you open do not use more than 2% of your capital jointly at 50x, your effective leverage remains 1x.

If you want to know the actual leverage you are trading on regardless of what you set, keep an eye on your risk %

In the pictures below, you can see that I'm actually trading at less than 5.2x effective leverage, no matter what leverage I select for that pair (5x or 25x).

My position size (debt/collateral ratio) determines my effective leverage (5.14-5.17x) not the leverage I choose (5x or 25x).

Got your explanation clearly, I thought you were using isolated margin. However it doesn’t erase the possibility of liquidation totally , it only helps to minimise it. Thanks for the explanation

2% of your capital at 50x leverage = 100% of your capital at 1x leverage.

Is like I’m missing the meaning of liquidation, somebody please explain to me how I can never be liquidated if I trade with 2% of my capital at 50x, even 5x can be liquidated.
The 2% you use to trade, explain how it can never be liquidated, maybe I might start using the strategy.

You can never be liquidated if you use 2% of your capital at 50x leverage or 1% at 100x leverage.

Don’t say never, 50x is a high risk trade, even if you use 1$ in trading it, the risk is much.
If you are using 2% of your capital in trading that means you are not confident of your strategy and you are more of gambling.
I trade futures no more than 5x, and I use 80% of my capital because I trust my strategy and the risk is lesser , rosy management is key. Over leverage is like taking alcohol and driving on speed above 200km/hr

I said trading 1-2% of your account.1% of $1k account is $10 and 2% of $1k $20 and I said opening future trade with $20 with high leverage on one-two percent gave rest of mind.

For example on my below screenshot with +618 percent profit I open it with$20 and I set stop loss to lose $9 if the trade go wrong inside$20 cuz I have no control over market and loss is bound to happen.when the trade get to +100 I close half move my stop to entry leaving$10 to run on the trade.when it get to +600.i close with+$60 profit.that +$70 on one trade.it depend on setup I get if it's look good I commit just 2-3% and if it looks like gamble I commit 1%.

I’m in a dilemma and need your advice
There’s this friend of mine who out of the blue contacted me last year October asking for a favor to come stay at my place a couple of days since she had an interview in Abuja. I allowed in her without hesitation since I thought it was just going to be a few days. Fortunately, she got the job.

When she got the job in October, she asked me to pls allow her stay for two months before getting her place. My people, it’s been five months already and she’s still not making any moves to get her own place.

The problem really is I am currently jobless. She doesn’t contribute anything to the house. I am responsible for our feeding, gas, electricity, everything! And I do not have money. The little money I have is from my generous elder sister who has been my helper since I lost my job. Weekends she sleeps all through while I clean the house. I also do all the cooking. She doesn’t cook.

I am a light sleeper so I get up at any slight movement. This lady gets up between 3 to 4 times every night to use the restroom thus keeping me awake all through the night. This really has a toll on me. During the day she goes to the restroom between 14 to 16 times. She doesn’t contribute to buy foodstuff but she eats 4 times a day

What have I gotten myself into. Please how do I politely ask her to leave without hurting her feelings and savaging the relationship I use to have with her. I am tired, depressed and jobless!

You’re pleasing her and displeasing yourself, I’ve done that and I will tell you with all assurances it won’t end well even if you decided not to tell her to leave now.
I have learnt my lesson not to displease myself by pleasing others.
People hate the truth but you have to bold up and tell her to leave, tell her you can’t accommodate her any longer, give her a time frame to leave. Forget the saying nobody knows tomorrow, na quote to exploit people.
