How about people without prepaid or even post paid meters? In Makurdi, they are in the majority and estimated billing is killing them.
Nice concept, but
(1). I can't trust Fashola to do a good job awarding contracts out. He seem to have a thing for inflated contracts and won't survive the power sector reform demands like that.
(2) the prepaid metres are being hoarded by PHCN staff to allow the milk users via estimated billing. It is wrong for Fashola to embark on any tarrif increase without addressing this issue.
(3) what is our max transmission capacity? If not we just wishing a star.

Politics › Re: N500bn Social Welfare: 1million Poor Nigerians To Get N5,000 Directly–Presidency by Sibrah: 11:51am On Feb 08, 2016
A father Christmas approach isn't the best. Osun state towed a similar path and is struggling to keep it up. Why waste N500B on a scheme where 80%(N400B) of that money will end up in stomach or foreign land.
If, for example, that money is injected in construction of houses alone,
(1) it can bring a long lasting solution to a problem - housing,
(2) it will employ Nigerians and ultimately pass some N400B ( 80% ) to them as earnings,
(3) it will help check initial capital flight situation whereby the money paid directly to people will come to them as easy money and almost certainly be spent on foreign goods whereas workers earning it will most likely use it for locally produced goods like food and shelter. The Buhari team should avoid the temptation to appeal enmass to some section of the population and aim for project that is mutually appealing to the masses and our economic predicament.

Scam system. CBN tells us it should be 9% PA but the owners of the money says it is 24-30% PA. They take advantage of poor infrastructures like power, road,CSR to inflate running cost of their banks and in turn justify their huge interest. Who do you blame if not the ineffectual system and past leader who refuse to improve the system.

Atheism.

Well, the praise worship part of church is nice because it can help you to lose weight and build your physical stamina. It's like dancing at a club.
Praise and dance we see is the physical part of a spiritual exercise, doing it with wrong motive is one of the many hindrances that make it ineffective. In the absence of results it becomes a form of exercise.

Seriously we need to change our mindset and realize that we all have to be part of the change we seek.
I understand I am part of the change process but the top(presidency and close associate)is so vital and we have been missing it for long in that area. We only need 20% of the population to be inspired for there to be revolution in economic fortune.

As good as the post is, it never address the issue of workers salary. Is it that the governement is unresponsive or irresponsible? No amount of preaching will motivate a an hungry man. Only a loaf of bread can. So therefore, mr Aregbe should pay salary and leave development for another time. Shikena!!!
The purpose of state fund isn't to pay workers salary. If the workers effort contributes to the source of their salary, then fine, but we all know the situation on ground. The govt of state of Osun too isn't doing enough to break away from this pattern of dependence of FG allocation. State of Osun, shouldn't be talking about how to continue feeding people and paying idle hands. Whatever it has should be used to build more garment factories, start mass scale farming, industrialize etc so that the people can be engaged in productive ventures. I expect the govt to be brainstorming on how to help corn farmer increase & maintain output and complement coventional corn uses with modern ones like cornflakes, starch, noodles. Goverment in thriving economies play big brother in expertise and support and not father Christmas. Osun has learnt nothing under Aregbesola and APC.
Politics › Re: Will EFCC Harass Google To Refund Money Spent On TAN Adverts? by Sibrah: 8:25pm On Feb 06, 2016
Orikinla:
EFCC should arrest the Ogas at the Top. It is crooked to arrest executives of the NNPC for corruption and turn around to say there is no evidence to probe the former Ministers of Petroleum and Finance when the former Governor of the Central Bank already confirmed the misappropriations of billions of dollars at the NNPC. WHO IS FOOLING WHOM?
The fact that Diezeani subordinates are implicated does not mean she is. The case of Dasuki and Jonathan is a good example, Dasuki say Jonathan said but he has no proofs Jonathan said anything regards transfer of government money to private organisation owned by his party associates. In the case of Stella Odua where she told her subordinate to "do the needful" too it will be near impossible to nail her in court. It is very possible to Dizeani did same to her subordinates.
Politics › Re: Will EFCC Harass Google To Refund Money Spent On TAN Adverts? by Sibrah: 8:04pm On Feb 06, 2016
Orikinla:
The EFCC has harassed some local newspapers, including Punch and Daily Sun to refund millions of naira they collected for the various presidential campaign adverts for former President Goodluck Jonathan. And the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN) spent millions on online adverts on Google for Mr. Jonathan. And will the EFCC harass Google to refund the money that was paid for these presidential campaign adverts diplayed for months on hundreds of Nigerian websites from 2014 to March 2015?
Mr Orikinla, don't tell me those who recieved #DasukiGate money via transfer or as cash didn't know where it was coming from. All claims of service rendered for receipt of fund in DasukiGate should be treated as hurriedly prepared excuses to help them escape justice, as long as there are no well documented reciepts or invoices, the transactions were meant to share monies out to croonies of PDP bigwigs in power and by extension fund re-election of their Jesus-on-earth, Jonathan. Dokpesi for example did nothing special in his contract to blackmail Tinubu and Buhari. He merely fabricated lies and read them over a poorly organised and blurry looking slideshow. Don't compare that to reputable intl organisation who very likely may not know the significance of monies coming out from the NSA's office directly into their own account, I suggest he(Dokpesi) and his likes should refund 80% of what he was paid for a start.

Proverbs 8:27 - When he prepared
the heavens, I was there, When he
drew a circle on the face of the
deep
Isaiah 40:22 - It is He who sits above
the circle of the earth, And it's
inhabitants are like grasshoppers,
Who stretches out the heavens like a
curtain, And spreads them out like
a tent
to dwell in.
But anyone with a basic grasp of
geometry knows what a circle is.
It's a flat, two dimensional object.
According to these scriptures, the
earth is shaped like a CD. Again, as
much as many people want to
believe this proves that the world is
a sphere, they are only proving the
Bible talks of a flat earth.
Keep decieving yourself. A circular circle is a sphere.

Foreign Affairs › Elderly Man Who Died Having Sex Remains Attached To Partner by Sibrah(op): 2:35am On Feb 05, 2016
Elderly man 'who died while having sex is wheeled away by paramedics - with the prostitute still attached to him'
*Men transport alleged dead body with woman on top on hospital stretcher
*Pair are hidden under a blanket, but the woman does appear to be moving
*The duo were presumably taken to the hospital to be surgically separated
*People can get stuck during sex - a rare occurrence called 'penis captivus
*WARNING: DISTURBING CONTENT

The duo were presumably taken to the hospital to be surgically separated before the man could then be brought to the morgue.
Dying while having sex, although uncommon, can occur due to the strain of the activity.
This can lead to a sudden cardiovascular attack - something that is more common in males.
People are also able to get stuck together while having intercourse - a rare occurrence known as 'penis captivus', where the vagina muscles clamp down on the penis much more firmly than usual.

Dr John Dean, a UK-based sexual physician, previously told the BBC that when the penis is in the vagina it becomes increasingly engorged.
He said: 'The muscles of the woman's pelvic floor contract rhythmically at orgasm. While those muscles contract the penis becomes stuck and further engorged.'
https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2016/02/04/08/30DE2A2000000578-3431353-image-a-8_1454576365991.jpg

Finally the vaginal muscles relax, the blood flows out of the penis and the man can withdraw.
He said that over the years, several of his patients have discussed their experience of getting 'stuck' - more out of curiosity than because it was a problem, however.
One way in which doctors are able to separate people stuck together is by giving the woman an injection commonly used to dilate the uterus of pregnant women.
It is not known what happened to this particular lady and how she was later separated, however.
