hopelink1:Provide a convincing explanation please. I believe your question isn't clear enough. |
I can see some brilliant folks commenting positively and I can also see some other ones derailing. I never asked to be lectured on what govt promise is and isn't, all I needed was info regarding the fate of YouWin and alternatives to it. If govt can feed those who aren't begging with N200B+ then I think YouWin or a similar scheme should be available for those who want to express themselves economically. If you ask me, I know father christmas attitude has been a large part of our problem economically, we prefer to chop today and chop tomorrow. Look at Osun state, if it had invested in more Garment factories when he was busy sharing oil boom money via massive cocoa-yam free meals. Cc: Lalasticlala |
Trash news without source. |
hopelink1:I did a quick cross-check. It is 19 men to be added to 75 on ground. 19 or 94 depending on how you see it. |
Skin cells and imperfection of our bathing process. |
You increase the No of men by minimum of 18.85 but since men cannot be in fraction and question require the " additional number of men required to complete the job on time" it is 19 at minimum. 19 The question should be modified to request the minimum number of men request cos if any one gives an answer greater than the minimum required it will satisfy the condition that request "the number of men to be added to complete the job on time" |
Since the YouWin scheme appears to be going down with 2016 budget, I was asking within me, what's the next bus-stop for funding business ideas? I have been hearing about the Tony Elumelu Foundation too but know little about these other ones save YouWin. I have been wondering, If the government can feed people for free what about those who are ready to work on medium sized ideas but don't have the fund? I beseech on Nairalanders who have such knowledge to come to my rescue. Thanks. |
Wailers, breakfast is set. Kponmo and paper soup. |
badonkadonk:Your ignorance is legendary. If glo was a water supplier and it charged 3 times the rate in europe because it was only able to get water from europe will it be fair considering the distance barrier? Enh? |
Fight back? Don't think so, mud-slinging is their thing. Watch them come out with the story of how "Olisa Metuh and Anehih tried to woo Buhari's daughter" as the reason for their investigation. |
These people need close marking like messi. We heard Website for N50m+, borehole for N50m+ and now fueling of gen set for billions. If private schools with thousands of student and lots of heavy AC, heater don't go beyond a billion Naira annually, what is Fashola powering? Corruption or what? |
How do you go forward with all the discrimination against outsiders. Yorubas, hausas, foreigners are treated like they are they to enslave locals and you know fully well that in the wider scheme of things they have the power to influence relocation of their organisations. Correct me if I am wrong. When collection of 'deve' was booming you lot supported it sheepishly due to innate hate of others. Today the 'deve' collecting boiz are unable to 'obtain' the white men as usual and have formed new organised crime units targetted at the locals who hitherto kept quite. |
Summary: Do not reason. Just grow up hunt some bush meat, untie your wifey wrapper couple of times, and start bragging about selling out your fellow being to some undeniable and stronger forces you call gods. You sound like a babalawo given some target of some huge number of souls that must be misled. This is 2016, let's think of we can create our basic needs efficiently, even if it means reading white man's book to help tame and domesticate the bushmeat we so much love. Happy new reasoning year. |
Oh yes, a war that would have seen most of the brainwashed minority killed after they must have touched few Yoruba and Northerner based on the sentiments of that time. They claimed they subsidized oil for Parasite but now they can watch subsidized action film as DasukiGate unfolds. |
It is no rocket science. If at oil selling for $108 we could effectively swell our recurrent bills like salaries, allowances, maintenance, feeding, fueling etc to 70 percent (I.e 70% of our average $70/Barrel economic benchmark during final PDP years which is equals $49) how is the Buhari led APC govt. even able to pay same recurrent bill from a $30-something ($38 precisely) oil earning? The obvious here that APC is already defying economic doom prophecy from the last few day of PDP led FG. PDP should be ashamed. If Nigeria had embarked on careful construction of larger refineries that is favored by economy of scale reality of oil refining I.e larger refinery help bring average refining cost down significantly, then by now we would be the most competitive refiner of oil and wouldn't be in this tight corner where it cost more to refine a barrel than buy one. Look at the Dasuki figure alone. That could have built us 'The Matrix' standard refineries. |
See how they share our monies like gala and pure water. OP please brand this gala of yours with a good source oh. |
jpphilips:It has always been, at least indirectly. Most loans given out are for housing, cars etc and were repaid with easy money from oil earnings. Let's see how many people rush to take loan at 24-30% interest rate with govt struggling to pay salaries. The easy money is taking a short break for now I tell you. |
These brainwashed 'islamist' and their unrivaled thirst for forceful dominance over others ehn. |
#PDPgate |
Result of years of our mismanagement of resource, cos this woman should be visiting Zimbabwe and not Nigeria. I await the wailers and their usual breakfast-at-6:00PM attitude for any news like this. |
The easy money presented by booming oil prices had rendered Nigerian banker so lazy they will have no way out but to face the reality of competitive economics this year. MFB and CB could easily give loan to workers at 24-30% because the 'workers' were having it easy hitherto. Ideally, the CB were suppose to be driving the core of the economy with low interest lending but have derailed so much because of the easy money virtually poking their nose and begging to be made. I have said before, this is the time to start anything that leads to export-ready produces. If as a honey farmer or yam seller, for every $1000 you made before now you had 1000 X N165/$ to spend then by now you have some 1000 X N250/$ plus to spend. Our problem is lack of competitiveness in exportation caused by years of easy oil money. The easy oil money sure held us back for decades like a curse. |
We need to spill the beans more often to help these unrepentant greedy folks stay in line. |
Saw the thing too on dailymail.co.uk. So sad.
I wonder how they brainwash them so hard. It must be beyond the physical. |
Too much igbo and jazz. |
If she try am, na God go help us wake am. After leaving us refinery-less. |
He can easily say he was the tom-tom contractor for PDP campaign now. Wetin be N1.4B Naira? On a second thought (because N1.4B is just too big), that's enough money to help 500 people start business at N2.8m or build 500 houses |
Never say never, for someone who once talked against Buhari as part GEJ campaign it isn't impossible. |
Dead or alive? Lol He is being drilled, don't be surprised if tommorrow he confesses to being the 'dead' Shekau. |

Playing to the gallery . . . Part 1. We see through the desperation of a few who loathe Buhari so much. Nothing could happen to a theiving ...................., so nothing will happen to a good, corruption-fighting ....................... . |
One key area we are getting it wrong that needs urgent attention is the refining process efficiency. Refining cost is known to be largely influenced by scale of the refining process (economy of scale). Our highest capacity refinery is less than 150,000 barrel a day. The most cost effective ones on ground today, globally, are around the 400,000-500,000 barrel per day range. As a matter of fact most refinery out there refine at a rate higher than cost of a barrel at market. If along with Dangote the the FG can build another similar 500,000+ barrel/day refiner then in four - five years we stand the chance of being one of the most competitive producers of crude product. I personally believe Buhari is a good person to oversee the building of such as it is less likely to be derailed for personal gains. For now there will always conflict of interest as the inefficient refineries supplying us are rumored to belong to people like IBB. |
Psalm18:A case of cutting one's nose to spite the eye. As long as the oppressor veils his actions with the muslim/islam tag, it is cool only people considered outside enough are hated by them. |
