Politics › Re: REVEALED! N850m Was Paid Into Buhari Access Bank Account – Dasuki by Sibrah: 11:01pm On Dec 29, 2015
The news barely talked about its topic and appear to be making threats to Buhari in veiled way. It also tried to put fear into PDP beneficiaries of the loots. Cheap reverse psychology things there.

All these targets are too high. They should target 3 health center per LGC. Then fund and equip them to standard b4 proceeding with more construction.
Politics › Re: US Opts To Buy Nigeria’s Crude, Says Kachikwu by Sibrah: 9:40am On Dec 29, 2015
ZeroTolerance:
Has Buhari not made more than that amount since he became President? What has he done with it?
Nonsense.
Did PDP not leave a huge recurrent bill to gulp more then $2B quarterly? So if Buhari govts earns up to $2B it should be used to build a refinery, before paying dying workers and civil servants abi. Your mumu no get part 2.
What Dasuki alone shared to PDP could have built a gigantic refinery and barnish all our fuel woes forever. No subsidy, No scarcity, plus thousands of Jobs and Forex savings. Your hero would rather have Nigerians suffer to secure the future or their unborn generation. I can't wait to hear Dizeani's own figure. Don't forget there are other huge figure attached to the DasukiGate scandal.
Christianity Etc › Re: Primate Ayodele Unveils His Prediction For 2016 by Sibrah: 5:41pm On Dec 28, 2015
The whole prediction looks phony to me sha. So if people close to Buhari are indicted in corruption it then amounts to him shooting himself in the leg. The man sounds like someone paid by a loyalist of PDP founding fathers and a part Jonathan faction of the PDP. They fear APC will easily dwarf their acheivement even with oil going for $37 against $108 of PDP final regime.

Real pupu indeed. The wailers are so stranded right now, they thought PDP and Nigeria will be under their control for life. So what largest party in Africa has been reduced to.
Politics › Re: Understanding Naira Depreciation For Dummies - Thewhistleng by Sibrah: 3:37pm On Dec 27, 2015
baralatie:
You need to quadruple your cassava and yam output in less than a year to achieve what you are postulating
Which is easier, to quadruple cassava and yam production or fend off the foreign challenge from rice importer, smugglers, foreign farmers? How do we match the foreign rice in quality, price, and availability? Our shortest cut is to increase availability of all substitute goods produced locally.
Politics › Re: Understanding Naira Depreciation For Dummies - Thewhistleng by Sibrah: 3:19pm On Dec 27, 2015
Our fastest way to save money is to replace our most common imported food item with local substitute. If we replace rice with yam, then it is easier to speed up production of yam than rice. Even if we develop enough to produce local rice our prices will likely be unfavourable compared to foreign rice. I admonish this strategy for cassava, yam, potatoes, cocoa yam and potential substitute of rice in our daily meals.
We can extent same strategy to other sector on the short run or keep rolling out long term promise successive govt. admin will come derail.

Psalm18:
Nasarawa state does not need an airport for now.

What the state needs are roads- well constructed linking all the hinterland with the capital.
That dull governor is just looking for an avenue to lift money.

Recent reports say airlines are planning on cutting down flights to Nigeria. Aviation fuel is expensive at best and unavailable presently.

The state has some of the most viable minerals ( baryte, salt, columbite) and arable land, this slowpoke of a governor should focus on these areas rather than this white elephant projects.

Apc as a party should call him to order. Can't this governors even use their common sense for once ?
Instead of doing project that will help strengthen the state's economy and playing field for all, they go after quick, politically motivated and exorbitant projects. No roads for farmers which is are in high number to use but there is an airport for movement of few rich who earn from Abuja. No re-planting of tree on de forested areas. Just free meals and increased salary is what we have from them and they keep complaining of recurrent bill.

Politics › Re: Saudi Arabia Already Moving Economy Beyond Oil, See Projection. by Sibrah: 8:34pm On Dec 25, 2015
Can our state governor say the same of themselves? What we have in Nigeria is sharing and random construction of schools and hospitals. No real strengthening of the institution that allows people express themselves economically. What is the fate of the common business man who is trying to spearhead production of tooth-pick locally? community will extort him, insecurity drives away expert who are suppose to come work on his machines, exportation protocols is stifling, and government structures like roads are down yet we like to praise governors who steal and mismanage funds then turn around to build schools with no teachers or do free cocoa yam meals. We are a joking country.

If only they could provide us with prepaid meters and make the electricy a little bit more stable.
In my area for example, the PHCH guys are the ones blocking the distribution of Prepaid meters so they can fix the bill according to what they like. To make things worse, they do show up randomly and negotiate payment of a fraction of the doctored bill. It goes to show that the level of corruption.
