Business › Re: Recharge Card Printing Business; How Viable Is It? by Sibrah: 6:17pm On Feb 19, 2015
I know of a recharge card printing outfit that is able to pay N50K and above for labour. And from the best of my knowledge they do only recharge card printing but on a relatively large scale to employ a least 7 staff and have a laserjet printet technician in-house for refill and repairs.
Politics › Re: Polls: Only Dishonest Politicians Need Fear Card Readers- The Sun Newspapers by Sibrah: 2:51pm On Feb 19, 2015
While it is a good move to introduce card readers at the polls i don't think the INEC have done enough to secure the credibility of the election. They should come up with a checking mechanism to curb the menace of foreigners registering, under-aged registration particularly in the north, and do proper mock elections for all to see.
Mock election will not necessarily mean people going to the polling booth before the actual elections, but a test that involves similar amount of vote being expected per time be made to hit the central server, where final counting is done, through the live connectivity structure to demonstrate that their systems can handle the impending voting traffic for the election. They have checked the game plan of PDP stronghold largely but not that of the APC stronghold.

Culture › Re: Warri- The Urhobos, The Itsekiris And The Ijaws : Facts And Factlets. by Sibrah: 8:23pm On Feb 15, 2015
- When the colonial NCNC and the Action Group party was formed, the Itsekiris embraced the AG while the Urhobos embraced NCNC. Awolowo punished the Urhobos for this by placing the Itsekiri monarch above all the Urhobo monarchs. Awo also changed the traditional title of the Olu of Itsekiri to the Olu of Warri and moved their traditional island of Ode-Itsekiri to mainland Warri. This led to a series of protests by the Urhobos and Ijaws. This period also marked the beginning of Urhobo nationalism led by the great Mukoro Mowoe, M.G. Ejaife and others. However, the change was already gazetted and little could be done about it. Another bad blood was spilt.

If Importation line is your choice OP, please go to the Importation section and follow trending threads on importation by the likes of Davi8d, MayorAll, YModulus, and ShinaF. That's one ,if not the best, place for freelance importers to start from in Nigeria. If you have a laptop or good android phone or internet enabled tablet where you can pay average of N1,500 for 30 days subscription then you so good to go because before you pay N5,000 worth of internet subscription you should have done you first importation already. Everything is there.
The only limitation is volumes of variety and their MOQ.

I do not agree with this headline anymore. Boko Haram is no longer a Nigerian (Jonathan govt) problem now. They just attacked a nigerien town and just last week there was a massacre in fotokol, a Cameroonian village. Its just a matter of time before the terrorists hit Chad.

Boko haram is now a regional problem and so needs a multinational force to defeat them.

- The Urhobos are the majority ethnic group in Delta State with more than a million people. They occupy Delta Central exclusively but they are also present in a few numbers in Delta South. They also have 9 LGAs out of the 25 LGAs in Delta State. The Urhobos effectively constitute the 5th largest ethnic group in Nigeria coming after the Ijaws.
Really? What about the tribes of northern Nigeria. You thing Hausas and Fulanis are same tribe or there are no other tribes bigger than the Urhobos in the North. Go to Kogi, Benue, Plateau, Nasarawa, Akwa Ibom, Cross Rivers and Niger, I am sure u will see many tribe bigger than Urhobos.
Health › Aspiring Model Told She Was 'too Short' Has Her Legs SURGICALLY Lengthened by Sibrah(op): 3:26am On Feb 07, 2015
Aspiring model told she was 'too short' has her legs SURGICALLY lengthened so she can fulfil her dream of appearing on the catwalk

Alexandra Transer, 30, was told at 17 she was too short to be a model
Decided to spend £6,000 on leg extension surgery so she could grow taller
Surgery involves attaching a cage to legs and stretching them daily
Grew 6cm (2.4 inches) in nine months and aims to be 6ft (183 cm) by 2018
'I'll probably be too old to be a model then but at least I will look like one'

An aspiring model who was told she was too short for the catwalk spent has thousands of pounds having her legs surgically lengthened.

From the age of 14, Alexandra Transer from the city of Volgograd, in south-western Russia, wanted to be a model.

But being just 5.4ft (165cm) she was nowhere near the 6ft (183cm) needed.

So she decided to work and save up money to have radical surgery to make her legs longer
https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2015/02/06/2564327B00000578-2942574-Alexandra_Transer_paid_6_000_for_leg_extension_surgery_Her_legs_-a-18_1423233956105.jpg
Alexandra Transer, from Russia, paid £6,000 for leg extension surgery because her 5'4" frame meant she was too short to be a model. Her legs grew by 6cm (2.4 inches) in nine months. She is pictured before (left) and after (right) the procedure

'But I had read about something called the Ilizarov apparatus which lengthens bones and that the Soviet high jump champion Valery Brumel had had this done in 1968.

'So I decided to work and save up money to have the operation done.
'Seeing that I was so determined, my parents gave in and agreed to support me.'

Turning down a place at university, Ms Transer, who is now 30, went to work as an assistant for her engineer father until she saved up the £6,000 needed.

The surgery involved surgically fracturing her legs and fitting a metal cage known as a ring apparatus to each leg.

As she recovered, the fractured bone began to grow together.

But while it was growing, Ms Transer had to turn a screw on each cage four times a day, moving the healing fracture apart by approximately one milimeter a day.

Over time, this meant her leg stretched by 6cm (2.4 inches).

She said: 'The first operation went really well and in nine months I grew by 6cm.

'I am now planning two more operations in the next couple of years and by 2018 I will be 6ft.

Buhari is far passionate about Nigeria he contested 3 times due to this passion to fix Nigeria, Jonathan is an accidental president without vision/mission.

This part is very funny, even TANoids will be laffing “Under Jonathan, Nigeria is in safe hands" - IBB huh

2010: 75
2011: 600

Buhari went to the United States Army War College and attended Officer's Cadet School in Aldershot (United Kingdom) in October 1963 and the Defence Services' Staff College, Wellington (India) in 1973. This is the man that will make Nigeria safe
