omo I don’t know if they give officers that chance..maybe NCO’s sha.. that cute Abiola guy does well for himself as an actor/skit maker and a comedian ..and the navy seems to be fine with it.. there are numerous army NCOs that are musicians.. but I have not seen an officer do any.. please I’d you have better insight.. share with us

He wouldnt, same way the 2nd lieutenant will have to respect himself cuz he knows nothing yet..

Experience is ever the best teacher, make person no go do puma to him early grave. It's always better to be humble n learn than to walk with 50 shoulder patch with pride n know nothing.

Na salute person wan chop?
Survival first

That's why I said na only commissioning person go use pass them.. Everybody na soldier but always have it in mind that people will always follow the leadership of a familiar face.
in all generally, we’ve said the same thing.. i just wanted to point out one single point and that was it.. chikena

Jeralj... will your father have walked past a 30 year old 2nd lieutenant without giving him his compliment? Irrespective of the fact that your dad had more experience
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Army SSC And DSSC 2016/2017 Forum by sikowitz17: 12:49pm On Sep 28, 2020
Omo there are many things you’ll see on Nairaland.. plenty plenty things.. an MWO will walk past me and not give me compliment as an officer and I will smile and say it’s okay! Because he’s an MWO!

Even the MWO would NEVER NOT SALUTE AN OFFICER!! Even if the officer is 15 years old.. he will write letter to coas and without any official verification of what transpired, they won’t even talk to the officer ooo, they will just hand him over to the MWO to take him on course? Kai these people are funnyyyyy

@sikwitz... If u charge a master... Plz who go do the order??
So a master warrant officer isn’t accountable to anybody? He’s not accountable to the army council or officers? What point are you trying to prove manhuh Don’t they charge generals? Who carries out the orders when a general is involved? What are you saying man?
Bro we just respect them because of the age and rank/experience! We are OFFICERS! You should know now before you enter and go and be taking shit from your juniors

How far guys?
Hope your morale is high?
If you are not selected, don't feel like I use to feel and if you have an opportunity to try again, please do.
From the surface, it looks like joining the army is a death sentence but many people did survive whether ambush, landmine or ied.
When it is your time to go, don't fight it instead use it to accomplish so many, such as in the battle field, when you are injured beyond repair and your collegues carrying you will endanger them too, you can hold up for them, this is not movie something, it is something that you will be faced with, never be selfish or a coward.
whether ssc or dssc, all man must witness north east, you in finance must enter bush to go pay people and you fit jam ambush and ied, a doctor, eyaa, na inside bush be your abode because, we need you to apply first aid to the injured so no think you are free, army has a way of finding a reason for you to be a combatant so zero your mind.
Ehee! before I forget that guy that is carrying grudges for a mwo, hmmm, its like you want to die early.
i Dey always hear say finance go enter ne to go pay soldiers!! I’ve always wondered.. shey na cash dem Dey pay soldiers ni? They don’t pay to your bank? Make una explain ooo abeg

This isn’t the Nigerian police force of civil defense that constable will be dragging with Sargent.. immediately you turn up!! The echo of “Morning sir” will cover the whole room.. I will collect my compliment with pride but remember that these men are very experienced than I am.. you will carry them along and also respect the experience they have.. cos believe it or not, if you treat them well, they can save you from death on the frontline

Oga sikowitz, I do 1,200 skipping rope and running up stairs 10× a day..Is this a good start to fitness for the 4km run?
Any form of cardio is good bro.. it’s a wonderful start.. but you need to start going on the run itself.. cos that’s where you begin to build endurance from.
