There was this girl in my primary school. She seem to come from a really rich family since she came to school everyday with at least 20 naira. To top it off, she is very generous she buys candy and biscuits for her friends and I made sure to walk home with her, since we follow the same path, so she can buy me icecream etc. One morning on the assembly line, the headmaster told us that a very unfortunate event has happened that we have found a witch in our midst. This same girl was brought to the front to the assembly, laid on a table and flogged mercilessly. apparently, her mother and brother have been complaining that at night she went to the witch world and it was hard to wake her up in the morning.
The worst part was that there was a rumor circulating that all the people she had bought food for will join her in the dark world. She will drag us there in our sleep.
I swear I fasted for almost three days after that and my parents thought I was sick. . I was so scared I was going to turn into a witch.

That's a funny yet serious story there. . ,
