What's the best way to sell information products in Nigeria? I'm talking about automated sales (digital downloads); what kind of payment platform, payment gateway, and Web interface would be best for this? One is doing good with this for international sales, as it is quite easy to do that with the numerous USD payment processors/gateways as long as you have a PayPal account. But for information products targeted at the Nigerian market, I'm at a loss. Anyone here has any experience with this? |
Must be a confusing case for the name checking crusaders of Nairaland... A woman with Opara as surname, who happens to be from Ogun State. I wonder what the final verdict would be. |
midolian:So why exactly were they voted in to replace Jonathan? I don't understand you. People. Any incompetent fool came blame. Ok we all know Jonathan's government was bad and corrupt, that's why they were voted out Now why not do the work we voted you in for? Why the stupid and endless excuses? |
We can't always believe the stories concocted by these desperate bloggers. I'm not sure people can be so inhumane. Perhaps the real story is different. |

meforyou1:Maryland is in Ikeja. |
Alcatraz005:.. Don't use words foolishly. What does ignorant mean? I made a straightforward point with examples. Refute it with a counter argument with examples,. That's how to be smart. If you can't, then don't respond at all. Calling others names doesn't prove you have any sense at all, Mr. Ignorant Somebody. |
Yet they say all the so-called hard working billionaires work till 2.am and wake up by 5.am. That's only three hours of sleep. They say someone like Mike Adenuga only sleeps for 2 to 3 hours every night, because he must stay alert to monitor his multi billion dollar empire. Which one should we believe? Who sleep epp? The truth is that sleep cannot and should not stand in the way of one's pursuit of money. We shall all have enough time to sleep.... When we are dead. |
CynthiaChi:It's not a residential area so it doesn't count. Take a tour of Shonibare Estate or G Cappa (both close to Sheraton Hotel) and discover the beauty of Ikeja. |
CynthiaChi:Which part of Ikeja do you consider crime ridden? Places like G Cappa, Shonibare Estate, Ikeja GRA, Okupe Estate, parts of Adeniyi Jones, Ishmael Estate, parts of Oregun, etc are beautiful, sane and crime free... Better than many places on the Island. The likes of G Cappa and Shonibare and some parts of Ikeja GRA are even more peaceful and cool than most places in Ikoyi, except maybe old Ikoyi and Banana. |
Ginaz:I was looking out for this informed response. I wonder why most Nigerians ignorantly believe that it is a sexually transmitted infection. |
Provide more specific information. |
lefulefu:Exactly. I think it's foolish how some people here treat having or lacking money as permanent conditions, especially in terms of dealing with women, having relationships or getting married. I know a former multimillionaire that is super broke today. His wife and five children are basically living in penury now, as in using public transport and patching things. He married her as a young millionaire whose future looked secure. Sounds funny but it's true. On the other hand, I know many that got married as broke asses without any clear hope, but they're doing fine today. Zigzag. We all need to be wise in these things. |
zeedrous:What is your argument. What is your point? You can't be clever by half. Don't form witty for nothing. Don't be lazy. How am I myopic? Type out your argument so that we would know what your point is.. |
Myopic people everywhere. Because you have some coins now you think you're OK. And because you think you're OK, you now feel entitled to a serious relationship. What if you lose your job or have business setbacks or challenges later on as millions of people in this same Nigeria have experienced? What would you recommend for yourself then? Leave the relationship or marriage (including your children if you have any by then? Life is not as simple and straightforward as you people think it is. Try to think deep and have sense please. |
I don't understand some people and their impunity. Since Maina had such strong contacts with the AGF and other presidency officials, why didn't he quietly return to the country and continue to enjoy his loot quietly under the radar, without fear that his EFCC case would reopen again? Why did he need to be reinstated into the Federal Civil Service? What else is he looking for there when he already has billions in assets and cash? Now, he has drawn unnecessary attention to himself. Isn't that pretty stupid? Beats me. |
Funny how people overrate marriage. |
This is not fraud if you ask me. If not that Nigeria's police force are clueless and like to arrest people without concrete charges, she wouldn't have been arrested. If the case gets to court, any decent lawyer can get her off the hook very easily and quickly. All the blame goes to the desperate and randy men who give her money. As long as the money was supposedly used to persuade relatives and the girl to marry the suitor, and as long as no clear cut refund policy or agreement (in writing) accompanied the exchange of money, then there is nothing that can incriminate her as a fraudster in court. |
He performed in Eko Hotel, yes, but was he also robbed in a room in the same Eko Hotel? The report does not make this clear, and I very much doubt that that is possible. |
Greatmind23:Lol. Imagine spending N150k on a Tecno phone |
aolawale025:It's as simple as that nothing more, nothing less. |
mandae:I'm not sure even this can work. The police or even the court can't just issue a freeze order merely on face value, just because you claimed that you transferred money to a person's account in error. There's no concrete evidence of fraud that the police or the court can act upon. There is a valid assumption that you wilfully transferred the money to the other party either as a freely given gift or as payment for a service rendered. The other party can also claim, with fake evidence, that the money was paid for x or y reason as agreed in principle (not in writing) between the two of you. There's no way to prove a gentlemen agreement. It's his word against yours. Quite frankly, when such a mistake has been made, there is no realistic legal remedy. Unless you can provide a valid evidence that you were defrauded by the other party (that he promised xyz good or service for which the payment was made, but which was not delivered as agreed). You need clear, documentary evidence for this. Otherwise, it would just be a merry go round and an exercise in futility if you involve the police, because such a case would not stand a chance in court. The police would just be extorting money from both parties until you get frustrated and dump the case. |
The freedom, and total control, no obligation |
okerekeikpo:As in eh. It's so annoying. |
So after the abundant evidence of non-culpability, the police still wants to file charges against Davido's innocent associates? For what reason? What charges exactly? This country's security operatives leave much to be desired. |
MaritzaNL:Looks more like a 'He' to me. |
