bazetrend:Traffic to a blog or to a landing page for a product or for sales? You have to be more specific about the kind of traffic you mean... If its for a blog, then don't count on it. You'll waste your money for nothing. From my experience Facebook ads do not generate Adsense clicks of affiliate sales. Facebook is only good for 'impression' ads, not for clicks and conversions. |
The love of money is the root of all evil. And hunger makes a man shameless. |
If you've been blogging for "over a decade ago" and you have been in the "E-Commerce sector" for over 5 years, then N350k ($1k) a week is an underachievement. Perhaps you should be the one seeking out boot camps to attend. |
The OP's sense of sarcasm and caustic humour is something else. Funny indeed... "He was seen pulling out one leg, after successfully taking out the other one". Haha. |
plat0:Really? This is my only moniker bro. I'm sure many people here share my simple views about a lot of things. But sure you can pm me. |
Thatnawtichick:Are you really sure it's her body? But I'm shocked she reduced herself to this. |
bluefilm:How many days after Google sends the payment does it take to hit your Access Bank savings account? |
exporters101:This is the most confusing thing I've ever read. Kindly break it down for easier understanding. In simple language, what exactly is "top up"? |
Optionally:This is embarrassing. PM your number let me gift you data for one year. |
What are you geeks talking about? |
How much is his salary again, or better still, what does he do for a living again? Nigeria. Na wa. |
RuthlessLeader:He wouldn't have the powers to do that, that's my point. Only a constitutional amendment can change such things. And it's the same senators that will oversee Constitution amendments so how would he achieve this? |
In other words he will have to abolish the Constitution (not even amend it)
Seems he's not very enlightened about how the law works. Just a dreamer. |
divinelove:"If I have sense'? Smh. Don't worry, time would come for you to prove that you have lots of sense. |
divinelove:How 'stable' is a stable income? What if you have a good job before marriage and then later lose the job in the next 7 to 10 years, by which time you already have three school aged kids? What would you do then, would you get divorce? Besides, in that situation, how are you better than someone who got married in the first place with no "stable income"?.. Life is too deep. Let's not over simplify it. |
This is funny. Allowed to do their work only for the opposition. Or allowed to do their work by unlawfully arresting innocent citizens and extorting them. Is that their work? |
donstan18:This is funny but not true. I don't know how skint and penny pinching some of you here are but I wouldn't see N5k as a 'loss' in this scenario. It's her loss really, she outsmarted herself over peanuts. Maybe she would have gained a whole lot more than that if all ended well or if she behaved herself. N5k is just a regular low key beer session. Nothing to feel smart about. |
peeps4u:Very good. The thing about mechanic and other similar vocations is that 'hand work' will always be in fashion, but don't count on it. Trust me, things evolve quickly, but technology and the Internet is the future. So I'll expose my children to online/tech hustles from Day 1... Programming, coding, arbitrage, eCommerce, blogging, etc. Sooner than you imagine, everything would move online in Nigeria (as it has already happened in the civilised world). Some domain names are more expensive than any acre of land anywhere in the world. Think about that. It's too easy to make a decent livelihood or even make a colossal fortune by mastering this online ecosystem of commerce, services, and such. Nigeria is a relatively virgin market, so the timing is great for all of us men of purpose and action. Let's jump in now, and then prepare our youngies to join in as early as possible too. |
This is good. I commend the guy, cos I'll do the same thing too. In this world, if you don't have practical skills to make money on your own, you've not started. You might end up like the Osun workers who commit suicide when their salary is not paid, because they're hungry and can't find any way to feed. Imagine. That's why I don't respect salary earners, sorry to say. Forget all the academic qualifications or professional courses. They're worthless. If they're that useful, why not use them to make money on your own? For most salary earners, if they are sacked and can't find another job, then they're worse off than an Okada rider. They can't even rub two stones together to earn one kobo on their own. That's not life. If you're in this category, you've not proven yourself in the real world. Go out there all by yourself and make money by solving problems with any marketable skill you possess or through one hustle or the other. Otherwise, you're not yet ready, sorry. |
Why is Domain King insisting that you must buy a dedicated IP and a paid SSL certificate from them before migrating your wordpress site from http to https? Another reason why Nigerian hosting companies are a pain in the neck. I should be able to use a free SSL certificate like Let's Encrypt. |
kelvinnaira:I think nothing beats all those federal government 'N Power' kind of job application or university application ' how much is bla bla Post UME form' topics. Searches are in the hundreds of thousands.. And also the 'data plan' and 'call tariff' topics for all the major networks...which majority of Nigerian Internet users search fro from time to time. If you're looking for highest volume keywords in Nigeria, these should be in the top 5. Welcome to $0.01 CPC though. |
Well the responses show there's good demand and high engagement. I smell a lucrative business opportunity here. |
Hotfreeze:I think this law is retrogressive and anti capitalism. This shouldn't be the case |
3html:I hardly get up to 0.04 for purely Nigerian clicks sef. It's mostly between 0.01 and 0.03. But the thing is, if your topic is one that Nigerians are searching for, including Nigerians living abroad then you could get decent CPC from Naija diaspora people. Google wouldn't ask for the nationality of your clickers before awarding high CPC. In spite of the low CPC, what I like about Nigeria targeted blog niches/articles is that it is earlier to rank, and Nigerians seem more click happy. |
Trottle:The "powers that be" assigned what to who? Do you know the meaning of net worth? The level of ignorance, myopia and pettiness displayed here is baffling. |
Bolowolowo:. Thats the aftereffect of the BH decimation. The ragtags reduced the base to a mere outpost. |
Urrgh |
Not generally, but mostly. |
.....Its her body anyways
