It has been bothering my mind for so long... Since, d word LOVE has been miss use, and also miss interpreted these days. So, i want to know if LIKE can replace LOVE in our everyday context or in our love life

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, yesterday, said he would use the last drop of his blood to defend the unityand progress of Nigeria.
This came as President Goodluck Jonathan described Obasanjo as “a true nationalist and promoter of national unity.”
Obasanjo spoke during his 76th birthday celebration, at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta.
The birthday celebration also featured a public presentationof a book titled “Olusegun Obasanjo- the Presidential Legacy-1999-2003.”
Obasanjo said: “Even if it remains the last breadth in me, I will work, preserve and promote the unity and progress of Nigeria, work for Africa development and indeedpromote humanity.
“If you are in public service and you expect commendation of men and women, you may be the most disappointed human being on earth. So, if commendations do come, take it as it comes and accept it and if it does not come, don’t worry.
“Some people had made it a point of duty to run this place (Presidential Library) down even before it started. One day we were here and one man said he wanted to apologise. He said he joined people to condemn the library without even knowing what it is all about. I told him that it does not really matter, since God has not condemned us.”
In his goodwill message, President Jonathan, represented at the celebrationby his Chief of Staff, Mr. Mike Oghiadomhe, said Obasanjo was a true elder statesman and peace loving person.
The President said: “Your success are well placed in the history of our dear country. We celebrate with you as you continue to contribute to the growth and development of Nigeria.
“You demonstrated this when military regimes were still fashionable, you shunned the unusual temptation of regime extension to usher in democracy in 1979.
“You have served Nigeria diligently and with total commitment, when in 1999 after the unfortunate incidences in our country and the opportunity came and you were beckoned upon to serveas elected president.”

A young man was a great fan of Britney Spears and went under the knife to prove it. Kara NicoleHays spent approximately$70,000 to get the look of Britney Spears the news media reported.
The 26-year-old believes that the surgery cost about$30,000, the remainder went to therapy, hormones, clothing, cosmetics and everything elsehe needed to make the transition.
Hays said that his face is all natural and any resemblance to Spears is a lucky coincidence. "I never had facial reconstruction to look like a celebrity," he said.
Hays, who went by the name of Kody while growing up in a staunchly conservative area of Southeastern Ohio, said Spears's music brought him comfort in difficult times.
"Britney was a person who helped me through depression," he said. "Dancing to Britney's videos also helped me lose weight and feel better about myself."
Hays told the news media that he faced a lot of toxic attitudes in his smalltown. He said his family had trouble accepting initially that he wanted to live his life as a girl.
They feared a backlash from narrow-minded neighbors. "It was not until we broughtin doctors and psychiatrists when they finally graspedthe situation," he said.
Things were not easy in school either. Hays said that although he was allowed to enter school as a girl, there was no great storybook ending.
"I was nominated to the court of honor probably as a joke, but my name had to be removed," he said. "The school officials had to personally come to my house to ask mymom and I about me being removed in the fear of controversy in the small town."
He said he played"low profile" in high school because of"death threats."

Tolexander: valentine day is just very special to me cos when i was in my early teenage(13/14), i had this very pretty gurl that we always did follow ourselves like the fan blades in the end of the term's school report card.
We did go home together in her mum's car anytime after the end of the term or mid term holiday as a border. Her mum worked in our school so very easy for her to convey us home.
We were very found of each other that we did everything in common without allowing any of our classmate to interfere, though restricted by the different hostels that we stayed.
I discovered that i started developing the affection, love! u said? I dont know o cos i was still immature to understand what it was then.
Later my elder brothers noticing our intimacy started propagating the effontery to ask her out in me. But the liver wasn't there. My brothers have been talking about feb 14 as a valentine day, a day to show ur loved ones that you love them. Fortunately, we had a mid term during that valentine and it was even on saturday.
Like it had always been, i went to her house to play with her on that val day. As we were talking, we heard the radio talking about the valentine, we changed the topic of our discussion to the valentine. Later i asked her who was her valentine and she paused for a while and mentioned my name. I asked again to ascertain what i heard and she repeated it. Was very glad is an understatement. I told her that am coming and rushed down home. Fortunately, i met my naughty bros and told them. They asked me for my response and i said nothing. One of them laced me a dirty slap and said don't be slack, every opportunity lost can never be regained. Immediately he sent me back to tell her she is also my val. It was like heaven would fall down on me when i went back to see her. Alas i said 'U too are my val' stammering and about to run away. She called me back and asked if i was serious. In my mind, i was thinking brother Peter(my brother that sent me back) had put me to my doom today. But the gurl just said she loves me. I stood still like a lake. And since then, we became gf and bf.
Everytime i remembered val, i always have that nostalgic scene, slap, the brothers and 'every opportunity lost can never be regained'.
