Romance › 8 Things You Should Never Do On A First Date by simdam500(op): 8:35am On Jan 26, 2013
First date is always special, so keep it that way. There are many things you should never do on a first date. Continue reading to know more.
1. Do not be fake
Do not be fake, if you are meeting someone for the first time. Agreed, you would want to leave a lasting impression on that person. But, being someone else will not help you. Be as you are, because that matters the most. Behaving fake might leave a bad impression on your date.
2. Do not talk about your ex
It is not a good idea to talk about your ex on your first date. Your first date is all about you and your date, sowhy get your ex in between. Know your date properly, and then confide in him aboutyour ex. This should happenon the third or fourth meeting.
3. Do not feel nervous
It is natural to get nervous, if it’s your first date. But, nervousness can also ruin your date. So, act confident when you are meeting your date. It is a good idea to be relaxed; this will also help you to communicate in a better way.
4. Do not dress inappropriately
The way you dress on your first date is important. So, donot overdo your dressing. Do not choose clothes that are too casual. Also, do not choose clothes which are tooformal. Choose clothes which can make you look stylish and classy at the same time.
5. Talk politely
Talk politely with your date. The way you talk to your date will have a great impacton him. Do not be rude or arrogant with him, this wouldbe a turn off.
6. Do not answer your phone calls
If you cannot live without your phone, then this tip is for you. While on a first date, do not answer your calls. Do not chat on your phone while talking to your date. This behavior is akin to ignoring him, which he will not like at all.
7. Do not reveal much
Even if you have developed a comfort level with your date, do not reveal much. First date is all about formal introduction. Once you know that he is the one for you, share your inner feelings with him.
8. Do not talk about love and sex
It’s just your first date, so what is the hurry to talk about love and sex. Do not show yourself to be desperate. It is important to be casual about such things when you are on your first date.

Sports › Nations Cup: “I Will Strip To My Shorts If We Win The Trophy” –enyeama by simdam500(op): 10:12pm On Jan 18, 2013
As the Africa Cup of Nations kicks off this weekend in South Africa, Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, has vowed that if Nigeria wins the tournament, he will go half naked.
Enyeama, who is on loan atMaccabi Tel Aviv from Ligue 1 side Lille, is likely to be in between the postsfor Stephen Keshi’s team, after Austine Ejide picked up a thigh injury.
“It will be a dream come true and I am certain I will strip to my shorts. Yes, leteveryone hear it that I will strip to my shorts if we are champions,” the former Enyimba goalie said.
Beyond the continental fiesta, Enyeama is looking to keep playing till he is 40years or more.
“I aim to keep playing until am 40 years old. If possible I wish to play till I am 42. I work hard and I am focused. I know that if I do as little as I did today (he spoke to supersport.comafter the Super Eagles’ victory overDutch side Sparta Rotterdam) in more matches then I can easily play that long.”
The stopper however saidhe takes each match as it comes, even as Nigeria awaits its first trophy in 19years.
“Personally, I do not think we are looking at the trophy for now. We want towin the first game, then the next and then the one after that,” he said.
“Nigerians should have faith in us, believe the best of us and pray for us.It is not beyond our abilities to win the competition with God on ourside.”

Crime › Husband And Wife Arrested Over Illegal Business by simdam500(op): 6:53pm On Jan 16, 2013
Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Lagos State Command, has arrested a trader, John Gere, and his wife, Queen Gere, as well as three others for alleged pipeline vandalism.
“They were arrested in Epe and they even attacked some of the officers who went for the raid. We recovered from them more than 20 kegs ofpetrol. They will be charged to court and the exhibit will be handed overto either the police, court or Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation as the case may be.”
The Commandant General, who was represented by the Deputy Commandant General in charge of operations, Mr. Evans Ewurum, told newsmen.
The suspects, however, denied being pipeline vandals, saying that they were arrested unjustly by overzealous NSCDC operatives.
One of the suspects, Favour Egboh, said, “I liveat Temu Village, Epe and I buy diesel from trailers. The trailers I buy diesel from do not have company names written on them. I went into this business because of my condition.
“I have three children and no husband. I’m presently suffering from diabetes and I have my medicine here with me. I went to buymy medicine from a chemistnearby and they arrested me on my way back.”
Asked how much she sold diesel, she said, “I buy it at the rate of N3,500 for 30 litres and sell it for N4,000 naira or N3,750. I buy 50 litres for N7,000 and sell for N7,500. I use the money I get from my business to take care of my three children.
on her part, Queen Gere however denied complicity, saying that she was arrested by the operatives when she cameto secure Egboh’s release.
“I don’t sell diesel. I sell spirits and I don’t even live in Epe. My sister (Egboh) sells diesel. I went to plead that she should be released and they arrested me too,” she said.
Queen’s husband corroborated her story, saying he was also arrested after his wife called him to secure her release. He said he was not a pipeline vandal and urged the operatives to release him.
He said, “I stay at Ishala. I sell spirits. I went to buy a large quantity of spirits in a drum when my wife calledme that her sister was arrested. I rushed down tothe place. My wife said shecame out and met with the civil defence officials and they arrested her. They asked if I was the husbandand they arrested me when I said ‘yes.’
“My vehicle was attacked by armed robbers on Wednesday and my boys that were in it were injured. I have not even found the vehicle and these people have come toinflict on me more pains.”
