Honestly, no matter how functional your application is, once HR sees it and the looks are horrible, they will trash your CV. A Dev might know a good functional application but Devs aren't involved in the hiring process till the late stages. keep building and practicing offhead without spying on people's project..though there is nothing bad about that but building your own offhead helps you strengthen your skills and understand how they work.
also, you need to take your time to learn a very core advance CSS and web page structure for a better modernize real world project, nobody notice or care about the j.s functionalities, they all care about the design, forgeting even this your design is still even better than some real world site out there.., so work on that.

And to your main post... I will advice 100lvl students in any tertiary institution right now to drop out in first semester if your CGPA is less than 3.0.

Drop out, rewrite JAMB and enroll in a course that's more suited to your strengths ...and of course you must be serious this time!

The points raised by the OP are a 'hail Mary' at least. They will only work for one in one million.

If you graduate with a 2:2 or less, your chances of getting employment in an economy with 33% unemployment rate is so tiny, you may as well forget about trying.

You cant even join the army with that result.

To all undergraduates reading, now more than ever is time to take your studies SUPER SERIOUSLY especially if you plan to make honest and legitimate living in Nigeria.

If you're a graduate with 2:2 or less, take the OP's advice of discovering yourself and build g a SKILL around your discovery.

You have a higher chance of succeeding by selling your skills than waiting for a job in Bubu's Nigeria.

am an ex-corp member, served in anambra, spent only 30% of my allowance, after my service year, anambra state government paid us 84k.

Some of us as a graduate are not humble enough to take the low esteem job that full out there instead we focus and target those white collar job that worth boasting of.

This is my testimony, immediately I graduated I was so desperate to get job so I was not selective at all. My first job was a security job which I worked as a Guard of which only few of fresh graduate can take such job because it was such a low esteem job. I worked 2yrs as guard with 30k salary and later quited the job and reapply for another security relative job of which I had the grace and mercy of God in the job I was promoted to become a supervisor with 50k salary.

For God so good I was blessed by God through the MD of the firm with sum of 120k for my performance quality worked according to her(MD)/of which I knew to myself that it was God work because I didn't see any thing extra ordinary in my work.

That was how I made my first 300k( additional fund I had I my bank account all through this security job included.)

I was so determined with my saving plan amid of which I abstain from ladies in other to remain focus and to avoid unnecessary expenses. I quited security job last year November and initiate a small scale business that I was advise to engage here in NL and now I'm making average of 3k daily net income after deduction of expenses incurred.

What I'm insinuating as a point is we can start from mud and rise to the zenith...you see all those dirty job sometimes comprises an hidden treasure but being a graduate we do neglect such job to embrace sound job with empty substance.

Let me blow your mind, from my small scale business I've made 150k from it this year despite it a fresh growing business.
