Either, planning to major in astrophysics... Hi!

Don't see this post as an effort to discourage you but before deciding your major, you really have to think about the following

1. what are my career prospects for this major?

2. Would I need to relocate to fulfil my career prospects (Nigeria is not a the best place to build a career in astrophysics)

3. would my major allow me to change industries in the nearest future?

and so on.

The reason many people major in Telecoms, Electronics and Power is because of the questions above.

And to the best of my knowledge, I don't think there's any school in Nigeria that offers a major in astrophysics (I may be wrong tho).

So answer these questions HONESTLY before deciding on what to major in.

I have received a text from my CLO informin me that it's next week (18th).

I heard dat the reason d clearance is goin 2 be done now is that clearance is always done d 1st week of every month but dat in January, most peeps would be reluctant to come 4 clearance in d 1st week since they'l stil be enjoyin d hols.

If it's postponed, fine. If not, I'll travel on d 17th do d clearance on d 18th & after d clearance, leave for Lag immediately

This is d 1st time I'd be seeing this.
I'm SC, in my late 20s and I've lived a VERY healthy life. The only crises I used to experience were serious bone pains (some called it rheumatism).
Cos I was a very healthy boy, I used to think I was AA. Not until I got admission and had blood tests. A year later, my elder brother got tested and d results show he's AC.
When d frequency of my crises increased, I enquired about d origin of d whole thing cos I'm d only one in d family that experiences crises.
On speaking to our first born, she told me my mum used to experience d same symptoms (so I guess she must have been SC while dad would have been AS). But since they are both late, I can't ask them.
However, I've decided I'm goin to marry AA by God's grace so I always stylishly ask my gfs about their genotype.

To monitor a project that big to make sure the data you're provided with is almost equal to collecting the data yourself.

my dear, I can't remember taking sides, and if ur talking of shallow read what you typed again. U dnt even seem to get the simple logic, data is being collected by and organizations which would be forwarded to the FG to be used or discarded, it can be collected by the Lagos state government from the organization for those in Lagos alone simple, shuo, how I wan take explain am pass. And Lagos state might not need to spend a dime because the FG would be paying the bill, all they have to do is monitor the process in Lagos alone.

I asked a question up there which no one has answered and I'l ask you.

Can LASG rest assured that they would have access to UNFALSIFIED data from the FG if a FG agency is in charge of data collection for both d State & d FG?

And if you think the FG can't or won't falsify data, kindly think about the last census.

I hope you remember that during the census, LASG conducted it's own census (data collection battle) & after d census, d FG claimed that Kano was more populated than Lagos (due to the data they had) while LASG claimed d population of Lagos was more than the figure the FG came up with.

I guess if the whole system was transparent, collaboration would have been an excellent idea but d system is not. Lest not forget that LASG and FG have been at loggerheads since 1999

The working condition in most private firms in Nigeria is Modern day slavery. I really don't know what the organisation in charge of Labour in Nigeria is doing, no laws, soo inactive, employees are suffering.... Strict laws should be put in place and defaulters charged...


but as an employee, make sure you do what you're paid for before complaining. .....

The new National Id Card that people just registered for, when is it going to be out?

The voters card that many Lagosians registered for 4 years ago (including the governor), how many Lagosians have gotten theirs?

Does the use of a State Id card clash with that of a National Id card?

Do the States in this country have access to unfalsified data from the Federal government about residents in the respective states?

Until someone answers these questions, I'll gladly label this as a good move from Fashola

I've been married for a long time and we have our moments. In resolving, we developed our ground rules for fighting fair: don't do it before the children, don't raise voice even in the bedroom, walk out when you feel physical, don't use curse words but concentrate on the annoying issue, don't go to sleep in a different bedroom as that will prolong the make up time etc.
My marriage isn't perfect but it's beautiful

I was accepted shaperly but the Principal wants to start behaving funny. After agreeing on two subjects (Physics and Geography) he sends me a text message this week to inform me that F. Maths has been added to the list. I still dey cool down for him cos he is a Priest.

But seriously, y do we have to travel during this yuletide season for January clearance? I was asked to report to my local govt (Ehime-Mbano) on the 18th of this month... Haba!
