For VAC to have held during Lockdown shows it is possible and that, they are serious with the recruitment. The project track is to have gas being produced by Q1 2021. So trust me resumption is highly feasible for this year.

Barring no changes... By August, we should have next update...

The assessment centre this year will not be physical as against previous years. It would be done online.

Relax bro. You haven't misinformed anyone at all. Your info is clear. Due to the Covid-19 and the need to keep people safe, Unilever is simply running her AC online and they won't be the first to do that.

AC is real time with human interactions and not pre-recorded.

I won't even shade u back, obviously you lack proper conversation etiquette. I have researched their recruitment precess back and forth for 2020 not once have I seen a digital discovery centre. No company does all her recruitment activities using digital assessment all through, at one stage usually d final stage you must talk to real people either physically or online. Stage 3 is already a digital assessment, stage 4 can't be another digital assessment oga ... na lie, you have no idea what ur so-called digital discovery centre entail so stop misleading people. For those of us that will get the expected mail we will know what to do then...
For now pls you guy should go and be doing individual research and refrain urself from asking questions that are irrelevant or that you can just ask google.

Stage four as presented below you will be having meetings with real people- Weda using a digital medium or physical medium u will sha be interacting with real people not a prerecorded digital assessment

Application process summary

3. Digital interview

You will be asked to solve real-world problems using Unilever scenarios, giving you the the chance to learn more about our company culture and the way we do business.

The interview will be split into two components, which consists of three short hypothetical questions, followed by a business case. You’ll be able to record and complete your interview anytime (up until a deadline we’ll set) and anywhere, whichever suits you best. All you need is a computer, webcam and/or smartphone, and most importantly, a good and stable internet connection

4. Discovery center day

This is the final stage of the recruitment process and provides you with a truly immersive experience and the chance to live ‘a day in the life’ of a Future Leader at Unilever. You get to experience a number of exciting activities and projects that include:

Project meeting with colleagues from your function

Short meeting with Senior Management regarding a current business challenge

Team meeting with the other candidates

One-to-one meeting with your Line manager

These exercises are designed around a real business case study, enabling us to assess your potential, while giving you a further insight into what it is like to work in Unilever
You obviously didn't understand/comprehend the guy's info hence all this.

He never mentioned a prerecorded assessment centre. What he meant by digital is that the AC will be done online with human interactions. Many organizations are now running their recruitment using Virtual/digital AC.

Platforms like Skype, Teams, Zoom can be leveraged on.

Negotiate rankhuh No, not possible.... This is Graduate Trainee bro, if you like get 3 yrs experience it doesn't count with pay or rank, simply put, this is an entry level position. Infact you get same pay with someone who has 0 yr work experience...

Please who informed you closing is by 4huh ...also about pay model, don't be worked up with this issue (they might not adopt the two model up there).... just know you will be fine.

Getting salary figures won't be easy for now as this will be the first set of GT Anoh is taking. Poor communication was due to some internal delay at Seplat and not HCP's fault.

ANOH is a JV between NGC and Seplat so be sure the pay will be okay at start (They might adopt Seplat pay model or NGC or new payment modalities).

If you ace the test, then take the AC serious.

It simply means Oando is placing it on hold pending when Covid-19 subsides and economic activities return to normalcy.

So Oando will then lift the hold on it for workforce to resume the process. Let's hope the recruitment resumes back May.

Though am Foreseeing June/July.

According to the info I got, there is still assessment centre (which should be final stage (subject to changes) ) before medical/offer letter issuance.

What is stalling the assessment centre is Seplat (I guess operational issues, like ensuring things/structure in ANOH are well in place before reaching out) to candidates.

Because we wrote that test almost three months ago now, and frankly I don't think we were more than 100 people that wrote the test. Sifting through who will go through or not should not be hard since it is a computer based test with instant results. I don't understand what the hold up is about.
The names are ready long time ago.

The delay is from Seplat. Anytime they are ready, they will call us.

It is going to 3 months now and the wait is tiring.

The recruitment is for entry level (business/engineering inclined graduates as posted in the advert). It is to infuse new/young brains and energy into the system (reason it came with some stringent requirements) and of course boost organization's productivity.

The use of accelerate. The Graduate accelerated Programme is more like a fast-tracked GT programme. In an IOC like shell, it takes 2-5yrs to complete GT training depending on the job role, some oil firms GT programme takes 3years. So Oando is simply saying we will fast track your training (commit more resources into it) such that the duration will be 18 months.

The recruitment is for both upstream and downstream.

The gross pay is 5million+, d person I asked didn't give the exact.

Only Oando HR can answer when the recruitment process will be concluded.

Someone people are already in the on site test which holds on the 21st. So I believe you guys will be rushed so that you guys can all do the online test together..

So you will likely get feedback before the end of this week for the 20mins test
Second online test likely to be next week Sunday.

Cos it was stated on the invite mail those successful from the two online tests will be invited for Onsite test on 21st.

BTW the time sped like a rocket.

Quite interesting seeing that they screened someone with 7A1s and 2 first class degrees in electrical engineering & 23 years old - surely it couldn't have been about profile, maybe graduation year. PS this person graduated december 2016 from bachelors
Workforce looks like a confused body to me. The two friends graduated October 2015 and have C majorly in O level.

That guy you described up there meets all the requirements clearly.

I had/know two civil friends that got test invite. Maybe they screened out some selected civil and Electrical due to the huge number of applicants with these two courses.... Just maybe.

The last time I called (Jan 9th), the lady that picked the call said no updates yet from Seplat and once they give the go-ahead, they will invite people for AC. The narrative might have changed though.

The number to call is in the mail that invited us for test.

The general practice of any standard organization is to recruit young graduates and train them for a period. They are called graduate trainees (entry level) and will undergo the program for a scheduled time frame. During that time they will also be working as some task will be delegated to them and be appraised accordingly. More like, they are on probation.

At the end of the period, a performance review is done. Those found satisfactory will be confirmed as full staff (guaranteed) while those who didn't meet the benchmark will be let go off.

No organization will train you for 18 months (some sort of investment) and discard away with you if your performance is satisfactory. The GAP is more like a fast-tracked GT programme. In an IOC like shell, it takes 2-5yrs to complete GT training depending on the job role.

This reason is why there is always a stringent recruitment process to get the best hands for the training so that the investment won't go down the drain.
