How is your stay in Canada going? I landed here September and I must say the winter has been very cold. And yes, things are expensive, so any Nigerian who wants to come here should bear that in mind. To get a haircut from a salon is about 5000 Naira, etc. well just giving you an example. Its not bed and roses, you have to work your butt off. God strength to every Nigerian who wants to excel in good.

i think the recent increase in bandwidth for starcomms is due to the fact that a lot of their customers have defected to either mtn or zain. im praying for more defectees cos 100kb/s-300kb/s download speed is becoming inadequate.

for real, internet connection sharing is da bomb, specially if ur wlan is good. cant wait for glo1 so i cud say GOODBYE to all them fourth generation networks.

of cos, u cn use starcomms with freedom, but ul pay for ur normal starcomms subscription. wht im tryna say is tht the speed is faster and your freedom also enhances the network whn ther is poor reception. was getting 0kbs without freedom but nw im browsing at the usual 71kbs with freedom. but with a paid freedom account, the speed is much faster,

the fault might also be from your charger. test the charger on another laptop and if its ok then see a technician.

sorry my bad. i meant N72 is a 2G phone and has edge so he cud get a speed of 236.8kbps or thereabout. by the way, edge is available in PH but not steady.

MTN is 2g and has edge so u can be assured of a speed of 236.8kbs which is ok. goodluck.

the truth is that scamming is relatively new in nigeria unlike the united states. i can still remember days of filling visa lottery forms, trying to claim free prizes online where ull have to pay huge sums via credit card and lots more. Nigeria is now taking the fall for a crime that has been and is still going on in other countries.  MTN also uses a lot of scam techniques to make money. what with all the game shows going on such as the one they show on NTA where ull have to answer some really easy questions but ur call never gets through. that is so scam and i think such things should be banned. i lost quite a couple of cash due to my ignorance and now i wont even lay a finger to touch anything mtn does. trying to play on peoples ignorance to make easy money is wrong and mtn is guilty of this.
