Surgery or no surgery, do not cancel your wedding to the lady you loved simply because of fibroid. The truth is fibroid is common with african women and do not mean that they can not conceive ( neither do surgery particularly prevent the growth of another fibroitic tissues) My experience, i married a wonderful lady with what can be termed big intra uterine fibroids (102mm X 53mm and 41mm X 23mm). she took in after the wedding despite the fibroids, we were concerned about space for the fetus growth but God took absolutely control and today I am a proud Father. The only snag was she had to deliver by CS since the position of the fibroid could not allow for natural delivery. so you see, having fibroid is not a license that a lady would be barren. Nigeria is no El dorado, but this ranking of Nigeria is grossly wrong. Tell me how can Libya, Syrian, and Yemen all in different stages of being war-torn be rated better than Nigeria. This is not an objective or factual list. It should be taken with a pinch of salt. Whie Syrian is curiously rated 48, Libya is not even on the list of so called failed states meanwhile Isreal ranks 54 on list. Another man of great talent had just gone, it is a pity that the earth need such men than heaven does. but we take solace that he left an enviable legacy. I am particularly impressed by his uniqueness as shown in the different architectural master-piece of all GT banks in an era when other banks were rolling out dull replicas. His input in the "Debaters" TVshow is also commendable. Above all he kept a low-profile. Humility is an endagered virtue, it is heart warming that someone of his calibre tends to preserve it. I subscribed to their BB and when I discovered that their BB is a sham, I called their customer care and requested that my BB service be susPended. I changed to glo BB and I've been enjoying their service but. I now use my MTN on my chinco fone which is not wap enabled but MTN still charge me 3k for BB which I no longer use despite series of calls to their customer care who confirmed my BB has been suspended since 3 months ago. I have sent my new Airtel number to my clients and will soon destroy their sim card. Imagine being charged 9k for a service U've suspended and never used. These guys are fraudsters.[/quote][/quote] |

For someone outside the christian faith (who is not ready to tap into the divine resources at the behest of a christian), his best bet is good project management. manage your life as a project, always documenting lessons learnt and doing iteration of your PM plans, but whether it is worth it, using ones life as an experiement of trial and error is solely a matter of personal opinion which boils down to your choice again. |

One can be destined to be great in life but end up a nonentity by the poor choices he made a good example is Samson in the bible who though destined to save the israel nation from the philistines Judges 13:5 ended up a prisoner of the same philistines due to his reckless way of life and choices. On the other hand is Jabez, whose own mother condemned to a life sorrow but dust himself up, challenged the status quo and ended up a most honourable individual in his lifetime I Chron 4:9-10. What am saying in essence is that destiny is at the mercy of the choices we made. if you are going to Kaduna for instance to visit your grannies but on getting to the car park joined a bus (choice) going to Enugu. no matter how much you wish or shout in the bus, you will end up in Enugu, because by your choice you have joined yourself to a predestination-which is Enugu in this case despite your setting out to reach Kaduna. Saying there is no predestination is denying the obvious or living in denial but saying we are helpless in the sight of predestination is equating life on this terrestial plane to that of robots- which definitely is not the case. In summary by our own choice we chose our destiny and by our own choices we can change our destiny either for good or for bad. [/b] |

Yes, the much talked about royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton (now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge among other titles) have come and gone but the memories will linger on for some time to come. I made some observations; some of which were exctings and other down right disappointing during this wedding as follows. What do you make of these observations and what other observations did you noticed as England future King take a step closer to the throne. THE EXCITING OBSERVATIONS. 1.The timeliness and time consciousness was militarily precise. no waste of time, the processions of guests, to the Queen, the Groom and the Bride went like a clock work emphasizing the age long saying, Punctuality is the soul of business 2. Despite the royalty touch and abundance of resources, the entourage were kept very simple. No excessive show of wealth in guest cars and wears. Most royal family even arrive by buses 3. The service was another clock work piece. no waste of precious time. Immediately the Bride arrived, the business of solemnization of matrimony began. 4. I must confess the Vow part thrilled me most. It was for better for worse, for richer for poorer; in sickness and in health (which indeed is the reality) not the nonsense of, for better for best, for richer for abundance, In health and divine health that most pentecostal churches now use for wedding. 5. Despite the scandals associated with the royal family in recent years, the british peole stilll love their monarchy tradition and will go to any lenght to preserve it. THE UGLY OBSERVATIONS. 1. Williams only give kate wedding ring but failed to receive his form her as expected. Why? 2. Both William and Kate, we are told have been live-in lovers since June 2010 (cohabiting ). what is this, Royal cheats or Royal fornicators? 3. Desptite being under intense pressure already both decide to officially invite their Exes to their wedding. didnt they know that old flames do not die easily. talk of a recipe for disaster. 4. The Wedding Invitation of Ambassdor from syrian was cancelled the night before the wedding, why send the invitation in the first place; knowing fully well that the crisis in Syria had been ongoing for several weeks now- an excuse they gave for the cancellation of his invitation. Okay let me stop here, for others to bring on their observations. |

Human beings were created a free moral agent by God and will ever remain so, Just as God can not be held responsible for the evils of his creatures (having given all the will to choose and follow his desires) so also Buhari and more so Bakare can not be held accountable for the barbaric behaviour of some sects in the North, without any iota of evidence supporting the call and instigation of these violence by either Buhari or Pastor Bakare. No doubt Bakare forays into the murky waters of Nigerian politics and the manner he went about it disappointed many Christians who felt he had stoop from a higher calling to answer a popular call yet the sincerity of his motives and courage is something to appauld. Issues must be separated from personality. Ironically the real victims in this case are the Pastors, Revrends, GOs, etc who are being deified and idolised. Many of them set out innocently to do the work of God but are suck into the quick sand of men praise and adulations and helplessly can not get out again. Let see how Jesus responds to such in John 6:14-15 "Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said; This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world. When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force , to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain alone". Also Paul in Acts 14:11-19 face similar situation and confronted likewise. The truth is that the same people who frown at others idolising a Pastor will either do the same for thier favourite Pastor or outrightly show rudeness and disrespect for other Pastors.(another extreme end) While I was in Higher institution, i was made the President of one of the biggest christian student union on campus and i must confess, so many unforeseen "problems" arose for me like my fellow brothers would want to do my laundry for me, I mean even guys in the same level with me. The ladies or shall i say sisters case is another kettle of fish all together, nothing is too much for them to do -from bringing food in coolers (Cooler ministry  ) to even tidying my room, when yours sincerely is not married or dating any one of them. meanwhile the only crime i committed to warrant this idolising is am priviledge enough to be made a President. Lest I forget, people stop calling my name and prefer to use fanciful titles instead, even some of my lecturers joined in the use of fanciful titles to address me rather than my first name!If all this can happen in a school campus, then you can imagine the kind of pressure these pastors and GOs are exposed to on a daily basis but unlike Jesus and Apostle Paul, they got sucked in and find it difficult to extricate themselves. they suddenly got that feeling that they are faultless, better than every other person and cannot entertain criticism again no matter how constructive they may be. The pulpit then become a spotlight where they; the superstar come to perform and show off rather than the place of spiritual service to our God. A real and true Christian will know that the veil had been broken and no pastor or Revrend hold the key to appproaching God hence none is worthy of idolising. Jesus only is our mediator and advocate. Let me proffer some tips on how to avoid this cancer in the body of Christ. 1. Faith should be in Christ and not in the Pastors, hence do not take every thing your pastor say hook line and sinker, rather judge it in the light of the scripture 2. Address your Pastor using thier name i.e pastor Ade and once in a while use brother Ade, they may be shocked but you are helping them to be in touch with reality and not get carried away, afterall we are brethen in Christ. 3. Maintain a healthy distance from them and do not turn them to God where you heap all your problems afterall they are human like you and have their own challenges also. 4. Never be intimidated to disagree with them openly or otherwise when they say or do something you believe is wrong by scripture standard 5. Never imitate them or their lifestyles. be yourself and the best imitatator of Christ you can be. |
