Extrinsically, Yes! women are more religious than men, but intrinsically No! most acclaimed religious women are shallow, like a river 600 metres wide but 6 inches deep. most display by women in religion are nothing but show-womanship (if there is any word like that) That is not to say however that all women are shallow religiously or spiritually and neither does it trasnlate that all religious men are deep or genuine but you stand a better chance of getting a genuinely religious man than a woman in even a congregation of 10,000 women. |

This is quite unfortunate and shows the level of degradation Nigerian politicians will go to, in ripping off unsuspecting masses of both the common wealth of the nation as well as their hard earned money by cleverly disguised scams. But truth must be told that this kind of scam has been with us for long, anybody who had participated in any of the recruitment exercises of the Military- Navy, Army, Airforce ( which by the way is becoming a yearly event) will testify that it is nothing but a scam meant to raise illegitimate money for the military (God have mercy, no honour even among the military!) as only a tiny minority are shortlisted from the teeming numbers who bought their scratch cards and majority of those shortlisted neither bought the scratch card nor sit for any exams but are hand picked by the senior members of the military. I weep for this nation 10,000 jobs ko, 10,000 mugu ni! |

Truth be told, this is a worrisome trend and it portray the decadence and level of materialism that have crept stealthily into the church. while conceding the fact that not all these Father/son pastoring arrangement is ochestrated by man's greed for control and material wealth; Lets us all take solace in Christ word in Matt 13: 27-30 So the servants of the houoseholder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? Pre-requitisite to the kingdom of heaven is strictly guinuine Salvation John 3 :16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in lhim should not perish, but have everlasting life.[/i]Water Baptism on the other hand is NOT and NEVER is a pre-requisite to making heaven ( once a person is saved by accepting Jesus). Water Baptism is a symbolic physical act that depicts the divine transformation of death with Christ, Burial with Christ and ressurection into newness of life with Christ which already took place divinely at salvation. Rom 6:3-6 Not taking anything away from Water Baptism, it is necessary for every born-again Christian to be baptised as it was commanded by Jesus Christ [i]Matt 28:19 Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, and of the son and of the Holy Ghost. Moreso Jesus our Lord subjected himself for water baptism even though just in fulfilment of all righteousness as he is a sinless Man who experienced no salvation to depicts to the world through water baptism. [i]Matt 3: 14-15 But John forbad him, (Jesus) saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered (allowed) him.[/i] In Conclusion while a genuine believer who do not have the opportunity of water baptism will get to heaven at his death, a religious individual who only based his hope on water baptism will only go in as a dry sinner and come out a wet sinner and still stand at risk of Hell fire at his demise. Water Baptism does not Save, only acceptance and faith in Christ do. |

Acting president Jonathan Goodluck has shot his first Presidential bullet by deploring erstwhile minister of justice Michael Aondoakaa as minister of special duties and replacing him with the former minister of labour and productivity, Prince Kayode Adetokunbo. The questions now are, 1. why not just sack Aondoakaa or is this a cautious move by a fearful acting president testing the waters of his new found powers 2. what does this portend for the nation as a whole?. 4. will this not result in another legal logjam since the legality of Jonathan assuming the post of acting president is still raising dust 3. what other moves are we likely to see in the coming weeks from this man whose luck is unarguably good. |

And by the time you get there, a new twist will be added to the unfolding drama. Beware of them, and never pay any person a dime to show you a property.[color=#990000][/color] That is why Agent fee and Agreement fee is built into the package, when you eventually see what you want. Commitments, moreso marital commitments should never be coerced but lovingly and carefully undertaken. She has no right to force you into engagement or give ultimatum for you to marry her. I hate to say this but women are like Cars/Computers better & superior models are churned out yearly, so before you choose your lifetime ride, do your homework very well because unlike Cars/Computers it will be insane/improper of you to want to upgrade or change models yearly. Marriage is not overrated but mis-construed and mis-understood, the reason being that people have thrown away/ignore the manufacturer's manual (Bible) while trying to gain expertise on thid wonderful invention of God. but truth be said, you can't even get the best out of your magnificient piece of german or Japan machine without consultation with the manufacturer's manual. having said that the truth is that not everybody is cut out for marriage, and not everybody really have what it takes to stay married. if you are not quallified, do not gate-crashed. |
