congratulations to the young lady. I don't wanna sound envious of the lady remarkable feat, but it seems unilag is trying to put a narrative on Nigerian public universities general notion of mass failure of their student regardless of their intellectual capacities by being liberal and lenient on their students. 5.0 year in year out, common in the same country, same school and now in engineering faculty! common, we know better.

Can u hear yourself?but they run to countries where democracy rules! What an absurdity. They can't practice democracy because they are intolerant of reforms. Their principles are horribly rigid
do you even know the history of democracy. now your ignorance of their tradition and customs still make you the joke of the day. dude, these guys provides the west with their oils. so I don't know what you meant by running to the west.

democracy is a political ideology founded by Abraham Lincoln which so many people embraced. the results of that is what you see in Nigeria today. so I put it to you, mention those things that makes a democratic government in the west better than the monarchy system in the middle east. then we can start a conversation.

this is just a confirmation of the general notion that the ugly ones get to be brilliant and intelligent while the pretty ones are the opposite. I guess what they lack in beauty, they compensate in other department.

those girls really fall my hands. all they do is speak phonetics which is not always correct.

Obama made all these possible, thank God Hillary Clinton lost the elections, else it'd have been more in the next four years.

Pls check out my signature for quality and durable furniture
I feel for poor folks like you who condemn Obama for being a genuine democrat and a phantom of democracy.
back home, your people will never allow a non indigene to contest a local govt election not to talk of parliamentary election. imagine a refuge turned citizen winning a seat @ the senate in the US. that's the epitome of civilization and political maturity.

you can tag Obama as the villain and corrupt leaders, at least he is not as stupid as the ethnic blinded stupid Nigerians like you.

fully well known that you don't know how to put two and two together to sell your arguments, though they are still void to me. who listen to crap like that, except caveman like you.

when next the AU and the country allies and in troop, you can write a diplomatic letter from your cave to stop them..

when forces are eventually send to Gambia by AU or their allies, you can remind yourself of one dude who envisage that.

Stop thinking like a complete nonentity ,the world powers have nothing to gain in Gambia ,ur brains should have directed ur reasoning to the fact that ivory coast is very important to France because of oil and many things .so according to ur own little thinking Donal trump or other countries will send troops into little Gambia that has nothing but fish and beaches, abi? In international politics there is nothing like friends but interest. Let buhari send soldiers to Gambia and see if majority of Nigerians wont insult him
.

in as much as i would love to agree with you, your reasoning still date back to the stone age where humans still think with their anus. the whole world will fold hands to watch a massacre experience in Rwanda, ivory coast, CAR and the likes just because the place is of no interest to them even the allies to the country.

what the f**k is wrong with all these African presidents who think the office of the president is their father's throne. he had better surrender power to his successor or risk killing of his own people by the turmoil and rebellion that will follow if he did otherwise. I bet the western power are waiting around the corner for the stupid president to act stupid so they can take advantage of the situation.

as a student of university of lagos, like guys always say this WHO YOU EPP. the scumbag even call is the prestigious university like one of the ivy league I guess. a school that couldn't make 1000 list in world university ranking.

you can take solace in your glorified, self acclaim best school in Nigeria to console yourself of whatever crappy outdated syllabus you are being taught with in that your most sought after school.

even people who study physical education, history, animal pursue hunter APH, sociology and other crappy and useless courses will come out public to show they are student of UNILAG. no wonder both the stupid staff, student and alumni refused the changing of the name of the school to honour and immortalise one of their own in the southwest just because of the EGO attach to the name.

nonsense.

Lol.

First off, congrats on your successful enlistment, OP.

Note, however, that this does not in the slightest way indicates that Nigeria is headed in the right direction.

Thing is, irrespective of how greedy a man is, he doesn't toy with his safety. Much as having it all to him self is a goal all those gluttons share in common, they usually go for the best hands when it comes to their safety.

Case in point: When it comes to hiring a pilot, expertise and experience trumps all else, including religion and ethnicity. This is because they are very well aware that no matter how well your tribesman means for you, chances are that he may crash you someday if he has limited knowledge in such areas.

As a matter of fact, them hiring the best brains is an indication of continuing corruption. grin

They have felt the heat much more lately, so, have come to realize the importance of security in their kleptocratic lives. This is a demonstration of their desire to feel even more secure than the Fort Knox so that they can enjoy the proceeds of their loot in peace.

If not;

Why didn't merit matter when it came to CBN and FIRS?

Why have their kit and kin been employed into FIRS, and are on their second salaries while others have yet to be called for interviews?

Why do their children still get jobs to which openings weren't advertised?

Why do government officials fall over themselves when it comes to securing juicy appointments for their wards?

Millions of questions to ask, but the long and short of the story is that, the number of thieves and potential thieves has increased exponentially, hence the need to hire the children of the poor who have a reputation of being focused on the job to guard over they and theirs.

Your case is the positive effect of a bad practice. And I'm happy for you!
dude, your argument is pointless headless and needless. your conspiracy is more or less like the theory of some american journalist who think 9/11 was an inside job.

first, 10, 000 jobs were up for grabs at the NPF. how many were up for grabs @ the NAF, FIRS, and CBN altogether? a thousand or less?

also, the theory of using the recruited guys to to protect the elites is unfounded and implausible. so these recruits job description is to protect the elites alone and not the citizens.
the earlier we move forward as one nation seeing good in each other, the better for all of us.

apparently, there is nothing you can do as a leader to please Nigerians. a fair recruitment exercise that gave 10, 000 people job is being put up by someone as theory to protect the elite like it is only the elites that need protection.

first I say big congrats to the OP's family who got the FG job even though some clown never see it as a FG job. perhaps, their father is the one running the program.
secondly, I need to point out to some of these people who think 30k job is a ridiculous salary considering our economic situation that Rome was not built in a day and there is always a little beginning for every successful man out there.
and lastly to the most stupid guy I have come across in recent times who claim he couldn't cope with 300K a month ( his weirdest broke ass nigga imagination), i think you need a lesson or two on financial responsibility and growing up to be a man.

plus, era of selection and imposition of candidate is no long gone and BAT needs to realized that the APC is no longer a regional party where he created where amala politics is being played.
