I remember the 'Lagos girl'I met in my first year in Unilag, I was from Ibadan at that time.
She laughed at every Yoruba word I spoke because it was different from the
usual 'funky eko' Yoruba.

OP, this guy loves you. He said so with his own mouth. . . this means it is the honest to goodness truth and coupled with the fact that he is a Naija man, I tell ya, you have no problem because we all know Naija Men are the keeper of their words.

Sure he has a wife and kids at home and you his mistress see him only when he can sneak away from them and prolly in some remote flea infested motel but this doesn't mean he loves you any less.
