CelebritiesRe: Is Derele Gay? by sisimose(f): 11:22pm On Mar 04, 2007
i see, just make sure you know what you are saying and that you are not just saying it because in school you guys had suspicions or there were rumours. It is bad to be on the receiving end of a rumour i have been there.

naijacutee:
If a 17/18-year-old-living-at-home is addicted to shoving food down their throat at will, then it's either that he hasn't been trained properly in the act of accepting "NO" as an answer OR they have been neglected by their parents. Especially in the formative years, children should be trained to understand that they cannot always get everything that they crave. Even food (within reason of course)
so you telling me all those children including me and you who have been trained in our formative years to say NO to things like sex before marriage, drugs , drink etc have never broken one of such rules or training ? get real parents can do the best they can , even some people who were brought up Bishops or the most morally upright parents still do things once the strings have been cut off or even before. have you not heard of some of these muslim girls who in London cover themselves with hijab from home and when they get to school they do all sorts? well if you havent i have . It is not 100% the parents fault, especailly when there is a biological problem with the child.

I think as long as the child does not contribute towards rent, water, electricity or food, they are their parents responsibility and therefore, the parents should be held accountable for everything concerning the child. Including their weight.
i disagree
so if the child of 17 or 18 living at home, does not pay rent, water etc eats to oblivion and gets too fat that they need a crane to move him, it's his parent's fault?we know they eat stuff outside the house do you think they should be tagged by the parents? how can the parent be accountable for what a young adult shoved in his or her mouth? that is not being real at all

FamilyRe: Pregnancy Before Marriage by sisimose(f): 5:08pm On Mar 04, 2007
i am happy someone brought this up, i have been hearing many men say they want the women to get pregnant before marriage, even some Christian one do this. They say they want to check she is fertile, na wah. Even my cousin's mother adviced her to get pregnant before her wedding to make sure he was able to father kids(thank God she did get pregnant and they did get married grin tory for get K-leg). This is all crazy
FamilyRe: Is This Adultery? by sisimose(f): 5:03pm On Mar 04, 2007
IT IS ADULTERY and you are both guilty the fact he did it first makes no difference, you both need urgent talks to see where your marriage is heading, time to make some clear and final decisions. it's your beds, you two need to sort it out now.
CrimeRe: Rape And Victimization by sisimose(f): 5:00pm On Mar 04, 2007
yes Busta won't wish that on any one. It is hard for those who go through it, some do not go for any examination, for the feeling of shame or idea that they won't be believed. I think , well i pry those who get raped find the strength to report it and hopefully the wicked person can be caught. In Nigeria it's a different story though , many many women live with the trauma of rape and never report it,our justice system is non existence cry In countries like America, etc there are chances of a fair hearing, but something holds many back here too when it comes to reporting it. Do you know 4 out of every 5 rape victim knows their attacker? cry
FamilyRe: Can You Be A Full Time House Wife? by sisimose(f): 4:53pm On Mar 04, 2007
my husband is loving and we have talked about what we will do when we have kids, and we decided i stay home, he earns more than enough, if he didnt earn as much we won't do it.I mean i would go back to work soon after birth. But thank God we can afford to so i look forward to being a mummy , a stay at home one. Kudos to women who go to work with babies, but we have to be realistic, finance plays a big role, so before the man starts being totally adamant you stay home, you got to make sure you don't end up counting the pennies.  Yes i intend to be a full time house wife as soon as the babies come smiley. full time house wife and mother is a fantastic role, so is the mother who goes out to work and is able to have a balanced home

RomanceRe: Woman Tries To Trap Sterile Man With Pregnancy by sisimose(f): 2:55pm On Mar 04, 2007
cute-ass
it is a shame really, it saddens me , she is a great person but this ? embarassed, i think it was a lie she told when she was young and now her son will be messed up if he found out , she is very messed up at the moment. yes it has taught me a lesson, it is good to say the truth even if at that particular time it hurts you, it saves you from long lasting pain
RomanceRe: Woman Tries To Trap Sterile Man With Pregnancy by sisimose(f): 2:41pm On Mar 04, 2007
I am speechless after reading that . We women can be so callous  cry

This reminds me of my aunty, she has an only son whom she doted on, we all knew him to be half Igbo cause we called him by the name Nnamdi,  anyway apparently years ago my aunt told the guy she was with this igbo guy that he was the father, he never married her but always cared for the boy, sent her money non stop. I was at home recently and i saw her at my grandmothers house looking miserable, they were having some secret talks, i knew something was up, i was desparate to find out, anyway my older cousin told me quietly that Nnamdi's father came back from America and wanted to marry my aunt after all these years, he was divorced and had other kids. I guess you are thinking oh that is a nice end to the story, lol not till my cousin said he really wasn't the boy's father and that my aunt told him so all those years back because she wanted to be married and his real father didnt want to know. So my aunt was in a mess, her son has no clue his dad is not really his dad and the dad has no idea he is not his son, and now he is back wanting to marry  her , retire in Nigeria and catch up on a son he thinks he has and lost contact with. What a mess, still she has not told any of them the father or son(both still think they are related). The real father is still out there ,no one knows where and he is Yoruba. Nnamdi not only has a wrong father but also a wrong name

babsin
how can you blame the people for the demise of Ibadan amusement park? or any other venues for that matter? if you understand business you won't say this. Well if the people lost interest, then it was down to the fact that they were not getting anything for what they paid, and when this happens it is up to the owners to generate the interest, create a buzz again and get people back. Sorry that is just a case of bad business planning and mismanagement period.

We have population that could potentially be an entrepreneurs dream come true, if only people do their homework and find their market and keep it. About this hot air balloon business it is a good idea, forget superstitions and the rest , if you really want to sell your idea you can, do you know with the right promotions, etc you could literarily sell ice to an Eskimo? Sometimes we underestimate our people, Nigerians love good life even those with not much money still love to treat their family to a resort within Nigeria, i know my dad was not a millionaire but he sure treated us, we always went somewhere during the holidays, from a day at the beach to a show at the National arts theatre. Good luck with your idea , lets keep such things buzzing within Nigeria
CelebritiesRe: Is Derele Gay? by sisimose(f): 2:03pm On Mar 04, 2007
Nigerians lol

because one naija guy dresses different he is now gay, na wah
I do not think he is gay i do not think he is weird like many of you have said
He is has created a unique style for himself and i love it, very different and urban look, i think many could do with tips from him, all those who dress in the uniform jeans, shirt and shine shine shoes take note lol grin
he is lovely. Just like some are now saying kanye is gay because of his look. lol.
Lenny Kravit dresses similar to derele and he is not gay , infact he has some of the most gorgeoaus girl friends.
My people please be more open minded and try to gain exposure to the world, Not all men who appear camp are gay and not all men who appear macho are straight lol
