FamilyRe: Being The First Child In Your Family by Sissy3(f): 6:22am On Jun 01, 2010
meyri:
It great but not easy. I am the oldest girl and not married but my younger sister is. And boy do I get the insults rained on me. My mom tells me i am not setting a good example by not getting married. Older women say that I should be ashamed of myself because my younger sister has married before me.
thats sad! these kinds of situations push many women to marry drunkards, wife beaters, useless men and some even meet their death all in the name of answering "mrs"

but please dont let the pressures make you accept to marry just about anything that has a third leg smiley

HealthRe: 2 Years Old Boy Smoking! by Sissy3(mod): 6:11am On Jun 01, 2010
true. but somehow that seems to be their culture over there

A study by the child protection commission shows that between 2001 and 2007, the number of children smoking between the ages of five and nine jumped 400 percent. That is tens of thousands of cases and does not take into account children like Aldi, who are under the age of five.
i dont really see how a 2yr old could tactilful over power his parents that they will so helpless and have no other option than giving in to his cigar urges. the parents seem not be concerned about his health but about
cost of spending four dollars a day -- Aldi smokes an average of 40 cigarettes daily.
interesting enough, the parents(the mom was smoking while preg.) said they have quit smoking but the son is still on it. quite sad

Nairaland GeneralRe: Only Those That Had Been Banned by Sissy3(f): 1:43am On Jun 01, 2010
also, i had a popular movie thread that was "locked" (10months and 45K views after i opened it). . . . . . . the reason i was given by Seun was simply these 2 words "illegal thread"but when i had first opened the thread, the moderator confirmed to me that i was within the rules. i sent Seun numerous emails to get some better explanation but i never heard from him again!
maybe he was probably referring to the illegality of the sites you posted

your case was prolly maybe one of the fews but am sure theydo give reasons for any ban
Nairaland GeneralRe: Only Those That Had Been Banned by Sissy3(f): 10:35pm On May 31, 2010
the smartest thing to do should also be to give a reason for the banning so that people can avoid doing "whatever they did" in the future (IF they did anything wrong). . . . . . . . . but there again, we dont deserve an explanation.
they do give reasons

HealthRe: Hiv Before Married ? by Sissy3(mod): 9:55pm On May 28, 2010
nothing changes still. lets assume its positive its better at least your unborn child will have a greater and better chance of being protected from it

so dont let that scare you that much
HealthRe: Hiv Before Married ? by Sissy3(mod): 9:36pm On May 28, 2010
i think its good couples to be are required to do test cause many have paid due to deceit of their spouse hiding their status

its ok to be scared due to possible unknown but once you get it done, you will have some fears lifted off you. since youare going with your wife to be, you both can lend each other the emotional support you need. good luck

so i'd say read the book first
FamilyRe: Help! I'm At Crossroads. by Sissy3(f): 8:56pm On May 28, 2010
Romeo4real:
Chaircover, what kind of fantasy is this? How do we know?Well, the OP said she gave it to him. He is currently on medication for it. Or should we now disbelieve the OP?Also, the PID was found only when they paid a routine visit to the doctor.
If he gave it to her, and she made no mention of it until the routine examination discovered it, surely she would have raised hell. The fat that she didn't shows that she either gave it to him, or is not sure she gave it to him. Do bear in mind that PID infection can take anything from 3 days to 2 mths to develop.
of course thats what he would say, you expected him to come and say "oh i gave my fiancé an std and now she has PID"?

for all we know, the dude could have been the carrier. since this one side of the story give the woman the benefit of doubt
