Christianity EtcRe: Do Aliens and Vampires Really Exist? by Sista(f): 8:15am On Sep 13, 2006
@Kag

Well, apart from the trading and things of that nature, you are right, but that's what anthropologists and people that want to experience other parts of the world do
I didn't know that a part of experiencing other parts of the world meant that one was supposed to also discredit what they have learned about people and what other people say about how they acquire their knowledge. I'll have to keep that in mind. Oh and by the way, any trading that took place between white people and the Dogon was initiated by white people. If the Dogon initiated any trading, don't you think they would have asked for one of them telescopes? grin

Yes the Greeks were renown for their acceptance, I gave reports of the Library of Alexandria as an example. By all accounts, the library openly referenced Egyptians and their influence.
The only thing the Greeks accepted was their felt right to steal, plunder and plagiarize.

By the way, before Alexander burned down that library in Egypt, what was the name of it before he put his name on it? Alexander sure as hell ain't no African name. If one is accepting towards others, does that mean one disrespects the one he was taught by? Hmm

If indeed he did learn from Imhotep, then his not mentioning his teacher is probably an oversight that many people, both black and white, are guilty. You wouldn't happen to know the names of the teachers that influenced the Black people in that list of Black inventors you gave, would you?
If indeed? Nope sorry, Yes indeed he did learn from Imhotep. he was not directly taught by Imhotep his self but Imhotep is the original father of medicine. Therefore, all doctors have been influenced by Imhotep. Not mentioning that was a part of the plan to claim medicine as his own bright idea. I purposely forgot to mention that Imhotep was the inventor of mathematics as well. Imhotep was the worlds first genius. Did Pythagoras forget to mention that as well? And, did white people forget that in their his-story books as well?

Nope, black people are not to blame for the over sight, white people are because they are the ones who tell the lie that Hippocrates is the father of medicine when everyone knows that Egypt predates everything in Rome and Greece. History is exactly what it conveys, His-Story, the white mans version of the story of life and his story is full of lies.  If you read any books by black people you would know that books have been written by black scholars telling the truth about who Imhotep was. Right now there is a website put up by Mary Lefkowiz a woman to discredit a black man who was killed because he wrote the truth. If you care to put it to a test here is the name of the book
"Stolen Legacy" by George G.M James. Here is another book "Blacked out through white wash" by Suzar. As a white man you would never look for books written by black scholars because to you white people are the only ones entitled to and objective point of view about everyone else.

By the way, I don't think he conferred the accolades on himself, history did that.
Like I said history is exactly what it conveys His-Story the white mans story about his bias views.

LoL

We have to do our best to cover all of our bases Drusilla,

If he did ever know them, he would know that you were not ever really in love with him but were using him for financial reasons.
@uju4eva

To add to that, if he is a broke white man, he would have understood that you were just a confused sistah who got caught up and only got with him becasue you fell for the hype white people push.

@ Drusilla

You know we got some African sistahs out here getting with broke white men these days saying foolish things like  "We love each other" or  "I am not a racist, I love everybody"
PoliticsRe: What Would You Do To Improve Nigeria If You Were The President by Sista(f): 4:57am On Sep 13, 2006
I would stop spoiling Europeans with foreign trade. Europeans are not paying top dollar because Nigeria government does no demand it . Europeans are to busy with their hands in the cookie jars of other people so they do not truly respect Nigeria and what Nigeria has to offer. Nigerian government is to busy trying to appeal to Europeans and they will do anything to be good friends with Europeans including cutting them deals that do not benefit Nigeria as a whole, but only benefits the running government in terms of partnering.

If I were the president of Nigeria, I would retrain Nigerian government and the training would revolve around considering Nigeria as a whole.

Follow your heart, don't listen to stereo types or those who believe stereotypes.
Drusilla you are forgetting this sister is only 16, she may fall in love a few times before she finds the one who is really for her. On her journey she may rebel totally against her father and fall in to the arms of a white man if you do not break it down to her the true meaning of not believing stereotypes. We don't want her to misconstrue that not listening to stereotypes means to totally open your self. You know what I mean?

You better get back here and clear this up grin

Uju, I am a A.A woman.

I am going to tell you this. You are only sixteen and in America, that means something. What it means is, you have to concentrate more so on your education than you do a man. You are youn and you are going to meet lots of guys.

In Nigeria, a girl needs to concentrate on her education also but if she is dating another Nigerian, she is more than likely supported by her father. Support makes a relationship for a young girl less of a worry because she has security. Security in knowing she does not have to give up her boyfriend because daddy approves of him.

Here in America, you don't have that support from your father when it comes to an A.A man.

Once you have finished your education, your father will always be over protective of you and interfere in your decisions but, when he sees how responsible you are, he will learn to let up on you and let you make your own decisions. At that time, even if he still disagrees with you dating a A.A man, at least he will learn to trust your decisions and keep his opinions to his self.

P.S, There is nothing wrong with dating or marrying a A.A man, I think you already know that. African man is a African man, no matter which part of the globe he resides on.

Can you tell me is there anything about your boyfriend that reminds you of a Nigerian young man?
I would just like to know if there is becasue a lot of people in nairaland want to say that A.A are so much different from Continental Africans. Enlighten us, teach us soemthing.

Looking at your pic, I could not tell if you were a A.A or a continental African.

@Gnature

A lot of those hot A A guys (not all of course) are good at sweet talking, working out, and dressing nice so
you find them very appealing. But a lot of them will become complete strangers if you ever get pregnant for them.
You are right A.A men can be some pretty good sweet talkers but that can't be any different from the way Nigerian men sweet talk. In a lot of reported cases, Nigerian men sweet talk so good, that they sweet talk their self into American citizenship, get my drift?

So, lets stop putting the A.A brothers down, I detect hating.

Black women need to watch out and use critical thinking when dating any kind of black man. And, black woman needs a brother, no matter what part of the world he was raised in.
