You do not know how grateful I am today. I could have been dead and forgotten. When I look back, I go on my knees. Just giving thanks to Jehovah God for life. Just for life. Everything else is a bonus for me. To be honest, rehab didn’t cut it for me. I don’t know how people fix their lives there but I gotta applaud those sincere-hearted professionals who endeavor to help people. Two days after a 21-day session, I was back to my vices again. My mother cried once when she saw me. I could never forget that moment. I saw photos of my older cousin. Man is done.
So, my friend did fill in the gap for me. Regular visits, texting and swimming together. Something we both love to do. I introduced him to the gym. He introduced me to a whole new people. As a victim of serial rape myself, I extend my heartfelt sympathy to you. Most people don't realise the psychological consequences of their acts on others. As for me, I knew that I had to move on after a failed suicide attempt. I am not defending him here and I am not his partner nor his father. I have met Denrele a few times and right from the height of his lunacy. We met in South Africa 2 years after meeting in Nigeria. We met roughly 10 to 15 other times in different places. I do not have his personal number but I can reach him if I truly intend to. My conversation with him was more about why he chose that lifestyle and he clearly told me that he is werey guy. He has been living that lifestyle since he was a child.
