Politics / Re: INEC Denies Akwa Ibom APC Access To Election Materials, As REC Orders Detention by size40: 7:58pm On May 16, 2015
In Rivers state, the story is the same. I suggest a very stiff penalties for RECs who refused inspection of electoral materials by parties involved in elections. like 5-10 years prison terms for RECs who tries to deny or manipulate election results This should be included in our electoral law to checkmate the excesses of state RECs. They are one of the problems to the growth of democracy in our country.
Politics / Re: Btw Jonathan & Amaechi, Who Betrayed The Niger Delta Most? by size40: 12:45pm On May 16, 2015
My Governor, Rotimi Amaechi did not betray anybody. Amaechi only stood against the injustice melted against him and the people of Rivers state by GEJ and his wife Patience, whom by far we all see as a brother and In-law. Jonathan refused to site any federal project in Rivers state because of his quarrel with one man, Amaechi. Not just Amaechi, we actually mobilised, campaigned and voted against him. Am a Rivers man. But Jonathan and his wife caused us so much pains. Jonathan betrayed our trust for him after all we did for him in 2011. Jonathan paid us with wickedness and hatred. If GEJ had won this election, by now we would have been driven out of our communities by the PDP and their supporters. Thank God Buhari won the election. In several occasions APC members were brutally attacked with police protection.

Which sane governor does this and then has the guts to tell it to the whole world. Imagine a serving elected governor kneeling down and crying before a former governor of another state.
Are u not a disgrace to nairalanders for saying this without source or pictorial evidence

The kind of things this man says with his mouth amazes me. What a shame!

Politics / Re: Buhari: The Problems Of Having An Illiterate As President by size40: 12:34pm On May 15, 2015
Yes, I prefer an illiterate Bihari to a useless Phd holder like GEJ my brother. I can see that since GEJ lost the election, majority of his supporters are still living in big pains. This pains they will live with them in the next 4 or more years to come. As from may 29th, many GEJ and PDP supporters will suffer heart attack that could result to their early demise if not properly handled. let's watch and see.

e easy to contribute money? Without money, many things wldnt have wrked. Pls, respect the lion of Ubima and the 'General' of common sense revolution. Despite all the names he was called, just like reverend mbaka, he stood his ground.

Tuale to the slayer of GEJ grin
For ur notice, my Governor, I mean Rotimi chibuike Amaechi contributed so much in bringing GEJ' govt down. Apart from the money u mentioned, Amaechi single handedly pulled those of his colleagues to APC. U remember the meeting held with Suke Lamido b4 d presidential election? What was the result after the election? As for my state Rivers state, both Wike, the PDP knows what awaits them in tribunal

All these write ups and thinking is to see how GEJ can still remain useful politically after his defeat on march 28 election. But GEJ is dead and and gone politically. he can't be back to occupy any sensitive political position again. At best, Nigeria can ask him to go and be Book Haram - FG negotiator

Politics / Re: Ameachi , A ‘general’ In Nigeria’s Revolution, Says Tinubu by size40: 7:55pm On May 14, 2015
Governor Amaechi is the man of the moment. Most people who say Amaechi couldn't deliver Rivers state to APC and Buhari should first ask themselves if there was any election in Rivers state. Why is Wike and the PDP jittery about election tribunal of Rivers state? By may 29th, there wont be mama piss, GEJ, Gesila khan to influence and manipulate anything for Wike and the PDP. By then we shall all see what's going to happen. To me as a Rivers man and many other Rivers people and Nigerians, for Amaechi to wrestle GEJ and his administration down, Amaechi is more than a "General". because Amaechi has been saying it long b4 the presidential election that he will bury GEJ and the PDP politically.
Politics / Re: Let The Ss/se Form Biafra by size40: 3:40pm On May 14, 2015
Rjasan:
I'm a niger deltan, from the SS of nigeria(delta state to be specific), i've been reading so many news on biafra lately on nairaland and it interested me so much. Should the Ibos active their biafra dream, what'll be the fate and hope of the SS? Will the south west too not cooperate with the north to frustate the common S.Southerner. This is a call to the SS let's not be quiet and allow ibos go like that, let's join them whether we feel we have the better resources and they do not. One thing I've come to realise is that whether they only engage in buying and selling, the average ibo man will survive as long as there's a will and self determination. Let's not be blind, let's not allow the fear of the unknown to prevent us from making this move or later we may be the ones calling for our own 'niger delta republic' yes our own country. Let's do this to prevent a future catastrophe. Okay, should the Ibos go, will there not be a parasitic association between the SS, SW and the North. They depend on our oil to develop their own states while in return we have little to gain from them. Should they go, what makes us think the northerners and their wife(SW) will not bestow upon us the ill treatments given to ibos. Let's think twice now, let's join and fight for biafra or we may live to regret it later and by then it may be too late.
DAZALL
Guy, pls stop this nonsense immediately. Am a Niger delta son too but I don't support ur position here. How can I/we blindly support the Igbo's with their Biafran nonsense just because GEJ our brother lost an open contest election? Think of Niger Delta Republic and not Biafra

lol.... PDP love shouting unnecessarily. If they actually won elections in those states, why crying? In my state for example, Rivers state, no election took place in ward 12/13 in the just concluded governorship and state house of assembly. yet, inec awarded votes to wike in those wards. Instead of violence, tribunal is d best place to seek justice. so the PDP should understand this.

Politics / Re: Jonathan Fooled Ndigbo On 2nd Niger Bridge, Ohanaeze Tells Buhari by size40: 7:16am On May 08, 2015
lol..... Ndigbo deceiving themselves right from independence till date. when most of us from Niger delta, particularly those of us from Rivers state were saying that GEJ is not doing anything for us, Ndigbo were praise singing GEJ's name on different pages of the newspapers on daily basis. They were busy insulting my Governor, Rotimi Amaechi. But today, GEJ has lost the election and it has dawn on them that GEJ is going home on May 29 and they are crying. As long as am concerned, GEJ has done so much for the Ndigbo including building and commissioning the second Niger bridge.

This is exactly what my riverine brothers in Rivers state would have done to have their turn in Rivers state. But they were all blinded by the lies of PDP and Jonathan's wife, patience. In less than 2 yr in Nyesom Wike's tenure, it will done on them that they made a very serious political miscalculation. Wike is my brother, both by tribe and locality, but am not supporting him because I want power to rotate in Rivers state for justice and fairness. The manner in which Wike plays his politics is not good for us. In everything, he shows too much greed and desperation.
Politics / Re: How Amaechi Ended Up Being The Biggest Loser In The APC Game-Plan! by size40: 4:44pm On Apr 22, 2015
Who are these attention seekers who always leave matters in their own dying states to talk about Rivers state and Amaechi all the time? My governor Amaechi never, I repeat, never lost anything. Amaechi work hard to set himself free from all the evil plans of GEJ , his wife and the PDP in Rivers state against Amaechi once GEJ is re elected. As it stands today, wike cannot even threaten Amaechi or even attempt to do so in Rivers state if he wike, is sworn in because by the defeat of GEJ and the PDP at the center, Wike has been reduced to size. Even Wike himself knows that. All Wike will do to last in office is to lay low and play cool because the source of his power will be out office may 29,2015.
