Hahaha, i know right? Imagine that? Nigeria firing the first shot against the US? like in what reality does these people live in? When the US is done with us, we will be back throwing spears lol. Don't wish for bad thing When they are done with us, we will all become hunter gatherers lol, without shoes or cities to speak of mekussa: I have been laughing since.... Howitzers attacking aircraft carriers? Nigeria repelling a NATO invasion?
LIKE WE ALWAYS HEAR..... SAY NO TO DRUGS |

lol, heard of the Atlantic Ocean? I think Lagos is by that right? wait for missiles to rain down on us from the sea, these people have aircraft carriers dude, they have ships, like seriously? When you see their ships heading your way in massive numbers, even the President would probably wet himself lol. They have enough fighter jets on one carrier than the entire Nigerian airforce lol, really, don't suggest we strike at the US, bad idea, not even france. NuclearBomber: Bro, are you or were you a military man?
This kind of "defeatist mentality" is not good
A squadron of long range strike jets are needed, if we are to hit foreign bases that surround us. When you knock out the bases, super powers are far away in Europe and America, how would they fight you without logistics nightmare. It becomes harder for them.
So we need to be able to knock out those bases, in a pre-emptive strike. Don't be defeatist abeg. |

There will certainly be no WW3 over Nigeria, we aren't that important to start global war, those Western countries will gang up on us, collapse the country and that's about it, WW3? Can you list any country that's gonna fight side by side with Nigeria against the West? Any country? lol, none will mount any military offensive on our behalf, they won't risk it, I mean, why support a losing battle, unless we want to dash all of our oil to Russia, and China, even so, they will not Texman21: from there to full blown WW3 |

Haha, you are funny, you are going to strike a US military base? lord have mercy on your soul. That will literally be the end of Nigeria as we know it. The response would be unreal, don't dream, will never happen, you will sit there and watch Nigeria collapse right in front of your eyes. Attack Western bases in West Africa? You gotta arm yourselves so much, that you will give the other countries a pause, but guess what, that ain't cheap, Nigeria can not afford it, not today, not in 20yrs, won't happen. Where we need to be to pose military threat to any US base in our region isn't small thing, and we are not even 1% there yet. NuclearBomber: Nigeria is surrounded with military bases of world powers. The NAF needs the long range, deep fighter/strike capability that can take out those bases if exigencies demand.
Besides, the JF-17 is not an intimidating jet. It is good for sure, but is not an air superiority fighter. It might not hold off well against the Rafale. |

Now you see why NA no get working radios when BH started( According to reports), simple radios, they left everything to rot, because there was no threat? Only to get caught pants down when BH started. One must not wait for threats to present itself, prepare for it. US have military strategy for the UK and literally every country that matters, yet they are still allies, doesn't mean they don't have plans for a potential future conflict with that same ally marvin906: it seems you have a time machine that takes you to the future.. nothing is certain |

What qualifications do you have to rate a General's performance in battle? people dey funny sha neyobills: IMO personally I would rate the commanding officer a 7 out of 10 from the video posted earlier, firstly he was commanding the troops to use RPG to dislodge the BHT location,to defeat terrorists you must also think like one and I would commend him for that.
Secondly a commander doesn't always has to hold a rifle besides there is another combatant with an AK that's covering for him and that could just be enough, besides I noticed he was trying to distract the BHT and draw the position of fire to himself so his other comrades at another position can advance while he pins down and his combatant covers for him firing back that's just my personal opinion tho,the only bane of the video is the usual over ruggedity attitude of the NA which we can see in to CO not been fully kitted however who knows maybe its an ambush as the sky is not always blue in the military, however I see nothing too pissy poor to berate the NA about in the video, that's just my own personal opinion tho. |

I'm saying y'all should stop speculating, fact is, you don't know. Unless you get direct line to the General rka2: Where did you get your info that he isn't. The soldier was just following the General and carrying a rifle because he felt like it? Please give me a break. |

And where did you get this info from? That the guy next to him was his aide and was holding his rifle? Y'all have amazing skill on here, see a tiny video, and every expert come out and tell us all what it was all about and what was happening. Or Buratai in a trench with others, looking at a certain direction, from one picture, everyone seem to know what they were looking at . Funny enough in the NTA video i just saw a few minutes ago, Buratai was in that same trench, and he was having a conversation , in a relaxed pose rka2: https://twitter.com/i/status/1251927285952737280
In this clip, you can see the commander better with his aide hold ing his rifle. Troops are lining up behind Armoured vehicles. Our keyboard commandos think war is like computer games. SMH |

And a serious country would have never allowed BH or ISWAP to get as strong as they are now, isn't that common sense? Or BH was like this overnight? And to compare NATO mission in the middle east to Nigeria fighting BH on her own soil, , this one be tragedy. |

You must have a very low opinion of yourself, there is no We. Speak for yourself, jeez light099: Alright but the most learned Nigerian is still a learner where advanced countries are, that's why we're very irrelevant where the real world is. We're like the garbage of the world and these people are only showing pity on us like a sick infact while some others like China are trying to take advantage of us. They dictate for us and control our lives. They dictate our pace and the best we can do for ourselves is to take over the lives they lived a millennium ago. All these schools, uniforms, certificates, big grammars, formality, ranks are just waste of time. The sophisticated ones among us are the lucky ones who're able to steal money and enjoy the things provided from the whites. Perhaps we should all hit the farm together with our crude oil, so we can stop wasting time, that's the only place we're relevant. |

I never miss it lol. And yes, most studios here work with actually professionals, current or retired, that's been the norm for a very long time. Even those that play cops on tv etc, forensics, you name it. Or movies with mixed martial arts, they often employ pros to show them how it's done Stargate254: Who here still watches the TV Series "SEAL Team"?
Something in that TV show just makes me feel like somewhere within the cast, producers, advisors, consultants ..etc there is an actual SEALs guy (or former operator) who works closlely with the staff who make this tv show. You can just see it in the series, how the move and the tactics they use when clearing a room, raiding a house, how they set charges on a door or an entry point..... etc Its not like many other hollywood shows on that front where even a regular guy like me, with no military background, can spot simple mistakes or notice how many of the scenes are too unrealistic in the real world.
Especially season 3,there is real maturity in the quality of work |

Guess you are talking about suppressive fire Whyem15: The terrorist won't move unless they are sure the soldiers are helplessly pined down. If some of the soldiers shoot continuously towards the direction of the first attack, terrorist not seeing them would have the impression that the troops are more than they estimated or might have been reinforced. There is no point in conserving bullets when you are being surrounded. Militants in the Syria and Iraq who are in supporting the government's fight against ISIS have been the most effective forces in the fight because they employ these terrorist tactics and are always on the offensive. |

Firing their weapons sporadically while being flanked, without seeing what they are shooting at? even if they did. Why does that sound like a bad idea. I mean, so they run out of bullets, then what? I would think that's the point you conserve your armo, not waste it |

And in another video, according to translation, he said his troops must never leave Nigerian troops alone with the weapons cache they just seized from BH, in other words saying we might lose them again and gift them to bh lol, weird huh. I thought those weapons are in Chadian custody SamuelAnyawu: He will continually use us to shine until our leaders and top military brats apply common sense.
Imagine intimidating us that we should hold forth our own territory. I do not blame him anyway because our Leaders are enjoying this unnecessary NE War. |

Wasn't saying you are wrong lol. But wait, what made this racist? Funny how we say something like that right? Now what would you say about those black Africans who are busy lacing their own and burning them to death? Or beating them to death with rocks and sticks, is that racist? But we tend to see things as racist that moment the skin colors are different, or nationality . We do worse to one another than what's seen in that video, therefore i will not jump to any conclusion and call it racist. Just another jungle justice video, have you seen what those same Chinese do to one another? Shoot, the internet is full of videos of chinese people stripping and beating their own into a pulp, is that also racist? jln115: Look im not saying its not a racist incident......however its not due to the Corona virus coming from Africa........otherwise they would've attacked all the African dudes! |

Right? especially when we have no idea what led to this, but automatically it has to be over the virus. Watch the video, and you see the other black guys are even pleading on his behalf, saying "Please" to the attackers, if am to guess, I'd say the man was suspected of committing a crime, i mean, no one in that vid is even wearing a mask jln115: why is it that only one of them was attacked? And not the other Africans in the video? |
