Meaning for it to have fallen so fast everyone in the SE or SS didnt support the clowns in their effort for biafra.

As ocelot2006 said

@ Onlytruth, you are SO WRONG on the Ibibios & Efiks being full Biafran supporters. On the contrary, we had ABSOLUTELY NO LOVE for the biafrans, gave full support & fought on the federal side (Nigeria). If we were so loyal to that failure called biafra, how come the southern region fell so fast? Even my uncle fought with the 3rd Marine Commando Div. against the biafrans, rooting out those fools from the region.

PoliticsRe: Yoruba Leaders Unite, Float Umbrella Body by sjeezy8: 3:34pm On Jan 16, 2010
Yoruba culturally are great from west Nigeria to togo into east ghana. NO doubt

All these talks about yoruba nationalist can do great harm to yorubas, just as biafran people are doing to igbos on the political scene.
AC didnt show up because its the main opposition party and its not a good image for Tinubu, Fashola and co . . . (I wouldnt have attended either)

while Nigeria exist and yorubas are apart of it - SW politicians shouldnt be seen in yoruba only functions. Yorubas in general need to be seen as  Soyinkas, Ganis, Felas, Fasholas, Herbert macauleys, Ajayi crowthers etc . .

All non igbos should leave this topic alone its getting old. Say the country does split there will always be discord between some tribes at one point or another so leave it be.

Beaf:
Welcome to 9ja, I've been keeping an eye on you on the thread. Well done! Stick to your people pretty babe, 9ja is 100% f'ucked and everyones needs to either get out or sit down and talk about how or if they want to live under one country, because tribalism causes some to be treated worse than slaves. I feel sad that we have finally corrupted you, but o well! It's sad reality, you can see how the Northerners don't want to hand power to Goodluck Jonathan. Instead, the country is moving toward the brink and they don't care (as long as oil money flows into their cursed pockets).
Stop blaming the north for not handing power over to Goodluck Jonathan, its getting played out. SS govenors are f cukin up also and THEY want to be president and not goodluck.

Acting President: S-South and Jonathan!

But there is a great concern in the region over the stand of the governors and leaders, as the interpretation many gave to their action was that they decided to sacrifice the interest of the South-South and dump Dr. Jonathan because of their personal political interests.

Undoing S-South
A worried Comrade Evah told Saturday Vanguard, “Those politicians from the South-South who are plotting against Jonathan think they are undoing him but they are wrong,  they are undoing the South-South zone, which has the chance of producing a president and maybe, righting some wrongs within the period.

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2010/01/16/acting-president-s-south-and-jonathan/
You always talk like a f u c king fool- northerners this and that- shut the bleep up and see that is your own region thats messing up also, because  SS Govs want to be the first president from the south-south and not Goodluck.

Fool never make sense, hes not a tribalist, just a regionalist ode! always blaming other regions.
Talk about southern UNITY even in the SS your govenors are not supporting him becoming president talkless of the Northerners (foolish boy you no get brain atall)

You are a fool, your picture speaks volume. I thought you were struggling for a nation of your own, oh ! now you want Niger Delta along with your sorry backside. . LOL . .  We prefer the status-quo than going with you selfish idiots. We can cannot move from one oppression to another, we want a country  of our own.

And how do you define a freedom fighter, that misled you into a way and ran when the heat was on CAME back years later and negotiated with the same people he fought against, Ojukwu should be your worst enemy because he is even part of the present government indirectly. Receiving bribe from the people he fought . . . good definition of a coward

Nigeria has helped many african countries. Thats why its called a regional power, without Nigeria the whole west africa would be on fire.

Onlytruth:
@All
So can we get back to the topic now?

Yorubas would do well by staying away from this discussion. This topic is really for the Igbos and other former easterners. We need to ask ourselves some hard questions about our loyalty to one another in the old east. This should help us navigate the future.
Ojukwu fought for the east (Biafra). Was it better he never fought at all? If yes, what were the likely political scenarios to emerge post 1967? If a similar situation arises again, what should Igbos do?
great no problem just dont abuse yoruba people while youre at it.

If the Igbos are jealous of you guys, why didnt your poor tribe men allow them to secede. This single acts shows that the Igbios are the rock of Gibraltar of the entity called Nigeria.
You are the rock indeed, so stay there and remain in your place. and stop whining actually make some political moves- all anyone sees is fighting words

this thread shoiuld be locked its getting old

conclusion
1)Igbos are divided some want to have ND and some dont, some want riverstate Oil and some want to pay ijaw for access to seaport . lol jk
2) Niger deltans cant be a country on their own, we all know that. lol
3) If Nigeria was to break up there will most  likely by MEND fighting for totally control of whatever land is occupied by any republic that has ijaw as minority. like its doing now.
4)ijaws want an ND republic and want to fight for it so they can be the dominant ethnic group in a ND republic.
5)Its best Nigeria stays together and look for better leadershipaside from tribe because if it breaks the south of Nigeria will have series of wars between ethnic groups over land and oil. which isnt good

I know that some ND areas speak and claim to be Igbos. Like the Opobo areas. They are close to the Ocean.
If they don't want to Join Biafra, We will negotiate our way through their ports to the international waters. No be Cash kill am? If I find it difficult to export my products, I will enter into the Niger-delta and invest heavily in any of the ports in Opobo, Calabar, Oron etc. They will sell it or concession them once they see too much of free money.

My point remains that being landlocked or not depends on the refusal of ND Igbos to Join Biafra. From all indications, most of them will join. They are all playing active parts in Ohaneze ndigbo, infact the current president is from Delta state.
Even if they don't want to  join, it will only be a mild constraint, not a major obstacle. There will always be a way.
igboland in delta state doesnt stretch to the sea ijaws urhobos and itsekiris are there.
Im sure you can work something about though. . . . probably not

from this

That the Ijaw Nations strongly recommends that eight ( 8 geo-political zones be created in the country as follows: (a) North-East, (b) North-West, (c) North-Central, (d) East, (e) West, (f) South-West comprising Delta, Anioma and Edo States, (g) South-East comprising New Rivers , Akwa Ibom (including Ibeno and Eastern Obolo Local Government Areas and Cross River States, (h) South-South comprising Bayelsa, oil Rivers, Torube and Itsekiri States subject to the proviso that the proposed States within the proposed zones can opt out of any particular zone in preference for another.

Who told you that Biafra will be landlocked?
Why the heck do you guys keep repeating that Igbos want the ND?!!!! For What?!!!! We have never depended on oil for God's sake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We need a working Society, NOT OIL! Singapore doesn't have oil. Yet the country is one of the most developed countries in the World.
We have the IQ and people that can build Biafra into a first world country in a short time with massive financial and intellectual investments.
Stop this Niger-delta and Oil crap!
What is biafra if the ijaws efiks ogoni and co . . . dont want to join biafra? Its landlocked right! ok then simply said.

No big deal, just face the facts and stop living in la la land.
PoliticsRe: Why Are The Ibos Hell Bent On Claiming The Niger Delta Even Tho It Aint Theirs by sjeezy8: 3:45pm On Jan 15, 2010
haha funny comments I know the igbos dont want to be landlocked but also its about the Oil.

If the igbos had good intention about biafra then they would leave the Crossriver,Akwaibom, maybe and rivers state.
The ijaws are complaining that the igbos have migrated to rivers state and imposed themselves on the ogoni and ijaws. (from what some say)
I dont ever hear any "we are all brothers" from calabars ijaws or efiks, ogonis, i only hear it from igbos maybe because of Oil or the fact that they are landlocked.
Abacha along with his boyboy ojuwku killed Ken saro wiwa, the same thing that fool complained the govt is doing to igbos, he did to the ogonis for being anti Biafra.

Ken Saro-Wiwa was no lover of Biafra- dont fool yourselves let the ND be on their own.
PoliticsRe: North And South Of Nigeria Are Inseparable - Bakare by sjeezy8: 2:44pm On Jan 15, 2010
I never attacked the ND I simply stated the facts if Nigeria was to split north and south, there will be no south republic.

Yorubas will go their way and the others will go their own way. Like Theres no southern unity, so why force one?
Funny people complaining about muslim vs christians when South Nigeria has ethnic clashes also. lmfao

Please Yorubas should make their own country by themselves and not take any ND parts unless they join willingly and they should be oduduwa related ONLY.
Awo was against forcing tribes together and I agree

I dont agree with only having arewa biafra and odua because it should be a ND for the deltans. Yorubas never like the idea or being with other tribes in the first place, so lets keep it that way.

If Nigeria is to break up North and south
Yorubas definately will go their way, igbos will go their own way, ND will have a series or wars within themselves over whos land is whos, over who voted for who, what tribe is dominant etc . . .( they cant even organize themselves now)

Thats just common sense.
PoliticsRe: North And South Of Nigeria Are Inseparable - Bakare by sjeezy8: 12:20am On Jan 15, 2010
We already kno the north is crap with out south

The guy is correct the south wont survive because out of south Nigeria, will emerge different republics based on ethnicity.
Why in the world would any sensible tribe want to stay in "South Nigeria", when they can have their own country based on ethnicity?

I think its high time the south stop blaming the north for everything. Those in the SS are asking Goodluck not to step up as president aswell.

So dont blame the north for the souths foolish and short sightedness.
Country full of clowns, always placing blame elsewhere but their own people
