Anyway, @officialwdhtv If you want to monitoze your channel, it might need total overhauling because they won't let you into the YPP for reused content. Look into it.
Deepocean: Your answer is wrong. Correct yourself. Remember you have two options and you have chosen one out of the two options.
Smart ass. No counter point, just insult. Clap for yourself.
This is an open forum not an exam hall so check yourself with a mental professional to find out why you are setting exam questions online with your imaginary qualifications.
Deepocean: I'm sorry to ask you this question. Considering what you wrote here, I would like to ask if you are mentally fit/stable?
Please, just answer yes or no, I don't like story.
Yes I am mentally fit and experience, are you?
It is a fact. Go to any developed foreign countries, I have NEVER seen a female official be it German former chancellor or USA former Secretary & former First Lady wearing non sense like Better Edu or most of our pastors wives. I know it hurts because you love some of these mamas but it is facts. Once they start wearing ugly design shit, their priority is wrong. You can apoint them, just don't give them access to billions.
You think a normal person would push half a billion naira in just 3 months of getting a new appointment? I am telling you these are one of the signs that "dem no well". Take it or leave it.
tyup: That's why I laugh at those Ignorant folks who thinks if Obi were President, he would have ended Insecurities in just months (Obi will be killed like a lonely fowl bfr he blinks a lid). This Fight is bigger than the President himself and it'd take so much wisdom to end Insecurity in Nigeria which the only two ways is;
1. Silent taking out; Just like the Mossad, some faction of the DSS or NIA should be trained extensively on how to take out key people silently (biological undercover that seem natural) especially.
2. Planned Military coup; An arrangement btwn the President and maybe the President's ADC or CDS and after the Military has taken over, go brutal on terror financiers and wigs against Nigeria's development
If this isn't done, we'd just be revolving round same circle, day in day out with no solution in sight
Obi would be impeached rather than killed. If our president is killed, the perpetrators must be found and killed too.
oluwaseyi0: when they are meant to talk during Buhari they keep mum
Now Tinubu is continuing from Bubu
I remember when religious leaders were a little bit smart.
Under the Muslim Buhari's 8 years, they kept quiet... Under the Muslim Tinubu's 8 months they have cried twice (last week Tinubu had a private meeting with them). Someone should tell them that they are about to empower the agitation of Yoruba Independent Nation.
Kevineleven: After the ramsome was paid, they held the victims for another ten days, why? They know that as long as they still have the victims the soldiers will not attack them, so they bought time with the victims, i think the soldiers found the victims in the forest searching for a way home, that's a rescue, but the terrorists were long gone .
Those kidnappers knew what they are doing and would kidnap again. They had to confirm that they and their millions were safe.
Fujiyama: ^^^ At least you agree it is a shameful matter.
It is a shameful matter that in a country with a standing army, there can be such a complete breakdown of internal security.
They were 'working round the clock'...'determined to fight to death'...and still the family lost a member and a ransom of over N100m was reportedly paid.
It doesn't add up.
Shameful (under the nose of all the military might in Abuja and Kaduna).
Individual family paid the kidnappers against police advice because the experience kidnappers sent a message by tactically killing some of their victims... That doesn't mean no one was searching for the victims (especially as their was already one failed rescue attempt).
Mzwabantu: The Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, has escalated the case of a female soldier allegedly abused by some senior officers.
In a now-viral video, a female soldier of the Nigerian Army, Ruth Ogunleye, had accused a colonel and two other senior officers of sexual harassment, intimidation and threat to life.
Ogunleye alleged that the colonel frustrated her life after she rejected his sexual advances and threatened to dismiss her from the army.
She said the colonel deliberately stigmatised her with mental illness each time she reported him to his superiors, forcefully locked her up in a psychiatric hospital and stopped her salary in February 2023.
But in a statement issued by her media aide, Ohaeri Joseph, the minister said she visited the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Taoreed Lagbaja, at the high command in Abuja over the case.
After the visit to the army chief, the minister said she was adequately updated on the efforts the army has put in place towards resolving the matter. and also visited Ogunleye.
The minister said she was also informed with documented evidence that the lady’s salary was never stopped as she was paid up to December 2023.
Kennedy-Ohanenye, however, commended the army chief and the top management for their efforts towards handling the matter.
The statement reads: “I am happy to have met the Chief of Army Staff with his top management and must commend their collective efforts towards handling this matter.
“My visit is pursuant to the mandate which the Women Affairs Ministry has to promote the interest of every woman in Nigeria and I have received strong assurances from the Chief of Army Staff concerning this matter, who has equally detailed some senior officers to accompany me to visit Miss Ogunleye, I interacted with her and I am optimistic that the outcome will be fine.”
I hope they accused of having bipolar (at least she will have her life).
amaridigital: Hope they are not going to give her the king David treatment in Abuja by sending her to the kidnappers jungle? I heard thousands of kidnappers are now in the Abuja forest.
Kidnappers are in Kaduna (a state near Abuja) with their Oga Gumi.
It is in Kaduna they pay ransom (under the nose of the military).
PastorOku: You don't know military. You will think there is enjoyment in that uniform until you try it. Jejely dey enjoy your civilian life.
One of the reasons most young soldiers dress weird is because they are damaged (they're not normal). They sweep too many things under to ruge until it compile into a monster... That is why, if a soldier really cares about the mind set of his family, he will rent house off barracks for his family (to avoid that influence).
It is expected that the PRO shouls know better. Must you tell the public the details of how you apprehended the suspects? You have just succeeded in making like minded criminals wiser in their subsequent plannings and operations
Just like internet scam. The wannabes would get caught while the professionals would never be on any ones raider.
Ransom was paid BUT our military was not asleep during those time period (as usual). These photos might all be from last week (these are photos of the military searching for them).
Soldier dey suffer in silence. We heard how the kidnappers killed two policemen and their uncle. So don't think these men where not working round the clock determined to fight to death for those girls freedom.
It is more than 100m they paid but let that shameful matter rest.
Kano, Kano state - There is apprehension in the air as Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) in the 2023 election, declared that the creation of the five emirates councils will “definitely be revisited”.
Kwankwaso stated that the removal of Alhaji Muhammad Lamido Sanusi II as the Emir of Kano would most likely be looked into by the current administration of Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Kwankwaso in an interview with select media platforms on Thursday evening January 18, said the NNPP government will revisit the entire matter, to correct the alleged wrongs. It would be recalled that the immediate past governor of Kano state and incumbent national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, dethroned the then Emir of Kano, Alhaji Sanusi. Sanusi is a one-time governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Commenting on the possibility of Sanusi returning as Emir of Kano, Kwankwaso, an influential politician in the state, said:
“Honestly, it is one of the things that nobody has sat with me to discuss so far but I am sure we are going to sit and see how to go about it.
“Is it going to be allowed, demolished, corrected or whatever? It will be revisited, what is supposed to be done will be done.
“So, all I know is that I was not consulted as of now but definitely we will come to discuss and see what should be done.”
Kano governor’s mother prays for Sanusi
The governor’s mother prayed that Sanusi be reinstated to the throne of his fore-bearers, ‘Gidan Dabo’.
Don’t dissolve Kano emirates, APC chieftain warns Yusuf
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_u9oUfrHpis I think it is disgraceful. They shouldn't do it and mock their tradition. Apart of the mockery of tradition, these are also religious leaders so it might escalate.
Don’t dissolve Kano emirates, APC chieftain warns Yusuf
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Kano, Alhajj Alhassan Yaryasa, has advised Governor Abba Yusuf against any attempt to sack the five Emirs in the state.
Recall that the immediate past administration of former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje created four additional emirates and sacked the former Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, and replaced him with Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero.
After the New Nigeria People’s Party defeated the APC in the 2023 governorship election, the leader of the NNPP and ex-Kano governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, had promised that the Yusuf-led NNPP administration would reverse Ganduje’s decision and restore the Kano Emirate to what it was.
“We tried not to intervene in the issue of bringing or removing any Emir, but now, an opportunity has come. Those who were given this opportunity will sit down and see the issues. They will look at what they are expected to do.
“Besides the Emir, even the emirate has been divided into five places. All these need to be studied. Usually, a leader inherits good, bad, and issues that are hard to reconcile,” Kwankwaso, who is Yusuf’s political godfather, had said early May 2023.
Speaking with The PUNCH on Thursday in Kano, Yaryasa, who was the Coordinator of the Tinubu Camping Organisation for Kano South, warned Yusuf not to go ahead with the threat to upset the Kano emirate arrangement created by Ganduje.
He said the advice was necessary in the interest of peace following recent calls on the governor to dissolve the emirates.
According to him, the governor was being pressured by some people who were bent on causing trouble in Kano and creating disaffection between the government and the people of the emirates.
Yaryasa said, “I want to advise Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to disregard such calls on him to dissolve the four emirates by some people who do not wish the state well.
“The governor is now a father to all people in the state, irrespective of political inclination. Those calling for the removal or scrapping of the emirates are enemies of the state and are doing so for their personal and selfish interests.”
Our correspondent observed that recently there were calls from some quarters on Governor Yusuf, especially on social media platforms, to dissolve the four new emirates and sack the present Kano Emir, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero and reinstate the former Emir, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II.
Yaryasa said any attempt to scrap the emirates would not augur well for the state as it would be greeted with stiff resistance, especially from the people of the emirates.
“The governor is popular but if he attempts to dissolve the new emirates, it will seriously affect his popularity.
“I want to draw his attention to the fact that traditional rulers are not political office appointees whom you can remove any time at will without committing a serious offence,” Yaryasa said.
He called on respected elders in the state to caution the governor against such plans to tamper with the new emirates, stressing any attempt to dissolve the new emirates would be resisted.
“There is an urgent need for elders in the state to advise the governor against succumbing to any pressure on the new emirates because it will not augur well for the state.
“There should be a law that would prevent politicians, especially governors and other elected political officeholders from meddling in the affairs of traditional institutions in the country.
“Politicians should respect traditional institutions, otherwise it will be rendered useless in the eyes of the society,” the APC chieftain said.
Anguldi: Employ more people in police, craackheads. New division without manpower
If government want to take responsibility, they should hire more people. Alternatively, they grant civilians right to carry firearms (if they don't want to pay salaries).
