IamDora: Anyone saying it's because their properties isn't appealing to the eyes is lying, mostly it's for privacy sake. While I was still at the University and wanted to change lodge, I packed out at night, and yes, I had lot of valubale properties, from Tv, to Dstv, to home theatre, to fridge, to A.c, to generator, to even a cushion, just name it?!
People who mostly pack out that way, just don't want people to be looking and asking you stupid questions while packing out your loads.
I once packed during the day and my neighbors questions made me forget the mat at the back of the door and gas cylinder.
May be they have jobs during the day. May be the truck was only available at night (because the driver was working during the day). May be it is privacy.
Finally Road Safety Officers don't operate at night.
Floky215: So far the most useless governor in the history of that state, who got to be governor on a platter of gold, had every opportunity to write his name in gold but rather chooses to squander it in pursuit of pipe dreams, foolishness, stupidity with his childish, arrogant, wicked and criminal acts...!!!
Even I got some of his merchandise when he was aspiring to be president. GYB.
Kogi has many intelligent sons but non reaches leadership position.
Jennyclay: Just imagine . Because of ordinary 27k . What would happen if he sent her 120k for flight
He can’t tell me he hasn’t promised and failed someone or disappointed someone before in his lifetime
The curses would definitely go back to him and his generation in 100 folds!!
Nonsense men!!
It is something to him. Try and owe those loan apps 27k for just 3days, they would not only call from morning till night but report your BVN to the Supreme Court and Unknown Gunmen... He only cursed her.
Where I live, a Keke Napep filled with YOUTHS is bad news. As much as I don't like religious police, I think this is good (they shouldn't have breathing space).
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia is becoming more circular even allowing alcohol for foreign visitors (something that Kano can not officially do).
Kano hisbah arrests 52 tricycle riders for ‘immoral haircuts’
The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested no fewer than 52 commercial tricycle operators popularly known as Yan Adaidaita Sahu over alleged “immoral haircuts”, selling illegal drugs and substances, as well as mixing opposite genders in their tricycles.
The tricycle riders were apprehended by operatives of the Hisbah Command from different parts of Kano city.
The Hisbah command had recently launched an exercise tagged “Operation Kau da Badala”, (Operation Fight Against Immorality) in a bid to sanitise the state from immoral activities such as prostitution, drug abuse, selling and consumption of alcohol among others.
The Deputy Commander-General of Hisbah, Mujahid Aminuddeen, who addressed the 52 tricycle riders on Friday, urged them to be good ambassadors of Islam and Kano State by shunning social vices.
“We want to use this opportunity to appeal to you to avoid such acts and avoid acts capable of tarnishing the image of our religion and culture of Kano people, ” he said.
He added that among the alleged offences of the tricyclists include “immoral haircuts, riding around wearing only shorts, using objectionable posters on their vehicles, mixing unrelated men and women, selling illegal drugs, and conveying women to places where they engage in immoral acts.
“As Muslims, we would not accept this behaviour and activities of the tricycle riders. That is why we brought you here to admonish you on the negative implications of these acts on our religion and culture as people of Kano.”
According to him, the board would continue to check such illegal activities among the tricyclists to arrest the recalcitrant ones.
It was gathered that the tricycle riders were taken to the board’s headquarters, where they were admonished by officials and later released.
jude79: I believe people that smoke hemp easily recognises fellow hemp smokers, this means that all forumites who claimed or gullibly accepted that oseloka obi is gay without any tangible proof, except gossip and bad Belle, are also gay themselves, qed.
The gay report is not a surprise because their was something off about the man. Till date, I have never heard his voice or seen his real age.
RockHard: Well, to each his own. But personally, I can live with the thought or idea of a poosy eating lesbian 'first daughter' than a fagget 'first son' getting his a$$ rammed.
No such things as shortage of passport booklets (The Comptroller General calmed). Despit this being the major news since December 2022 till December 2023 (blaming CBN Forex Policy).
If Glo gives quality service all year round, they would be worthy competitors. However, I remember how many times I've subscribed on my Glo sim but was unable to use it due to poor network.
Similarly, in over eight years I've never had a single issue with Stanbic Bank (owned by Standard group) but I had to stop using my Zenith and Access banks due to horrendous service.
That is free market. If you have a better product, you can succeed. If the government is not giving competitors license, then that is monopoly.
Glo rather give their media/celebrity ambassadors money than improve their services/network. I prefer Airtel for internet and MTN for calls.
It is not good to leave them in house without human interactions at least that would give them their daily dose of people.
I know POS joint that are like banks with cameras and 3 operators/cashier. You can confidently ask them to transfer a million naira (od cause the majority of POS are usually much smaller, 50k max).
How would they know that a “NIN” which is linked to a SIM-card and given to a User is a duplicated NIN.??
The third-party registration agents usually harvest the NIN of innocent individuals in their absence, and use it to register the SIM of multiple persons, and the name and details on the newly registered SIM would be that of the Original owner of the NIN Number - and this original owner of the NIN wouldn't even be aware of what the agents are doing with his/her NIN.
Then again, the person who wanted to buy a new SIM wouldn't also know what happened... All he/she needed was just to buy a pre-registered SIM.
So, during the NCC’s so-called Audit, how would they know that the eventual user of the SIM is not the owner of the NIN, since they don't have the user’s information by any means??
I just want to know, because I don't understand what this particular news is all about.
A POS operator claimed that MTN wouldn't allow him register more than 4 SIM cards with his NIN. So they block the most active lines.
As two people about pointed out. In a developed country they would be sued for interrupting subscribers business/life.
