Crime › Re: How Cyber Criminals Clone ATM Cards, Fleece Bank Customers Of Savings by SkiddyDoc: 11:14am On Dec 28, 2020 |
A major problem in Nigeria is that a lot of people claim knowledge on issues they have little or no no knowledge about. Everyone with access to Social Media is an expert. On the issue at hand, what we have in Nigeria is low-level hacking and more of people capitalising on people's ignorance, illiteracy and cyber immaturity. If Bankers collude with Fraudsters as people allege, Nigeria would have disintegrated long-ago, not to say the bank's don't have criminal staff but it is often exaggerated. We like to delegate and share confidential info and careless with both physical and electronic security. You visit a mall and allow the attendant to look for a POS with your card, you expose your cards in wallets, cars, houses, you are buying fuel and chatting at the same time not mindful of a swap. You ask people you trust to help draw cash , you discuss business transactions in public vehicles or joints. You click every link you see, you leave transaction alerts on your phone, use only one branch for all your transaction, drop your mobile number tied to your account everywhere, patronise funny betting sites and refuse to learn-every bank has shortcodes to disable an account in case of emergency. You reading what is the shortcode for your bank? |

flowmama: Try another study center bro... Most times the decision is solely based on the discretion of the person doing the verification. I will give you an example of such thing from someone's experience in this thread.
Apparently, Lagos study center denied him M. Ed science education because he did not study Education in undergraduate, although the website says one can do it without majoring in edu. However, someone else said he was allowed to during his verification in a study center in the north.
But guess what, that fist person is me. I was denied M. Ed. So feel free to try your luck at another study center.
So the ball is in your court though. Hello Bro, just to add to this observation. You cannot do M.ED without a background in Education. Even if one centre erroneously allowed it in future it will hurt the students if he/she wants to do a PhD. Let's do the right thing always...recall Adeosun's case if she had followed up the NYSC exemption herself...the narrative would have been different. Choose Excellence always ... |

Josh121: Calm down ,there is no refund any where, do you registration and go for classes . If it was scam why are people graduating ? Graduating after how many years? As existing student we cannot shy away from the fact that things are not going as planned, the school needs help in terms of administration. |

Majority of the students are Lazy nd want to get the certificate cheaply I hope this applies to those of us who completed ALL requirement in Dec 2017...An institution should be organized..NOUN started well but gradually it is going the way of Nigeria. Mr Hardworking student can you plan with NOUN...in the last 2years...show any area where we have had consistency. Education affords you an opportunity to develop your brain muscles! |

evergreen9: Bro abeg can you help me out here, I need someone with a lot of experience with the N.O.U.N to answer these questions:
Hey guys, I need some information on the national open university, I have emailed them but no one has bothered to respond and its been 4 days now since I reached out to them, I can't also get them on the phone. I have gone through the website and there are certain information that aren't clearly provided there, I would appreciate if someone here could help me out with some of these questions.
1. What are the academic requirements needed for a prospective student interested in attending the NOUN for a Bsc certification.
2. When does registration close, what are the fees required and can registration be done online?
3. Regarding the learning from a distance program, I stay on the mainland and I would like to participate in the distance learning program, but I also think it would be a good idea to be able to attend lectures / tutorials at the study center, so I would like to know if it would be possible to learn from a distance and also attend study center lectures on certain occasions ?
4. Is there an entrance exam? if yes, what subjects would the exams cover generally and what is the examination date? This information is online...visit the website or use Google. |

How easy it is to pass judgement? The writer never stated what transpired...we would appreciate a balanced view. You cannot walk into a bank for transaction and the next thing is for the branch to call the MOPOL and there is no documented case where such MOPOL just walks in and slaps a customer...trust me before any bank involves their security officer...the matter Don pass logical reasoning |

Good Day All,
Experience they say is the best teacher because in this part of the world we move on too quickly and fail to document our ordeal so that others can learn. Considering my experience in the last 10 days, from your experience, who would you award the Worst Customer Service In Nigeria to between JumiaNigeria and DStv Nigeria.
Feel free to list others- just maybe someone will listen someday
Cheers |
