Turns and she stops me in front of Crownhedge hotel.

Rider: End the trip please. I wouldn't be going to Lekki again

Rider: Call your account number
Me: On top how much? Please look for #500 and give me. I don't accept transfers for such amount
Rider: Looks angrily at me, comes down and walks in to beg the security man for #500

It happened to me too .but I also teach the woman a lesson

I was somewre around agege at about 9pm. I got a prompt and rider says she was going to banana island. I was excited. It took me almost 30 mins to get to rider.

I met her and she got into the vehicle and sat like a big madam, Immediately I started the trip,she said oga take me to ogba, I am no longer going to the island. I ended the trip immediately. I said madam ,I also is not going to ogba. Madam was tying to talk to me. Madam I have ended the trip,please look for another driver.
She came down and i zoomed off to the airport and got a good trip to lekki.

You may not get ATF with SP lll alone easily, probably combination of verities. But you can go for Heydex synthetic ATF.

Are u sure it is recommended for the Hyundai elentra type of my car?

Secondly, I need some one to recommend a good AC specialist to look at my AC.it is not cooling like B4.

I can never register my card on ehailing platform. Cash is the best at all time.

really its like you're not a frequent user of the platform or u are either a driver,
so many situations that it is only transfer that is the solution , so because of one greedy drivers behavior u encourage theft

My dear English is not difficult.

There is a policy for payment recognised on the platform.Cash or card only!!

Terms and conditions are not for decorations. It is to guide both drivers and riders and it is backed by law.

If a rider decides to make a transfer and the driver accepts it and the transfer does not go through,the driver cannot and will not complain,because the terms are clear and uber will not go after the customer,base on its policy.drivers are not to accept transfers and they know it.

Transfer is a gentle man agreement btw drivers and riders,it not backed by law and if anything go wrong,it is at the individuals risk.

I am not and will never support criminality. I can never support what the driver did. who is to blame here?

But at every time,We should be law abiding. If the rider had just registered his card on the platform or paid cash, which is the accepted policy of payment ,he would not have been in this bad situation now .

Most people like you will still not learn,and continue to make transfer which is against the policy only come to social media to shout when things go wrong.

What is difficult to do what is right at all time?
What is difficult to stick to the policy?

The policy is simple 'Cash or card only.!!

People do not listen and will continue to make same mistake.

Taxify or uber will not even sanction the driver because the customers do not always want to stick to the policy guide lines.

The major policy for payment is cash or card only!!!


Transfer is at the customers or drivers risk if any thing goes wrong.

And for me personally,even with out being told,the kind of service uber render and the calibre of riders we get most times,We will not need a magician or an herbalist to know that a short is a no no #######

You're totally missing the point. The issue was whether a Uber driver wearing shorts constitutes sexual harassment? And the answer is definitely NO! The last time I checked, not sticking to a rule is NOT a criminal act. He could lose his job for not following the rules but it's not a crime. In the US, Uber drivers wear whatever they are comfortable in as long as their attire does not offend the sensibility of reasonable people.

So the lady who voiced out how she feels is not reasonable abi ?

I as a man and a driver on the platform will also find it offensive to order a ride and see the driver come pick me with short. Its shows lack of courtesy . Better still he would have worn only singlet.

What is then the difference btw the uber driver and baba lasisi the taxi driver?

Most Drivers will just not listen and always want to give a bad image to all.

We were told during the training session when we applied to drive on the uber platform to always dress properly & to avoid wearing shorts. The rules are there.

A lot of people use proper words but in the wrong context. Sexual harassment is a criminal act and not civil. The female passenger who alleged that the Uber driver sexually harassed her has to explain how on earth wearing shorts by an opposite-sex constituted sexual harassment. Did the driver make any unsolicited sexual advances towards her albeit while in shorts? I mean, some people need to get a grip and STOP making preposterous statements in a bid to simply garner attention and 15 minutes of fame. In Nigeria where it's hot as heck, I am surprised that not too many people wear shorts.

I drive on the platform too..We were told during the training session to avoid wearing shorts. The owners of The platform must have experience this kind of issues in the past for them to tell us to avoid wearing shorts .why not stick to the rules
