I think if Bolt is really a technology driven company, it's high time they leverage on all these modern day payment platform like flutterwave, paystack etc. I can't undestand why they will be restriction on business over the weekend because of the threshold when we can easily pay and continue working.

A lot of transactions in the country happens over the weekend, why must I wait till they "open" the bank to customers on Monday before I know my status.

D injection dem give u strong ooh.

I say dis hustle is not easy someone says it’s easy week in week out. Experience is speaking now week in week out.

Yesterday I started driving from 4am to 10 am slept for 30mins resumed 10:30am to 6:45pm when I felt a sharp pain on my chest I quickly removed my mask and was massaging my chest dey look how to tell rider to come and drive or I end trip and request another car. But after removing mask I was better. I drove straight home after dropping rider as I reach my hood Na so everywhere red on app 1.9 surge enter drove till 8pm. My brain begin whisper to my chest say pull dt stunt again else dis guy no go stop driving today.

So he who have ears let him hear what skilip is saying and stop listening to people saying easily week in week out

Try make a request from your phone and see if it get to you.

Youself try pay them their money na abi you no won pay nigrin the moment your -ve balance is exceeding 4500 your trip request will gradually be limited to so try pay some amount or add your card to your riders account then request and make sure it gets to u... Arrive let the wait paid time gets to 2hrs on a 1.9x or 4hrs. Start the trip then end it after like 5min without moving. That way your -'ve balance will be offset.

If you make payment today don't just borther it will be till Monday b4 it will reflect on ur account.

Lastly, check to see if yiur inspection is still valid. These are some of the reasons you may not be receiving trip requests.

Good luck.

Menh this Sun na die today ooh... Me I don park for optima filling station Idimu Rd, I can't come and kill myself.
. Guy, na Benz you dey drive abi Brenz? This one wey you just dey drive your cAR go all the Lungu for Lagos, you go soon spoil your motor.

Do you have any good business ideas, I’ll love to hear them, Nigeria is one kind country, has both negative and positives
. Indeed transportation is good, here are my own ideas for you.

- You can get a franchise for one of those BRT buses, I don't think Primero alone has exclusivity I heard one of my seniors partnered with a firm to owns bus and the ROI is good.

- Lekki/Ajay axis keep developing daily, you can gets dump truck to deliver sharp sand (do your due dilligence) etc.

- Goods must move from the port, get a flat bed abi na trailer and move containers from the port (start with one) , you can talk to @izzou on this.

All in all please be careful and prayerful.

Different strategies, similar results.

Today have only done 10. Number 10 was from my neighbor in the same block of flats. I had gone home to rest and eat, and no sooner had I gone online that a 1.4x came in. Slid arriving now and dashed outside, called her, turned the car and waited for her. She entered car, we exchanged pleasantries, dropped her off. Transaction ended. No time for familiarity. I don't know her, neither does she. Business is business.

T0T0fucker:
nice points

of reasoning you have here.
but

We sell to make profit, now imagine selling all my
wares as early as 8am so what's stopping me from
restocking more to sell the next day and if the
demand is getting too much, I'll employ more hands
to help na.
but this woman doesn't employ no one.
just her alone.

everyday, Akara don finish, if you mistakely go like some minutes after 8.
why doesn't she do it more for it to be available for all her customers.

imagine you can't go there, and say you want to buy 500naira own, lashes you will get from other customers will be much.
like na you won just buy the full tray.
. So to remove every reasonable doubt just ask why she's not engaging more hands? Maybe if you tell her you will like to invest in the business then you will see the challenges or her short comings.

T0T0fucker:
sorry for my english.but I can't just help it.
i come from a family that loves eating Akamu and akara every morning, so the lady that'used to do in our streets we noticed hers it's not peppering enough, it tasteless.

until this year february my mom came across a woman that sells in another street.the first time she bought it the aroma of the Akara was nice, and when we finally ate it..it was good.until it became a habits.

sometimes my mom goes to this woman selling point, Akara has finished around 8,o clock am.
we later noticed this woman does the quantity of the Akara small.. like she has a limit, she was told to sell everyday, and she can't do pass that.
she doesn't sell pass 7 to 8am.
she doesn't sell on Wednesday

but what got us surprised today is when I went there to buy over 40 people where waiting for This woman Akara.
and more still coming.
I had to wait for an hour plus to reach my turn

some are even begging her to give them 100naira own she's said it's finished already, meaning the ones in the fire has already been paid for.

I feel this is not normal, I managed to buy 200naira own because of my mom.
but I just can't help to think.

does this woman use juju.
Not everyone does juju, don't be surprised that despite the numbers of people her profit maybe so small, besides that job is stressful. Also , she may have other streams of income so she knows her target market serves them early and move on. Lastly, she knows her onions, this they don't teach at HBS you learn on the job.

Part of their problem was blocking drivers for phone and GPS issues. Not everybody is fraudulent, but they punished many drivers for their App deficiencies. When those drivers tasted d alternative they never looked back.
Truth is even if they unblock all blocked drivers today, they will still be second fiddle.
Bolt has bridged the gap that made Uber standout 2yrs ago.
We been still dey manage their 25% they still they do shakara ontop again. Mstewwwww
God bless you, this was my story. The same phone they blocked me citing GPS issues is still the one I'm using with Uche.

Good morning bosses,
I need your advice.
I started this hustle a month ago, and just this morning, I got a job of 170k at vi, I I stay at dopemu.

I'm thinking of doing the job then do uber Saturday/sunday.

But my issue is how to paying rent within the first one month of starting the job at the same time I dont want to lose this car I'm working.

Please I need your advice
. Like @felicity said set destination when leaving the house every morning, your closing hours will most likely give you a surge trip, while you use the weekends to meet your deliverery -target .

All in all I don't think you should return the car because you don't know if you will be working on long or short term, sometimes it's difficult to get a car. All the best.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Has Anyone Ever Been Late For A Job Interview? by skillip(m):
Lanesra:
I had an interview this morning but the traffic was crazy. I got to the interview 30 minutes late, and now I’m a bit scared.
If you’ve ever been late for a job interview, what were the consequences? Did you still get the job?
Next time if you are running late simply text, call or send an email to that effect. Interview is NOT a death sentence. So calm down and cheer up.
