Good news. The first step on the road to taxing these places of worship. It's not only churches though. Groups like NASFAT also make a lot of money. Gov Fashola, wink-wink. I know this news gladdens your heart. But seriously govt will make a hell (pun intended) of money from these places of worship. |
free2ryhme: what happens next after winning this price that is what counts...trust niaija students ... extinctionThere we go... BTW, Congrats guys, more grease to your elbows. |
I chose my words carefully so I don't offend you unnecessarily since I have nothing against you. I'm just advising people generally. And for you, you don't need to create fake posts just to attract customers. Just do clean business and your customers will advertise freely for you. The post by ALAKASUNDAY above was also written by you. This is my profession and i know what I'm talking about. Don't even start with me. You also need to understand the meaning of "freedom of expression." I have the right to criticize anybody I so wish, including the "men of God" in our society. It's a fundamental human right. |
spothot: ....reminds me what we did before eating it thenMuhahaha very funny. In case you don't speak Yoruba, it means "oh fruit, turn to sugar, the prince wants to eat you." Guess it's a way of psyching themselves hoping it'll be a sweet one. Agbalumo is very nice if it's sweet, otherwise e go slap u tire. LOL |
Vincent 4: nonsesne......:e concern meYou had to quote the entire story just to write this trash? I wonder if some people really went to school. |
Crooks claiming men of God. I just came back from a short trip down the road with my friend here in Lagos. Along a distance of less than 5km to and fro, we counted over 40 churches. And you tell me Xtianity is not good business? |
That's what happens when you have a slowpoke as president. |
Guys, tred with CAUTION so you don't lose you hard-earned CASH. The first 3 posts on this thread were written by the same person. |
ROSSIKE: A big house has many children - Some will be corrupt, some will be upright, some will be mad, some will be sane, some will be thieves, some will be saints. It's the sign of a great household.Keep deluding yourself. |
Well we all know it's the truth. Nigeria is a hopeless country of silly citizens being led by criminals. The only thing Nigerians do is go to their churches & mosques and pray hopelessly all-day. |
The story sounds fake. But any woman who still wears mini skirts in Maiduguri has apparently lost her human survival instinct. Everybody knows those people are beasts. Run for your life, Run from that hopeless desert, RUN! |
You just dey know dat one? |
kutchs: I see so much stupidity here. And you the un-stu.pid one don't know that this will wake up the docile masses from their slumber, and make govt positions unattractive to these criminals in power? It will affect me but I wish the oil dries up or at least production grinds to a halt for 6months. |
Will sign the petition. If Obasanjo could appear on Hard Talk, who is Jonathan not to appear? Though I know the f00l will go and mess up as usual. |
For years, I've been looking for the difference between Nigerian pastors and Yahoo! Boys but found nothing. Their Modus Operandi is the same. Play on your victim's emotion, scam them of their valuables while promising them an imaginary reward. Repeat above. I'm sure the most gullible people in the world would be found among Nigerian Pentecostal churchgoers. It beats me how they manage to remain dumb for so long. |
I found this really useful and I think you may too. Having your car's manual provides a reference point while diagnosing problems, and helps in maximizing the full features of your car. Most of them are free, save for a few stingy manufacturers. www.edmunds.com/how-to/how-to-find-your-car-owners-manual-online.html |
Downloading the car's manual may also help. It gives you insight into how its transmission ought to work originally. Check this link. www.edmunds.com/how-to/how-to-find-your-car-owners-manual-online.html |
Arsenate: I'm going to have my children here in Naija and they'd surely have a good life. Most importantly, I'd teach them how to be proud of their identity so they don't run to another mans land and turn around and insult their home without shame. Y'all can Sceam all u like or publish whatever crap research, nothing's gonna change that. While I respect your opinion, this is just sentiment. The earlier we admit that Nigeria is completely messed up, the better for us. Did u hear FRSC say that we have the second worst roads in the whole world? What's life expectancy in Nigeria? 40-something o. Your kids will only be proud of their identity if they are lucky to grow old enough to have one. And survival in Nigeria is not about being rich at all. I hope you know that. |
I am so proud to be a Nigerian and in my next life i will still be a Nigerian!!!
Hypocrites! If you give them even Turkish visa, dem go jump up o. Yeye dey smell. Nigeria koo, Hell-geria nii. |
solomon111: Go to hell with your useless post.Nigerians and their usual denial. Would you have said the same if we were No 10? Nobody needs to tell an average Nigerian that this country is hell. And yes, Pakistan may actually fare better than Nigeria economically. |
In the past used to be the almighty Garri, with Sugar and sachet Cowbell or Miksi. I hardly get broke these days. Even if I am, there's so much foodstuffs in my kitchen that it hardly shows. And there's free launch and transport to & from work. |
Of course the gangster pastor has nothing to say. When Nigeria's economy improves, less people will go to church. |
I'm sorry but isn't your company putting too much of the car's responsibility on you? When do you have time to think of the job itself? I wouldn't like that. And I'd expect a company to have a driver and specific service center. But then, yours may be different. |
@OP Sorry I really sympathize with you. You seem not to know much about cars, but we obviously learn everyday. After all the professional responses though, you still sound confused. The 1st thing to do is NEVER go back to that mechanic. You're just an easy paycheck to him. 2ndly, look for a qualified auto workshop where the car will be properly diagnosed. Tell us where you live (Lagos?). Are you on the Island or mainland? I know a very good workshop in Ajah if you live around there. There's also a thread on this site which lists good & modern auto workshops. |
No point wasting time on this very simple topic. PDP=Boko Haram All the politicians linked to BH are PDP - Senator, ex-Governor, even up to the level of the VP Sambo. Do you remember the Kaduna gun-runner who was a facilitator for Sambo, then freed by this evil govt?. They're even using BH to fight ANPP in Borno. Jonathan's govt has looked for the minutest link between Buhari/CPC & BH but failed. Rather, the former NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER confirmed that BH is PDP. As for Oritsejafor, that one is just a gangster pastor being followed around by some gullible christians in the name of CAN chairman. |
Fela get plenty shoe o. E nor be like Jonathan. |
martyns303: Am very much willing to learn if u would educate me. I would appreciate you enlighten me if acquisation of properties are wrong, or based on religious grounds it is ethically wrong? Is "embarassing" the actual phrase that should be used?If you still need someone to explain what the father meant by embarrassment in this context, you either have a low IQ or you're one of those categories of pastors who effectively steal from gullible congregations for their own selfish interests. The Yahoo pastors. |
@OP Learn to punctuate and space your write-up next time. A lot of those ideologies are not very practical even for a muslim, especially in a multi-religious society like Nigeria. While it works for some, there's a high chance that you'll end up marrying someone who is "acceptable" from a religious point of view but whom you don't really love & are happy with. You'll likely still end up having extra-marital affairs. This is the reality of many marriages today. Marrying someone for the sake of God or religion is a joke. Why not stay single for God then? I advise people to marry people they love and are comfortable with. Our obsession with religion is actually destroying us. The world is more complex today than it was 2000 yrs ago. |
This is wild o. Looks like Nissan Xterra. |
Movingcoil: u said they wer 60, y call only 3? I know wat U want 2 start and never U scamp wen it heats upWhat's the sense in this? They should go and interview all 60? Na wa for some people sha. |
