Ok thank u JustMellow: Hello Skymoore1004,
Requesting the transcript might not really be the problem for some people with time and money and it maybe for some. The transcript and the likes are normally issued by the admissions office without the person going directly to the registrar. Considering the purpose, cost or expenses that maybe incurred in both ways, you alone know you financial budget and the choice would be yours to make.
Academic credentials from WES (and taking IELTS) are not a necessary requirements in securing admissions or study visa to Canada. However, doing this may have certain advantage that the graduate admissions committee may discretionally use to assessment an applicant as an edge over others. However, you don't need WES evaluation to get an admission in Canada.

Honestly I don’t understand the question but what I’m saying is that I don’t know if project management is the best option for you. You don manage projects before? You get any certification for PM? Someone talked about it today. If you study this project management now, what is your next plan? Which Oyibo wan give you project make you handle if you no get better work experience or certificate? At the end of the day you will find yourself struggling to find work. It’s better you follow IT part wey dey solid. It’s easier to get a job within the IT sector if you sabi the field well. By the time you finish your masters, that your basic knowledge go multiple. Also try to do a lot of practices. Even this your mechanical engineering na solid one. U.K. is always building something so there’s always work in that field too. Cigbojugha: My 1st degree is mechanical engineering and I applied for MSC project mgt. With advanced practice. I actually had the intention to go for IT related course cyber security actually but I realized I only have basic IT knowledge so I changed my mind. So do you think someone with just basic knowledge in IT could comprehend and have a smooth classroom understanding of lectures? |

Your opinion should not belittle others. That he had a bad experience at the school you’re applying to, doesn’t mean you will have the same experience. Na you go run your race. You don see person wey talk exactly how he make am before? Na only aspire to inspire. THE UNIVERSITY DOES NOT DEFINE YOU. Is you that will define your self by accumulating skills, knowledge , connections & experience to survive. Anyway E sha concern you. yusufDeveloper: Please, let him share his opinion for other people. He's not doing gragra abeg. This is how to talk or advise. Not to write rubbish and belittle people like that other fellow. You have made a point without criticising the university or applicant. That somebody went to study project management and did not got job because of lack of certification , does not make the university shitty. That’s the persons fault. How many em papa don build? Oga Oxford hosey: I actually do not like anyone to study Project Management because it is useless without previus experience.
Also certifications such as PMP , APMP and Prince 2 are the main requirements.
If you are interested in Project Management, you can register in official PMI centres and write the professional exam in Nigeria. |

Don’t mind this fellow. He did not utilise his opportunity well and now he is hating on the university for no reason. Is like going to oxford or Harvard and saying their shit schools because you finished and did not get work to remain. Northumbria has one of the best business schools in the U.K. if not among the 5th best. Correct school with correct standard. Ranking around 40-50th schools in the U.K. I went for their fair in lagos and I was impressed with them. They even have new campus in Amsterdam but unfortunately not open to non Eu students now. They offer you a consultancy option over dissertation and if you follow that route , you cannot even get lower than merit. If you do well the company will hire you after. So let this man go and carry his towel where he kept it Franklyn4: Bro, what course did you study @Northumbria uni? and what was your general experience ? and why no guarantee job? Some people may have applied for the school and i hope you can lay-bare your experiences just so we know what to expect , pleases . throw more light. |

But does this colleges require you to send transcripts directly from your university or you can just upload it and move ahead? From their website it says your qualifications have to be notarised and sent by your institution. Is almost the same procedure for wes geosolomac: I can categorically tell u DAT u ain't need WES evaluation to get admitted with ur B.SC/HND to Cambrian College at Sudbury Ontario & Niagara College, Ontario
From my little knowledge of WES, potential Undergraduate Students, Potential Master Students & those applying for Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) are the ones that do WES evaluation of their academic credentials
I stand to be corrected

I was told that it’s only if you studied abroad like Australia or Us or Europe that you don’t need evaluation but for Nigeria you need except you went to aun or baze etc. Which college does not require Wes?the link you put shows all colleges not wants that exempts wes. and can you apply directly or must your university send the transcripts to them? Frankrobbn1 justmellow Please help geosolomac: That's not true
Large no. Of Colleges that offers PGC/PGD don't require result evaluation by WES. So far so good, mostly potential Masters student and Students going for undergraduate program are required to Evaluate their result by WES
Check out The schools in Ontario Colleges. They are are lotta colleges dat offers PGD/PGC

Prince Edward for sure JustMellow: Hello Preshy2004,
There are many of opportunities in Ontario, especially with a co-op program. For the fact that Carleton University offered him a program with co-op, that should be his best bet. People who schools in a particular provinces end up emigrating to another province for work or flexible PR when compared to Ontario.
If PR is the main goal for him, then Prince Edward should be considered, by relocating to do a Master in the province. The small disadvantage about this peovince is due to its limited job availability but believe people are still thriving there. If you son is an athlete or desire to participate in athletics, the this province is actually suitable for him due to their scholarship and opportunity programs for athletes. It is also very cheap in terms of LE.
