Ok Eromo10: I think you are contradicting yourself by saying study visa and psw doesn’t count towards the 10 yrs route, and also citing an example with rich men kids that study on a long stretch and get residency. |

Ok omopapa: Bro don’t confuse ursef. If you study in the UK and ur immigration status changes afterwards (e.g you got married), the number of years u have stayed LEGALLY will count towards ur 10 year route leading to indefinite leave to remain.
The picture u attached is about graduate immigration route |

Goodluck Cigbojugha: All schools are not the same. Some schools have flexible payment system.
Which airport was ur friend asked to show the 50% balance? Departure or arrival at the UK? If it is in the UK, did he show them the already printed statement from Nigeria or did he log into his banking app to show them the balance in his account? I know they were not expecting him to travel with such cash. |

As you can see in the photo and even going with what you said about 8 years max, is still not possible to reach 10 years via study route. Let’s be realistic please Bourne007: I will be patiently waiting

Ok Goodluck Cigbojugha: I am yet to travel but I have someone already in the said school for September 2019 batch so this is like a first hand information. We also have couple of guys here who are already schooling so they can help us clear the air. I know what the policy says and I have come to understand that these policies are not rigid as long as ur intention is not to break it. |

Yes spouse visa counts of course I was just responding with the context for the earlier message. Study visa does not count towards 10 years. I’m constantly researching and reading about residency. Don’t worry I will attach the link from the government website soon Bourne007: This your information is so inaccurate and misleading 'Facepalm' 'sighs'
10-year route counts to indefinite as long as you have stayed LEGALLY no matter what visa. You can study for a max for 8 years Not only work permit leads to residency. Don't you think spousal count? |

Can you provide a source support this ? Thanks omopapa: This is inaccurate, as long as u have stayed in the country legally, it counts towards ur 10 years |

Even study visa or PSW does not count towards 10 years route & you cannot study for more than 5 years at a stretch. Else rich men kids will do foundation 1 year, bachelors 4 years, masters 2 years and phd 3 years with 1 year stayback after the phd and get residency for their kid. Check immigration reports or documents you will understand better. Only work visa counts towards residency. It’s only Eu countries like Estonia Poland etc that your year of study counts towards residency and it’s calculated with 0.5. So if you studied in Poland for 4 years, only 2 years will count but NOT FOR U.K. Let’s advise accurately hosey: Nice one. However, the period you are on a study visa and PSW visa does not count onto 5 year settlement route.
However, the study visa and PSW visa only counts towards 10 year settlement route. |

You cannot start class if you have not paid the 50% balance o. Yes you can travel but you will not be able to enrol if you have not paid up that 50%. My friend said the immigration officer even asked him to show the tuition balance at the airport. He showed them 50% balance and his father’s statement with the rest. Let’s give accurate information pls. Cigbojugha: You will be allowed to travel, enroll and even commence class while you pay the balance. Just note what the policy says but they are also flexible. |

Is easy to say but hard to come to reality. I spoke to several ex students from France during this campusfrance event and all of them literally said the same thing. They said France is only good if you’re under scholarship. That if you’re planning to spend your hard earned money to move there in the hopes of finding a part time job to supplement your stay, is like finding a needle in a haystack. That even the lowest jobs require you to be fluent in french. So if I cannot get a job in my field during my 2 years of study, how can I get a full time job to sponsor me during my 1 year stay? My chances are low because the employer will first go through your CV before inviting you for an interview to check on your skills etc. I’m not sure about France again Looking for other Eu countries that English is widely spoken davide470: On this, i previously wrote the below on another thread, so i am going to bring it here:
Studying in a developed country and an European superpower is definitely worth it. After your Masters, you get a 1 year stay (called Carte de séjour - Recherche d'emploi/création d'entreprise or APS for short) and getting a job mostly depends on what you studied, internship(s) you did during your studies, skills and how well you know the language (some international firms don't put too much emphasis on the language but you need to have quality work experience from Nigeria to augument).
Once you get a full time offer (CDI) you can apply for a 4 year resident permit called Passeport Talent and towards the end of it, you can apply for permanent residency.
Also, if you get a temporary/contract offer (CDD), you can apply for a resident permit depending on how long your contract is. |

How much is the tuition please? krysten: I have a peculiar issue.
First I have an admission letter, enrollment letter, paid my tuition, got an invitation letter and a declaration of value exemption letter from Rome business school.
I didn't have to legalize my documents. Now the issue is can I apply for visa without any need for legalizing any of my documents |

Don’t want to spend my hard earned money to go to a place where I cannot work because of language. I did not come to this life to continue suffering on top my own sweat haha. Might be difficult especially if the tuition is like €3770 per year because of competition & limited seats. But private that charge like €10k per year will send you offer in less than 24 hours if possible jswaggzo: How easy is it to get into a French public university with a 2.8 GPA for masters |

Thanks , I will still consider Denmark. They also introduced this new 2 years visa for danish university graduates. MrBrownJay1: yes Denmark is expensive to live but the salaries are making it up for it...a room in a shared apt will cost you between €450 to €650 depending on how far you wanna live from the center of Copenhagen, but any decent job will pay you no less than €2K (even dish-washing). your biggest worry there should be the damn cold there and lack of sun, even though its still better than Norway in this aspect (where the brutal/deadly Norwegian cold is no joke) |
