I only went on a visit to Belgium for a church program. You can't tell a difference between the two countries,they look exactly the same and sound alike just with a different dialect.

I am not sure how their immigration program works, Belgium is often overlooked by Nigerians.

People think its a joke, Nigerians are very foolish but we always think we are smart, besides we don't even add any value and respect to this countries, we go there and remain average why won't they deny us visa.

Imagine someone will spend 2 to 4 years studying or living abroad but he/she will blatantly refuse to learn their language, refuse to engage in voluntary community service, break their women's heart, complain of racism at the slightest provocation etc and on top of all these engage in minor or major crimes, its like we think these countries are blind to all our negative behaviors.

If we don't chang, very soon we will be struggling to enter ECOWAS countries.

Here’s my story,
I initially applied for a study permit last year. I was denied but I didn’t care to reapply because I thought I would just focus on Australia or US.

However, things changed and I just made up my mind to leave Nigeria come rain , come sunshine. I was among the people that got affected by that lagos fire in December 2019. I lost almost everything I had and the government till today has not done anything or compensated us.

Anyway, a friend of mine told me about reapplying but I brushed it away. Told him I’m tired of Canada and their wahala. He told me to just try again and I should check Nairaland for tips etc. That’s how everything I started.
My university accepted to defer my admission for this years entry. I reapplied with the same exact documents. I just printed new statement. Then I rewrote my SOP & LOE. There was this twitter guy that helped me with the SOP & LOE.

Everything else I did myself with the tips from here. I did not pay any agent at all! Agent ruined me last time. When I got my medical request , i didn’t even take it serious or rushed it. Infact I already lost hope and excitement. I still went ahead to do it and just believed that highest it will just be lost money nothing more.

To make this short, please keep trying.
I just want to tell everyone here to not GIVE UP.
Even if you have been denied , try again if you can. Do not use agent if possible because they will just fill rubbish for you on the form.

Do it yourself. It is time consuming but worth it.
Make sure your SOP is standard. Don’t write stories that touch for them. Straight the point and concise. I will upload my documents later
I applied to Uni of Windsor. Paid all my fees etc . Two years Msc. Over 40m in my personal account and showed property documents. I believe that at times they just deny someone automatically like its computer based I dunno.

Just don’t give up please

First, based on financials:

IF YOU'RE SPONSORING YOURSELF: Please show proof of work and steady income and back it up with a PAID study leave document. Here's the deal. The documents proof that you have an income stream AND A SUITABLE MEWNS OF SUSTAINANCE WHILE YOU'RE STUDYING.

IF YOUR PARENT(DAD) ARE SPONSORING YOU: you can submit his sponsoring account statement that has bulk money say 7000€ upwards AND a LEGALISED BIRTH CERTIFICATE OR NATIONAL POPULATION CERTIFICATE

IF YOUR PARENT(MUM) ARE SPONSORING YOU: You can submit THE ABOVE STATED AND LEGALIZED CERTIFICATE OF MARRIAGE.

IF the sponsor is from your maternal side,:
First, have the following documents: her previous documents with same surname as your maternal relation, then the marriage certified that link her name to your father and the change of name court affidavits and newspaper broadcast, both original and photocopy, ALL LEGALIZED.

So which ever class you fall in, I hope this information help you get it right on financials

One of the weirdest application I did..like I had to mail them all the requirements.I had a 2.1. I am working with UKEAS for the visa even tho I am yet to pay my fees because of this Corona issh and the rate is currently on the high side. I am hopeful tho!

Admission process is pretty simple, maybe costly. It’s the visa application that will wear you out.
Czech is cool and relatively quiet compared to other major European states. Cost of living is relatively cheaper too

For someone who hasn’t spent up to 6 months in a European Country (UK) to generally claim that EUROPEANS are not brilliant, that is not a personal experience. That is unacceptable.

I am sure you didn’t study in Uk and parse if you studied you only met few professors in the course of your study. A professor in Nigeria is Usually not a professor in Uk!
