BehindBiafra:You used a click bait to deceive people. That’s the screenshot of a South African police man. Only bigots and fools will see that photo and assume that it was that of the DSS. The police commissioner claimed that IPOB burnt someone beyond recognition yet he said it would be a Fulani man. What of police Officer was that? I’m not angry with you cos I know your type and your mission here. I’m only angry with South East politicians for their nonchalance. They have met at Akanu Ibiam to commission the airport while their youths are being intimidated and killed. However, you’ll reap what sow here and any other media space. |
Shame on that commissioner of police. He is incompetent, a coward and a disgrace to security This bully hounded some innocent and unarmed youths to score some PR points. Shame on him for harassing and attempting to bully those boys. What a shameless liar. If a third of those boys were properly armed, these bullies would never dare come 5km near these boys. |
Mutemenot:You sabi... If you went to Emeka’s shop to buy electronics and he offers/entertains you a bottle of Malta Guinness and meat pie after you’ve paid,..bro that wasn’t a free gift. You have actually paid for your meal. China doesn’t do free gifts. It’s like buying an NNPC chairman a Rolex watch after you’ve been paid for a contract. |
yarimo:The disasters that you wish on others will bind with you, it’ll be on your bed post, mode of transport and dinner table. It’ll never depart from you till the hatred and foolishness in you are exhausted. |
BehindBiafra:At the shout of ‘About turn’, the last will be the first...I’m sure you are familiar with that and it doesn’t really matter the number of people that saw my message. I’m glad someone like you saw cos you’ll bear witness. I know you’ve come here to troll and act disrespectful and I’ll advice you to catch and have your fun... it won’t long before you gasp for that air, sadly your surroundings will be contaminated and foul and your lungs and blood will be filled with poisons and toxins. Enjoy your time mister. |
BehindBiafra:Youths were training and exercising at St Patrick’s Emene. This isn’t about Nnamdi Kanu. Those boys were not protesting or constituting nuisance in the street or along the roads. They were at St Patrick’s Emene engaging in physical exercises....praying first, running round the field, stretches and practice martial arts without weapons. How can these be a threat to Nigeria security? How could a police commissioner tell lies on camera about these boys? How can he force them to accept that they were carrying weapons? In a sane society, the man who gave that order from the DSS, police and 82 Div would be prosecuted, lose their jobs and face murder charges. IPOB will get more supports after this, people will join and IPOB will get more resources and support. Nigeria security have seen Igbos as timid and perfect guinea pigs to practice their shooting and exercise their gra gra. This will change. Those deaths will be avenged. If somebody out there lack the will and resources to do that. There are others who will avenge that murder and maltreatment. Sadly there are people here who support and celebrate the atrocities and murder which the DSS, military and police commit against Igbos under the guise of trying to chase and crush IPOB. It happened in Onitsha few months ago when a group of boys playing football during the covid lockdown were gunned down...NOTHING HAPPENED. The murderers sent from the police stations went free. Time and time again, they would do this and disappear to resurface and repeat the same evil again. Time will come when South East will be a nightmare to the best of Nigeria police and soldiers. Quote me on this. Remember what I said. This isn’t about Nnamdi Kanu. What’s to come will be much bigger than him. That Enugu state police commissioner and his friends will not go unpunished. |
Patrioticman007:Governor El Rufai has blasphemed and has insulted Jesus son of Mary. What do you say yo that? Did any Muslim speak out or condemn him? |
Arrewa:You should first condemn what that man wrote not trying to justify his foolishness with a silly excuse. You’ve lost my respect mister. |
obyrich:You didn’t have to read that thrash twice. Only a very sick mind and necrotic fingers would conceive and pen that and only people with diseased minds and mentally under developed people would believe that nonsense came from whatever Ohaneze group and any Igbo man involved in writing this will never prosper or live long. |
Area4Area:I know you like the news but that wasn’t from Ohaneze or from any genuine Igbo group. This should be disregarded. |
Vyzz:Why ‘minister of education’? He should be the minister of petroleum. He has got some experience selling petrol and engine oil. How many past petroleum ministers can tell the difference between petrol and diesel? Don’t insult that boy. |
Rugaria:It’s my personal opinion sir and I’m not speaking for any other person. First time I watched Nnamdi Kanu was a video of him asking Igbos resident in the US to support him with finances to acquire weapon. If you don’t see nothing wrong with that, that’s you. We can’t all think and reason same way. This is a faceless forum but there are lots of people who would be shocked that he did that. Personally, I have come across very despicable individuals whom you wouldn’t want to associate or even shake their hands and I mean people who would do unimaginable things but you wouldn’t see such people coming on videos doing such. Fulani militants who camouflage as herders wouldn’t do such..showing their faces in camera asking for weapons, boyz at Esut and UNEC wouldn’t do it. You’ll only hear about them when the deed is done...that’s one of the reasons people laugh at IPOB and Kanu. Here on Nairaland, lots of people believe Kanu and IPOB are just ‘wailers’. They see Biafra as an online republic, they celebrate it when Igbos are killed. Kanu shouldn’t be calling people names, stoking ethnic tensions and insulting people who disagree with him...Nairalanders call Igbos ‘pigs’ or pigsterners...Kanu started that. He has lots of fans but he should learn to listen and take advice. Those who criticise him today might turn out to be his fanatical supporters tomorrow and I see that happening. It’s one death too many...Igbos should wake up. There are lots of distractions. Governors, Ekweremadu and co not uniting and speaking with one voice like South west governors and politicians are doing especially about security. Amotekun is a brilliant idea. They stuck to it and wouldn’t be intimidated...Ugwuanyi and co are still flirting with Abuja and the Inspector General of police and being confused with silly awards being given to them. We all don’t like the activities of herdsmen but apart from the insults from Kanu, he and IPOB have offered and come up with solutions. At UNTH Ituku Ozalla, Fulanis have taken over the forests, they are all over there, it took the intervention of top staff at the hospital to reduce the crimes and menace that they constitute there. In the right hands and right method, these wouldn’t be happening, it’ll take some sacrifices but it’ll stop. Lots of people want to contribute but not with what is happening and they way things are being done. There’s a cartoon of an IPOB/Biafra soldier pointing his weapon backwards and that’s how people see Biafrans/IPOB. That is actually very good because if things are done correctly, the likes of that police commissioner and his friends would down on their knees on video begging for forgiveness. |
Every commissioner of Police especially from the northern part of Nigeria posted to Enugu understands the docility of the residents and exploits that. It wouldn’t be happening if the governors were not apathetic or insouciant. Invasion of Enugu by Fulani mercenaries comes to mind. Nothing has happened since that attack. No public statement on the fate of the criminals and murderers. Enugu citizens are expected to move on and not talk about it. Young men were engaged in physical exercises at Emene Enugu last Sunday but the DSS, Nigeria police, Airforce and soldiers from the 82 Div. Nigeria army saw such exercises as threat the Nigeria security. The commissioner of Police Enugu state reiterated such concerns when he queried and forced the five young men arrested to accept that they acquiring martial arts skills so they’d be able to fight Nigeria!!...He kept asking them why they were learning Kung fu. People, isn’t this ridiculous? He even forced some of them to accept that they had ‘odeshi’...an excuse to practice his shooting skills on a fellow human being. How unprofessional can the Nigeria police be?? As much as I despise Nnamdi Kanu’s rhetorics and method, I’d have to concede that IPOB members are being bullied, intimidated unnecessarily and being pushed to the wall. All over Enugu, people come out in open spaces to exercise, you’d see hundreds or even thousands of people coming out from various places to train and exercise at Achara layout, new haven primary school new haven, Ngwo Park Uwani, Emene and Okpara sq. independence layout not far from Ugwuanyi’s residence. People run, roller stake, stretch while others practice judo and other martial arts. Why would police and military try to intimidate and slap people doing these...because they were armed and feared? What happened at Emene should not just be condemned by reasonable people, police and the military should be held responsible for the atrocities that they commit in South East states where they feel relaxed to torment, arrest, extort, intimidate and murder people without repercussions. The atrocities that they commit in Enugu and other south east states wouldn’t happen in any part of Nigeria. This shouldn’t go unpunished. |
21cents:It wasn’t doctored but you shouldn’t mind the poster. That was football tactics given to him by the Man United technical crew either when he came on or when he went to the side line. Footballers are prohibited from engaging in football betting/gambling. Daniel Studridge was banned for doing that. |
Raeheemwayne:Some of her photos

She should train and join the snipers regiment but her hairs would get caught or trapped in the woods when she blends with her environment. Mother Nature has given her a special Ghillie. |
Shame on the commissioner of police Enugu state, shame on Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu state. Shame on all those people around there intimidating these boys. What kind of interview was that?? They trying very hard to force these boys to accept things they know nothing about. These were simply the unfortunate individuals whom the police spotted and arrested to show how ‘hard’ they work. The Nigerian police cowardly avoided the trouble spots then went for the most vulnerable. How can this man stand there with a microphone telling lies that the DSS, Mobile police unit, Air Force and men from the 82 Div Nigerian Army were engaging in gun battle with a group of IPOB members who were physically exercising. I have despised IPOB for a very long time but it’s time to lend support to them. To hell with the Nigeria security forces. These boys need to change their methods. They should stop being maltreated and bullied by the cowardly police and military. |
This man should stop whinging. The more he complain, the more the glue holding the nickname hardens on his forehead. It’s like Ganduje complaining of being called Gandollar or El Rufai complaining of being called a Hell Rufai, short devil midget or genocide king or Tinubu complaining of being called brown teeth. He should stop moaning. |
R AngryIgboDon:I disagree with you nwanne. The content of that video is shameful and very embarrassing. Austin Ndigwe is a man without conscience from his days at Union Secondary School Awkunanaw Enugu, same period as Osita Chidoka. This guy stole peoples properties, stole goats and sold at gariki Enugu, became a local govt chairman in the 90s and fleeced his Awka people, his character and association with Arthur Eze tells a lot about the person of Arthur Eze. These are not men to be trusted. How did Austin Ndigwe end up as the Igwe of Awka!!!?? This is alu...sacrilege. I disagree that Igwe’s can not be called out. Tufiakwa. If we had a governor as vindictive and strategic as Ganduje or El Rufai, these men..Arthur Eze and Austin Ndigwe would be dealt with. These people should stop embarrassing Igbos. Sadly Arthur Eze and Austin Ndigwe don’t know the meaning of shames. They won’t be ruffled by the viral nature of these videos. Chukwu ekwena ife ojoo. |
Mcreloaded:Respect sir if you knew Mighty Igor and Tex McKenzie. These guys were way back before the likes of Hulk Hogan and Undertaker. Their contemporaries were Argentina Apollo, Big Daddy, Ivan Puski that looks like a white version of Uwaezuoke, Jimmy Superfly. Mill Mascaras. |
NGpatriot:You are right about that. It is Tinubu’s fault. That man is wicked, corrupt and demonic. What else do you want to hear or know about him? |
[s][/s] No wahala both states are in Igboland what are your people known for outside skull mining
I’m surprised egbon Metaphysical left his Emmanuel Adeniji to troll Anambra and Aba people. Metaphysical go and pray for your elder brother who is raping mental health patients abroad. |
Simplyleo:Keep kwayet. Tinubu is from Oshun state. Faleke is from Kogi....but Yorubas wouldn’t allow ipobians to drink water and keep cup during the last election. Even Tinubu’s wife was paranoid of Ipobs and flatinoes coming out to vote. They had to send one of Mc Oluomo’s miscreants to smash ballot boxes but he was dealt with Aba style after Nigerian police men ran away triggering your resident lunatic in diaspora aka ‘Adeyinka Grandson’ to go ballistic and nearly choked to death with jealousy. Yoruba people, una get people well well. Boris Johnson is really taking care of egbon Adeyinka wellu wellu. We haven’t been hearing his rabid sweet voice abi Eliza don intubate am as corona don dey hammer sane and insane people? |
Simplyleo:Sometimes it’s wise to just shut up than open your mouth and prove yourself to be not just unintelligent but needing psychiatric assistance. |
NGpatriot:Both men attended different universities and at different times. This dude went to Sachenov university which is the oldest medical school in Russia according to the report. The University was founded in 1758. While we acknowledge Dr Olatusi, be aware that most of the comments above are from Yoruba people acknowledging and implying that Chidubem’s success were attributed to being raised in Yoruba land. You are the one chest beating by infusing into this thread another distracting post. What were you trying to achieve? You are the only person here with many insecurities and inferiority complex. Be happy and appreciate excellence. Both men represented themselves, their families and Nigeria well. Olatusi did well breaking record during his time, Chibubem made history as well achieving his feat in a Uni that has been around since 1758. What is your problem? |
kapelvej:You had to omit Samson Siasia? Na waa for u. ![]() |
Arrewa:God bless you too. |
You all should not be too impulsive. Let’s verify the source of the news first. Sometimes it’s nice to maintain an air of dignified reserve. |
meum:Appreciate beauty bro. If I wasn’t told that was Kano, I’d probably guess and attribute the reasons to water surface having limestone underneath, this reflects the colour of the sky. You’d see blue colour during the day and in the other photos taken during the evening and night, the colours reflected are still the colours of the sky which are no longer blue...I don’t reckon Kano having deposits of limestone and it wasn’t mentioned....another reason could be due to preferential absorption of reddish colours which are long wavelength s leaving blue which is of short wave length. Most muddy and potopoto waters are not blue because of impurities which scatter the light...so allow Arrewa and everyone who love aesthetics and natural beauty to appreciate the above. Those of you shouting almajiri and trailers heading down south should take some positives from the images.... There are lots of economic disparity in Naija but Nigeria is blessed with unending natural and Human Resources and beauty. We can be the worst of the worst and also among the best if we really choose to tow the path of excellence. |
Nooil:Do you have mental health issues or just some disturbed hormonal problem this morning? I used inferiority complex when I mentioned people giving their children names like Endurance, Prosper, Miracle etc...please these are not English names rather English words which mainly Africans turned into names. My argument is that these words also mean something in their native language. I’d be surprised to see an English family name their kid ‘Endurance’, or ‘Prosperity’ which you’d see here in Nigeria especially south Nigeria. This practice is seen mainly in very religious and superstitious people....Goodluck Jonathan’s family inclusive...his name is also Azikiwe...named after Nnamdi Azikiwe. His Parents must’ve adored Zik and believed that by naming their child Azikiwe, baby Goodluck would rise, achieve and be as famous as Zik. Christians would refer to the Abram to Abraham change of name or Saul to Paul change of name and it’s subsequent results whenever they are compelled to change name especially after bouts of misfortunes. Mentioning names like Nelson, Andrew, Chris shows how unintelligent you are....you quoted me and I believe that you went through my comment well because foaming in the mouth. If you are a Secondus, you can never be more Latin than the pope, if you answer a McGregor, you can’t never be more Celt than the Scots/Irish. It’s only here in this part of the world that someone would criticise an Ogundipe or an Ogun name but celebrate Yuletide, Santa Claus, Easter eggs etc. Great cultures have survived because they have preserved one of their great treasures...NAMES. You don’t lose your name. There is a reason the Almighty have made you a Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Ibibio, Tiv, Jukun etc. You are obliged to promote the uniqueness through your culture especially your NAME. It sets you apart and makes you special. If you lose that part of your uniqueness, you are not just a NO BODY, you are dead. Once you’ve adopted another man’s name and suppressed yours...yours have been deleted. The other man’s name have been promoted and you are history. As long as I live, no language will eclipse mine. I speak English language most times because my work place is diverse, majority of people that I work with speak different languages and English is the medium of communication but I can easily tell a Polish from his name, a Chinese from her name and an Indian from their name. These people are proud of their native names. If I spoke Hindu, Mandarin or Urdu, it’s not an excuse to adopt their names and some words from these languages and use them as names. That’s not just silly, it shows insecurity. Btw, if I was Yoruba, I’ll choose an Ogunlana or Ogundipe over something like some of the silly names I’ve heard people answer. |
