slimjohn2k5:I think police should’ve been involved. I don’t think he has any boss....this boy might come back more deadly and hurt that woman. Police should’ve been involved and his address obtained and parents or relatives alerted. They don’t know anything about him. He could go away, recover, trail the woman or any of those people who inflicted injuries on him and main or kill them. |
CowHard:If that was actually the building, his umunna, kinsmen need to hold an emergency meeting , then come back with local government bulldozer and pull that thing down. That building is a death trap and as risky as walking inside a mine field. |
Juliusmalema:Respect. |
ezenwajosh:How could anyone no matter how mean and wicked he is raise a machete and do this to a child or any human?? |
Juliusmalema:Juliusmalema: Premiumtimes You debunked the stories and video on the burning of Fulani huts in Oba, Idemili lga the other day. You carried out some research and made it known that such didn’t happen in Oba town in Anambra state... Today we are hearing that 6 Fulani children were killed in the Oba! That doesn’t sound right sir and I don’t believe this news. I think it’s a propaganda but a good one for Fulanis. I was abused endlessly by some fools because I was against the burning of the huts. I don’t believe that Fulanis would just disappear and leave children as young as that in that forest all by themselves...think about it. Where did all the adults go to including the women...leaving all those kids in the huts. Something isn’t right here. Nevertheless, I blame IPOB/ESN. Their videos are filled with so much noise. I SUPPORT ESN and do hope that they become more strategic and intelligent in the plans and actions. Nnamdi Kanu should also learn to shut his mouth. I don’t think he wants to be tied/connected with the murders of children. |

Juliusmalema:I doubt your sincerity. You’ve already assumed that it was bad. You didn’t ask for the source of the news and authenticity? |
This guy can’t be trusted. He might have been sent to pose as a Bayelsan discharged from the Nigerian Army so as gain sympathy from the locals....then next, he’d use the sympathy from the locals to penetrate IPOB and ESN. To hell with him with his tales. He is a potential spy. He should be treated as a disease. Cut him off. He is a liar. |
DennisEche:You and the idiot who started the ethnic banter here should ashamed of yourself. If you guys were Igbos then you are embarrassment to Igbos. |
peacekante:One man’s post should not be used to generalise and stereotype a group of people. I support Hausa/Fulani or whatever contesting elections even in my home town. Enugu is my home but from Anambra... Irrespective of my opinion or acceptance of non indigenes resident and contributing to the growth and development of a place to participate and contest in elections...... I still unapologetically believe that Fulanis must vacate the forests of the South East, they should stop moving their animals on the roads, I also believe that Federal government, Military and police lack the integrity to enforce equity and justice. Buhari practices nepotism with impunity and the security is corrupt. |
Orji Ogbonnaya Orji, a well-known Nigerian broadcaster, journalist, political economist and development communication specialist sits on the Editorial Board of Aro News, a leading community news channel of the Aros, south east Nigeria. Orji writes its popular column “Amaikpe”. Who is thinking what I’m thinking? Nwa-Amaikpe might be related to this man. I also saw Aro news... Putting two and two together... Nwaamaikpe might be same person as Okijajuju.... |
yanabasee1:I don’t think I like him too. I think he show off a bit too much...Peters mansion, Peters shoes, cars etc I see him or like him the way I like Dino Melaye... I think both seek attention and constitute nuisance to social media. ....I can’t deny the fact that he is talented, ambitious, creative and he is ‘in your face’ kind of person...that’s extremely pushy...no matter how much I try to avoid reading about him, I end coming back to have a look. About his product. I think he scored big here. I like the name ‘Aphro’...Afro-African-Black...Aphro could as well be aphrodisiac...The name makes you want to find out more. I like the shape of the bottle, design, colour. I like the fact that it’s from palm wine... at least it claims to be from palm. My curiosity made me to find out, even confirming my age before I could have a look at the products and I’m impressed with my discovery. I saw Moor, Nubi drinks confirming that Aphro here means black... I was expecting another flavour called Kush or Cush and I hope he will create more. I saw 150 or GHS 160 which I converted to pounds...just about £20. My verdict. I really really like this product. The guy has worked hard and deserve to reap rewards. If I can buy Port wine worth £20-25 as present for someone, I don’t see why I won’t buy Aphro drink. |
ThatEnuguboi:Oga, you don’t just set up camps inside the forests. Those people are huge security threats in any area that they set their feet. Forests belong to the people. Did you see how those palm trees have been spaced? Are you aware that no indigene or even government official can enter that place normally to either tap the palm or collect the palm fruits for oil processing and other products? Do you know the economic impact of the fulanis inhabiting and chasing away local palm wine tappers and sellers and also palm oil dealers whose livelihoods depend on that plantations? Think. This is not campaign against the fulanis but campaign against impunity and erosion of tradition and customs. Imagine the one they call Wakilu invading the forests of Ibarapa and preventing people from tending to and harvesting cashews and cocoas! Can any group of southerners go to the north set up huts and occupy areas around ground nut farms or other crops? I just didn’t support the burning of that area. |
I am against the burning of those huts. They should’ve just pulled it apart, pull them down, cut the sticks. They will just fall apart and enrich the soil. Imagine what that burning does to the palm trees! Burning of those huts inside that plantation was wrong. Very bad for the ecosystem that they were trying to protect. |
buckeyemedia:He was actually speaking from both sides of the mouth. He asked people to be brave and stand up and confront bandits because apparently they have less bullets than what the people think. How can civilians untrained in physical and armed conflict summon up courage and act like he suggested? Only a crazy man does that. If it were as easy as that, Nigeria police and military would have ended banditry, kidnappings, gun violence and even boko haram ages ago... ...encouraging people to be brave in the face of armed violence yet he advises against the use of arms by civilians. He was asking civilians to take the laws into their own hands. |
I was expecting a troubled white kid with messed up upbringing or a gangster black kid from a dysfunctional home but what am I seeing here I’m speechless . How did she get hold of that egbe awka? Police should investigate more, She must have some gangster/Naija cult siblings or friends and again, they should check the home she came from. Something must be wrong somewhere.Whatever the outcome, I pray this incident don’t affect her education. If she gets suspended or expelled from school, she will turn out worse. The report by the way this report is biased and unprofessional. Why link Prof Wole Soyinka to this. Soyinka fought against injustice. Soyinka’s Pirates would’ve been fighting corrupt lecturers, sex for mark lecturers like the one that impregnated 4 students in 4 years at UNN, he would’ve fought against incessant ASUU strikes. |
IamWonderful:Silly you, can a DPO shoot a Hisbah shariah man in the north? I heard it’s the other way round. Hisbah arrests inspector of police? My anger is that it was a Yoruba DPO that shot and killed Yoruba amotekun. This madness can’t happen in the north. |
cchub:That’s because Igbos mind their businesses but Tinubu, Remi, Oba Akiolu, Mc Oluomo and the one they installed as Iyaloja owomida Folashade Tinubu Ojo would be chasing them up and down stealing and robbing them... You will never see these set of thieves disturbing Hausa/Fulani businesses people in the markets despite the Hausas starting the troubles by stabbing and disembowelling a Yoruba man. This time, the claim is that a Hausa man killed a Yoruba man by hitting him with a charm! What nonsense. An Hausa man all the way from the north came with a more potent juju than a Yoruba man’s juju?? The fact is that the more aggressive Hausa man either beat up or hit an unsuspecting Yoruba man probably in the head and caused him massive neurological problems hence the vomiting and foaming in the mouth. Pls this is not juju. Where’s Opc when you need them? Where are awawa or whatever name they are called? |
With all the Hausa/Fulani impunity all over Nigeria and lately more attacks in the South west. Tinubu the Jagaban has not uttered any word . Osibanjo has said nothing or acted. What is wrong with these two people especially Bola Ahmed Tinubu? Is he still searching for the cows? Where is Folashade-Ojo? Very greedy set of people. Tinubu and his clan are waiting for things to cool so he’d go after Igbos and disturb their businesses. You won’t see the corrupt Folashade whose fake coronation was witnessed by Remi Tinubu and Oba Akiolu coming out to speak out or defend their people. They are only waiting for opportunities to invade the markets and extort and rob Igbo traders. Ogun scatter those greedy and corrupt people. Their evil empire will swallow them alive. |
These lawlessness and arson need to be checked. It might snowball into something more sinister. Police should be called to order but mob attacks at police stations won’t solve the problem. Oko police station was 100% community effort. No assistance from the federal, state or local government. Land was donated by the community and building financed 100% by the community. This was at the height of kidnapping that was ravaging Anambra state and Aguata/Orumba local governments at the time. Why burn it down? Why not sack the police from there? The building could be utilised for something else. This madness must stop. |
Moferere:Abuja knows the figure that has been instigating these troubles and destruction that’s why Gambari and IG of police paid ‘courtesy’ visit to Tinubu. Their gps led them to the source of The mayhem. Why are your traditional chiefs blaming ‘politicians’? Which politicians? Are they scared of calling a spade a spade?? Leave IPOB out of your mess, be brave and blame the bourdillion bullion van greedy man. |
360degreess:Stop saying things that you know nothing about. Alcohol isn’t forbidden in the bible. Drunkenness is forbidden. Moderate and responsible consumption of wine and alcohol is good. What’s the first miracle of Jesus Christ? |
flokii:Who will issue the quit notice?? You or Adeyinka grand baby idiot ?? ![]() You are all bunch of jokers. |
zionstaar75:You are not very smart. That house has been poorly constructed and irrespective of elevation, that house would be affected by heavy rainfall. Even on rocky hill, that was a bad construction. Visit that building during the rainy season or after a heavy down pour and observe the walls...and yes I can see all that from here. It’s a substandard housing and the paints will peel off in and out after repeated rain falls. |
TheChameleon:Same observation here, this is a very poor and substandard building. There was effort put into curtains and decorations than the building itself. The building is very vulnerable to flooding and damp. That building is a hazard. |
flyingpig:There are people out there with some cash who’s go to okirika-bend down select, buy loads of footwears and clothes not because they’d wear but to donate to less privilege people. Haven’t you seen people who would go to deprived areas like Ajegunle, Okokomaiko, Ajangbadi, buy plates of foods off mama put for tens of hungry kids but they wouldn’t sit by the drainage and sewer eating same food? How do you expect Germany to buy those boats when they are the king of engineering? |
athaboi:Tupac is gone, Biggie is gone, Proof of D12 is gone. Why would you want all the rappers dead? Don’t you like rap music? |
Xavfra:The Nigeria police force are shameless and bunch of misfits. Listen to the police commissioner. He said that IPOB burnt somebody beyond recognition but then said that the individual would be a Fulani man. How could a man in such a position incite and provoke an already fragile atmosphere by his foolishness. I only blame the politicians in the south east. South east lack leadership. El Rufai with his many troubles would react differently. Wike would react differently. |
psucc:What is wrong with his look and physique? The man looks fit and very healthy. Are you one of those who see fat necks and big tummy as sign of good health. The IG looks stronger and fitter than most 25 year olds. |
