agabaI23: So much sense my friend! I thought your only talent is being able to spot a beautiful lepa from miles away. Now I have another view of you Sagamite was very futuristic if you ask me. If the poster loves the girl, then he should take Sagamite's advice. . . But I believe the poster was only contemplating the idea of some extra curricular 'totovity'. |

chizillar: Personally, I don't like that word " Naija", It evokes a vulgar and uneducated feeling on us. Just reflect back to the adverts it was used on., "POWER OF NAIJA" .Combining good English with a Vulgar one. We can rebrand better. We are not English. 'Naija' was obviously coined from pidgin English which is a kinda national lingo. So what are you shooting at? |
Politics › Re: Say No To 'NAIJA' - Akunyili by slap1(m): 9:23am On Nov 16, 2010 |
America is referred to as Uncle Sam, no fuss. Nigeria is called Naija, big deal. Akunyili, the state universities in the South East are still on strike. Face your mouth towards the East or shut it up for good! |

I don't see how this news is great, things like this should be taken for granted. The NFF sec-gen is even reluctant to admit it was as a result of the seized arms! Who the hell is he afraid of? Nigeria has to take stronger action against Iran, like threatening to completely sever our ties with Iran. . . Ah! I miss Obasanjo! |

And to think that NO local tv station showed the match even our babes played in the finals is simply cringe-worthy. We spend generously where we shouldn't even spare a thought and fold our hands where we ought to spend. |

This is Naija. The guy made a mistake. Why in hell would he take their pics without their consent? To post it on Nairaland? Sorry bro, if your pocket is shallow, you got droppings to swallow! |

Sagamite: If she is young, you have the financial muscle and she is willing to learn, why not!
Two or three years with lessons in English, Maths, Elocution, an entrepreneurial course and a diploma in one other area that she is naturally talented in (e.g. art, business, journalism, fashion design, secreterial etc) and bam she is more polished up.
Some people are not fortunate enough to have the start in life some of us had. We can't write them off not in our class. That was my point! The theme of class was conspicious in the story and I think the goal is actually to make a mockery of the poor girl than to advise the poster. |
