gidgiddy: Let me put it this way. The UK structured in a way that the 4 component areas, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland all have their own governments and control their resources
Scotland is part of the UK but Scotland has so much powers to the extent that Scotland has its own currency, its own parliament, its own anthem and even its own military! The Scottish Army is known as the Scottish fusiliers. Those who want Nigeria restructured cannot even start to dream of the level of restructuring Scotland enjoys. But despite that, Scotland is ruled by the Scottish Nationalists Party and they got Scotland an independence referendum in 2014. They are currently planning another referendum in 2022.
Even if Nigeria is restructured into Regions, any of those Regions will still have the right to seek self determination Well, okay. |

Chiedu4Trump: Nigerian cant survive this Nigeria is very difficult to break. The only thing strong enough to break this country now will be if the protesters push for the demands in the attached pix, which are even more important and consequential. This government will never agree to most of those demands and it may become the people versus the government. |

Kccheechy: Mine was in exam hall. Final year 2nd semester exams. We were writing MTH425. After reading for so long, my head just went blank. I couldn't assimilate anything anymore. My friend who I had taken as a brother studied with me. I got into the exam hall as saw the questions. You know how exam questions can be na, 1 question will have so many children under it. Out of four we are to answer, I knew just 1 and even that 1 I couldn't answer it completely. if I failed that course, it would earn me an extra year in school. I was confused and spent. Most of the questions came from our handouts but to solve one question can take a full page of A4 paper on both sides. My brain just couldn't take it anymore. My friend was sitting behind me and was already on his third question. You know how we communicate in the hall na. I asked him to help me with one question so I can answer two in total. He assured me that he would help me with the answers to one question. My hopes were high. Only for my guy to stand up to go and submit and left the hall. Went out and started laughing. If he was laughing at me I can't remember. I was shocked!!! If he didn't want to help me, he should have told me then I know what to do. He left me hanging. Till today I can't understand why he did that. The thought of spending another year in school because of 1 course really broke my heart. when I saw there was nothing else I could do, I went to submit my almost blank answer booklet. Long story short, I got a D grade in that course. That was far better than repeating another year. My ex-friend got a D grade to upon everything. Very bleeped up nigga. The guy is envious of you, if you check. |

[s] nsiba: There are posts you will see and you will easily know that it was written out of FRUSTRATION, what will any state in South South benefit with SE most especially they are mainly driven with IPOB mentality? It is well known that in their IPOB imaginary BIAFRA map so many non-Igbo enclaves are in it, this the South South States have severally warned against such childish nuisance together drawing their attention that the SSouth have no intention for any Union of whatsoever. Feeling pained instead of seeking better alternative, propagandas like " southeast don't need SSouth, Onitsha ports takes delivery of Cargo whatever " and others wet blankets posts seems to be order of the day from this IPOB frustrated lots. Edo + Delta, Rivers + Bayelses, AkwaIbom + CRivers are States bigger in sizes than the entire SEast and fewer in population and heavily richer in resources than the SE so why will any of the state want to join with IPOBs that have nothing reasonable to offer? By force "attaché" and by force consolation posts will not make any SS States to join with SE states, cause there is absolute nothing beneficial. The ego problem among the Five SE states indigenes is legendary yet you lots think you know better for the SSouth states, what a joke! [/s] Lol. Pained fool, haven't you received the memo?! WE SAY WE NO WANT UNA AGAIN! HABA! You people are completely useless to us. Please learn to live with this new fact. Thank you. |

[s] obehi247: I still laugh when they say onitsha have port... It is a river port and not a sea port and If any of the Niger Delta states that have the waterway where the vessels come from into the onitsha port decide to stop such vessel, it be the beginning and end of the said onitsha river port.... [/s] Another fool. |

[s] Abasman008: I hate the fact that someone will just use every opportunity to make sure they look for a way to show that you are useless and they are more useful than you are. Somone from SE made a post that they don't need the SS, instead of stopping there after he made his point clear, he still went ahead to pour deterogatory statements on SS and why SE does not need SE who is useless. He went as far as threatening that should the SS not give way to sea that they'll take it by force. Next is when someone posted about the SS not being part of Biafra, people from the SE attacked the person with words of how the SS is useless and polluted, with multiple ethnic confused people. Just because people want to be alone? Why all these words? In between people that will be neighbors one day? Must the SE always make mockery of everyone? That not withstanding, I can say that Oduduwa might be born , Niger Delta Republic born and SE is still part if Nigeria. People who are serious and Knows what they want go undercover and do what they want without announcing it.. no prisoners tries to escape by alerting the prison guards. [/s] If you're friendly with the Igbo people you will be acknowledged as a friend and brother. But since you're postured as an enemy you will be regarded as one. Now gerrout. |

So do we think we will continue to see cargo berthing at the river Niger, or is just a temporary thing? As far I know the Onitsha waterway is navigable virtually round the year. By smaller vessels like barges. |
