Finally WES report out, five days ahead of schedule. Unilorin, thank you oh! I had to get a Professor that works there to get them to check their mails and respond, after over six weeks of WES sending confirmation mail. This was after another two months of hustling transcript. In all, I give thanks!

Now the wait for ITA begins....

Hi,

A friend's boss went for an interview in Accra about 2 months ago. It was because her NOC and job duties didn't seat well with the VO. They told her that she claimed to be a manager/supervisor but her duties didn't portray that. So she basically had to defend her duties & title and prove to them that she is indeed a supervisor. Her passport was collected from her same day and visa issued while she was still in Ghana(I think, or maybe mailed to her) so it ended well. She has done soft landing sef and returned to Naija.

Did you see your GCMS notes at any point? that might give you a hint of what the interview will be about. If yes then please go there prepared for all possible questions. God be with you. I wish you the very best.

Hello, I believe you used USD in your conversion instead of CAD. For a family of 1 it is less than 3.5M (using 285NGN to 1CAD) so if you can raise 2.5M you only need about 1M. Try to get a family member (or friend) to do you a giftdeed for the balance. Please don't let that hold you back. Start the process ASAP write the IELTS and do ECA while you sort out your POF. All the best.

This OOU wahala is something else. Mine was done after two months. As far as i know, only mrs Kaka can do it.. Disturb her like crazy. I called her so much that she knew my name by heart anytime I call lol

If they must employ more hands then they should.I have being on verification stage for 3 weeks now and the only institution I don’t have a contact was the only one that has responded.... kudos to WAEC.Even with the increase number (recorded over 50,000)applicants in a month, they were still able to do their jobs without pulling a string.... All All Unilag knows is to extort and they would claim “University of first choice”..my foot! As for Lautech, I just dey observe, I would literally ask WES to remove the certificate.How can an institution that generates internal revenue from transcript ,admission and the likes claim their network was struck by thunder since last week yet they haven’t resolved the issue? And they complain the states government running them are sabotaging? What’s the difference btw 6 and half a dozen? Hmmmm, I don calm small.Na dem go tire las las.

M so sorry. Been under a lot of pressure this week as am relocating to Australia next week. Actually have Aussie PR, so we done pop champagne before before. PPR came as a surprise. Started Canadian route in Jan, 2018 when the Aussie PR got delayed (13 months) and i started to loose hope of getting a positive response. Wrote IELTS- Feb 2018, verification of my credentials delayed so entered pool in April and got ITA in May. Applied for Canny visa July 20, but wasnt really expecting PPR so soon. It hasn't really sunk in as have been busy packing and trying to sell some of my stuff..... God has really wiped away all my tears. This time last year, I was in tears cos we received bad news concerning our Aussie visa application. See how God works. He gave us double for our trouble......Eyin Oluwa logooo!!!!!

WES insisted that until the 7weeks of waiting elapsed they wont be sending another request.
The waiting period was over on the 14th of September, then WES finally send another request on the 18th of September....SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN CALLING MRS KAKA, AND EVERY CONTACT I HAVE IN OOU.

Today i was told Mrs Kaka is sick and not around.

PLEASE IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO...I started WES since late March and OOU has been keeping me from even creating my EE Profile till date.

Any ideas /suggestion?
Is there anyone from OOU that can Help?
I pray that no one goes through this but is there anyone here also facing this?

I am also following Mrs Kaka closely she stopped picking my calls since last week Wednesday. I too dunno what next to do, I was also told she wasn't at work yesterday and I am praying she will respond to WES today. The wait is crazy believe me I understand. It will surely end in praise. When I saw this, it reminded me of how I wished August AORs would tell us the stages they are in since they are the first since biometrics was introduced. Then it dawned on me that since my AOR was Sept5 I could as well share.
We received ITA on Aug 22, submitted Sept5(we submitted around 11pm our time) and within mins got the AOR, when we woke up our background had changed to ".......processing your background check". I quickly joined myimmitracker and kept watching how August AORs were quickly changing colours. I observed that Medicals were passed in the order of AORs at least 70% of the times And you would receive a mail to go for biometrics same time. So, since mine was on the 5th, it would come a day after Sept4 AORs got their mails. I counted the days

Thanks for sharing, your PPR is very close. A friend of mine- AOR August 20th got PPR on October 5th. She was very worried about her application because sometime in 2010 she applied for a UK visa and an agent added a fake bank statement to her application long story short she got a 10year ban. But she came clean about the whole situation to CIC by filling a schedule A form upfront and giving them a detailed account of all that happened. Alas they didn't care about it cos she has her PPR now. Moral of the story is to be as truthful as possible in our applications and trust God to handle the rest. All the best to all of us.
