I have read most of the posts here by different posters and I must say this. You must choose what side you want to be. If you condone this because you were ill-advised to go back home and suck up stuff as if nothing happened you my friend is going to take most of the curses. In Africa when you wed traditionally there are curses that follow when d 'contract' is broken. So If understand this case very well I'll say is something along this line.

- Misunderstanding with MIL
- Wife is cheating on you.
- Wife has MILs backing. (Part 1 curse)
- You are about to condone (Part 2 curse & worse (could be fatal))

For your info curses most often affect the men or their children and seldomly affect the actual culprit(woman). Please take this matter very seriously. When someone is a christian and does something bad BABA upstairs shuts his eyes to that person and then the forces of darkness can come into your home and have a field day.

My Advice.

Return home ASAP and make WAR. Your wife and her mother must leave. Throw their things out and shut your door towards them. Take no calls from anyone. If anyone is interested in settling you guys they must come personally and not over the phone. Jesus is the head of your home and Jesus has made u the physical head of your home so your wife comes under you. If she is really interested in you she'll come begging. She can't come begging alone or with friends. She must come with a couple of male family members from both sides. (Your side and that of your wife). After you have seen true remorse and repentance from her. You take her to the church for repentance, cleansing and thanksgiving. You must show no signs of weakness from the period u throw out her things and that of her mum to the time they come begging. When neigbhours come around to settle you guys or ask what happened do not divulge any information. Just stay quiet and let it be a family matter. I can't emphasize enough that neighbours must be kept guessing what's going on. Only immediate family elders must be aware of your travails. The family elders or your family on both sides must not know of what happened from you. Let your wife be the one to tell them what happened. Never go to visit your in-laws or speak with them on phone while all this is going on. Visit when you have settled. Give a time frame of 2 weeks for your wife to come begging and if she doesn't setup a far prettier lady with better education and wealth to come around the house to spend time and just make sure you do your thing in front of prying eyes. I'm sure you'll keep your dignity and get faster results this way. May God be with you.

Most of d posts here are hitting d nail on d head. If u can't be submissive then break up and go for a guy that is moreorless aloof. I know most 9ja men want d submissive woman. Our Lord God wiped out an entire generation of Israelites through jealousy. It was simple they bowed before idols. Jealousy is a tool that is lurking at the stupid partners door. When u know dat eating meat will cause ur brother to stumble we've been advised to refrain from eating meat. When u know ur partner doesn't like certain actions u stop it or @ least try to. Jealousy for me is an indicator to show love, possessiveness, stupidity, understanding & above all maturity.
Jealousy has nothing to do with control. If a man or lady can't control his or her impulses that person for isn't mature enuf. Everyone is weak at something. I have a different theory as to how it is possible for people to loose money through ATMs. These ATMs are computers with a machine attached to them to dispense money so I believe the guys from the technical department install trojans/viruses to capture your card details anytime you go to cash money at the ATMs. My advice to anyone will be

1.to make sure withdrawals are only made at ATMs situated at banks.
2. Create 2 accounts e.g. Current & savings or savings/current hybrid & savings. Tie the ATM card  to your current or hybrid accounts and not your savings account. Leave little money in ur ATM account and transfer most of it to ur savings.
3. Use at least 3 debit cards tied to 3 different banks and leave small sums in them.
4. Save the number/s of ur bank branch, accounts officer, debit card company e.g. Interswitch, Visa, mastercard in ur phone. Have them on speed dial if possible.

I am of  the opinion that the card companies should operate an SMS service using an SMS code that enables a cardholder to self destruct his card or temporarily disable his card until he directs otherwise.

I got tired of reading some of the bad advises proffered here. Lady, do you actually think life will be back to normal if you leave? I'm trying to see things from your husbands perspective. Firstly you seem to have Everything going for you. Seems you have no use for his money, no use for him on bed, you Require no emotional support, he basically has nothing to look forward to from you. It seems you bring him into the picture when you have already decided on what to do.
He doesn't feel like a man because it seems you are the man. Why would he want to bring you down if you don't rub it in his face? Your marital problems seem big an insurmountable when it basically boils down to respect. Smart women know what they want and know how to make it look like their husband brought up the idea, money, whatever. You just haven't made your husband feel like he rules over you & until you do these problems of your wouldn't go away. Trust me its going to be more difficult out there without your husband. Why would your husband want your downfall? Does he feel what is yours is his or he feels you're trying to be the boss? You're stepping on his ego so he is on self destruct button. He like you knows what he wants but I think you're too busy and too self centered to see that. If you show him that he and all that is his is your main priority you probably will see the change you crave. Above all you need to fast & pray. Probably in hitting the self destruct key he brings home powers & principalities from the pits of hell all in the name of pleasure seeking. Hi everyone, I must say interesting. I particularly have to give props to whoever raised d question. Some people here are hypocrites. As if they've never beaten a woman or perhaps slapped or had a minor scuffle with a woman before. First of I have never beaten a woman but I have had scuffles. As for me, I do not believe men & women are equal. God didn't make them equally. There is an order. God-Man-Woman. Also men are generally stronger, wiser & less emotional in their judgments. Women it must be said have qualities unique to them that makes them excel. My theory is without women I think this world will be too practical and far less emotional. So men & women compliment eachother very well. If you are like me who doesn't believe in hitting a woman because I see them as weaklings then when faced with this problem I must tell you it takes strong principles and very high level of self discipline to restrain yourself from hitting a woman. Let me site various examples using myself as a case study. I don't believe in hitting women so when I quarrel with a woman it doesn't even cross my mind to hit her. However there is a problem when you come across in my words 'militant' women. Women that will hit you at the slightest opportunity. What do you do in such scenarios? Especially after she has hit you & you haven't replied she now switches back to the tongue bashing using statements ''Show me you are a man'' and someother times when she sees its not working she decides to attack you so viciously that you are torn between your principles & an all out repraisal. In such situations you have to use strenght to overpower her, hold her down until she cries and pleads for mercy. NB. Never hit her. Women tend to get the message. If she is mouthy & you always run from a verbal fight, one day stay on prepare tongue tool and dissect her, if she sees you're winning she'll want to result to a different strategy which most likely will be hitting you. If you aren't hitting back she'll go mad & want to go for a full scale war. Make sure you don't hit her, over power her & hold her down until she begs. This is only solution for a woman with a history of violence. Tame her back into the civilized world. I repeat never strike a woman. Once U start you almost never stop. There is a spirit behind hitting women which has to gotten rid off. Different senarios call for different measures.
