I am very conversant with Anambra politics. Truth is, Peter Obi is not a propagandist nor a noisemaker so its easy to misconstrue his personality. He has performed excellently in rural areas and those people count massively in elections. That's a FACT. Besides, PDP is dead in Anambra because Peter Obi represents their interest at the state level. Believe this or not, Peter Obi will greatly influence the choice of whoever succeeds him. The man knows the game very well that's why he is very relaxed.

Afam4eva: I don't live in Anambra but i've studied the pattern of grassroot support that Peter Obi and Ngige has i'm forced to believe that Ngige has more support. I can't explain it but whenever Ngige attends a local even, you see people hailing him even more than the governor.

LIES LIES! Ngige's block support comes from Idemmili LGA alone. I heard this funny talk of Ngige's popularity just before the 2010 election but guess what? he was thrashed by Peter Obi and there was no single protest anywhere. I accept that Ngige is quite popular with Idemmili people but Peter Obi has a better grassroots support in Anambra due to the fact that he has been developing most rural areas in Anambra State, a stark contrast to what Ngige did(Repaired Idemmili roads alone).
