gbanikiti: most of my igbo brothers on this forum are delusional. Dede takes the lead. stop wasting your precious time replying them. smhThe moment you stop lying to yourself about your ethnicity, the better for you. Nobody recognizes you as Igbo in here, so you are free to fraternize openly with your Yoruba brothers. Its no crime dear. One love. |
gbanikiti: At least you agree with me he is a liar! a bloody one for that matter.Your own hypocrisy stinks to high heavens! Peace |
DerideGull: There are no palatable reasons for any normal person to bear falsehood on this forum. It is unfortunate there are no checks for mental balance before individuals are allowed to post on this forum.Well said! |
gbanikiti: blah blah blah.... you just a pathetic liar! infact i have nothing to say to you. abeg park one corner make i enjoy the thread. the next time you quote me on this forum either with this moniker or Dede1, i won't fail to hurl insults at you. Elder my foot! nonsense!!You have spread more lies on this forum than Dede1, so respect yourself for once Berem. |
PointB: My guy quit prancing around. It's a greater betrayal to hang Rochas to dry for foolish pride! We true Igbo will need no prompting to drop GEJ for Rochas, a better all round leader, when the time come. Blood is always thicker than water! And in your warped mind you think this is a GEJ vs Rochas case? My guy, its Rochas vs Igbos. If APC presents him as their candidate, I can easily forgive all his atrocities and stand behind him but if not, woe betide him for allowing his brothers use him to gain political power. Its a politics of regional interest and my region comes first. Rochas needs to understand that too. |
Abagworo: Many people were commenting without verification. If not that I decided to verify, I would have believed same. Shame on all those that drafted this falsehood and spread on social media.http://www.imostateblog.com/2012/01/27/bombshell-killings-of-igbo-people-were-cooked-for-unknown-reason-as-such-they-are-baseless-and-unfounded-governor-okorocha/ And this is fake too? you are an irredeemable sycophant. Quote me anyday. |
gbanikiti: Is there anything wrong with what he said?Nothing is wrong with what he said my dear. Absolutely nothing. I have provided you with the link, so its left for you and your conscience alone to read whatever meaning u desire out of it. |
PointB: He was in Kano; and had meeting with many in Sabo Gari. Perhaps couldn't meet everyone personally, but he did make an attempt. Question is, how many other Igbo leaders did this at that time?Am done giving you attention.Believe whatever you want to but when the time comes, we Igbos will talk to Rochas. Keep on deceiving yourself. |
Abagworo: I'm still waiting for the link.http://www.facebook.com/AnyimPiusAnyim/posts/241781952566378 See Igbos bashing the clown. |
Abagworo: Where's the link you liar?http://www.9jabook.com/forum/topics/igbo-killings-in-kano-is-false-gov-rochas-okorocha-amina-namadi-s Here is the link you bloody sycophant. Shame on you a thousand times. |
gbanikiti: I also need the link to that statement if really he said it.Ohaneze were busy doing this n the aftermath of the January 20 bomb attacks that rocked the commercial city of Kano when militants of Boko Haram sect struck, a total of 500,000 Igbo in the state are known to have been evacuated to their respective country homes in the South-East. This was confirmed at the weekend by the Kano State chairman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Tobias Idika, who also revealed that the exercise was continuous. He told our correspondent in a chat that so far, the figure represents mostly women and children who were traumatised by the devastating Boko Haram attack According to Idika, over 300,000 of the 500,000 evacuees were handled by Ohanaeze through the Igbo Elders Forum, adding that they dispatched six for the operation. The remaining 200,000 he said, sponsored their respective movements at different times during the crisis, adding that the exercise was very successful. He recalled how hundreds of women and children eager to flee the troubled states following the bomb blasts slept on bare floors at the Ohanaeze secretariat in Kano for over a week waiting to be evacuated. “We remain grateful to the Igbo Elders Forum for this wonderful support and Ndigbo in Kano especially, the beneficiaries have also sent their gratitude to the Forum, for coming to their aid at the time of need. Idika said at the moment, the evacuation exercise has been suspended to enable them evaluate the situation which outcome will decide the next step to take. While Rochas was busy doing this Kano — The Imo State Governor Chief Rochas Okorocha has said that all the phone calls and text messages sent to the East that Igbo indigenes living in Kano were massacred in Kano during the last Friday series of bomb blasts were false and baseless rumors that have no basis. Okorocha told Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso that he was personally disturbed at the rate of phone calls and text messages that were sent to the east that many soles of Igbo people were killed in the multiple bomb blasts of Kano which necessitated his visit to see for himself. The Imo governor noted that on his arrival he went to Sabon Gari where many of his people live, ' but after going round and meeting with virtually everybody all of them denied that the story of killings of Igbo people were cooked for unknown reason, as such they are baseless and unfounded'. He said already he had directed that all those that have started running away to stay behind as there was no basis for their leaving Kano, as the government of Kwankwaso is doing all it could to ensure the safety of all the non indigenes and the teeming people of the state. He said that Igbo's were assets not only to themselves to the nation wherever they go. "Igbos are never a threat to anybody because what concerns an Igbo man is his business, that is why they should be seen as brothers not enemies', he said. He said Nigeria is facing a more fundamental and challenging period that requires all its citizenry to come together and solve them, he said they must see themselves as their brothers' keepers not enemies as some want to see them. He urged the federal government to provide more security to Kano because of its population and cosmopolitan nature, just as he urged Kwankwaso to give more priority in times of security to areas like Sabon Gari so that non indigenes should feel safe and at home. He assured that Nigeria would come out with a more brighter future from the challenges they are facing, '"but this does not mean we should fold our arms and leave the evil ones among us to continue to control our lives, we have to do something to stop them." |
Abagworo: I need a link to what Rochas said in Kano.Google it yourself. |
Desola: Ok, Ok, I see your point. Now i know why someone posted this about you "I know you are very slow on intellectual exercise but very quick to certain human endeavors". |
PointB: 1. Igbos were not the only one 'slaughtered' in Kano (indeed the North). At some point the attacks were randoms; we bear the brunt more obviously mainly because we are ubiquitous. Besides, Igbos who stay in the North opt to stay there, we can't force everyone to come home.On your first point, that's arrant nonsense. SO because we weren't the only ones killed there, our leaders should have allowed it to continue? What nonsense?. Rochas goofed big time on that and many igbos are yet to forget that. Personally, i agree with you on the second point although i don't see that happening. |
Desola: Seriously, you think you can actually strike a bargain with GEJ for him to put you forward for the next presidential election? Shall I give you a minute to think that over and perhaps re-write that sentence again? For real. A rude awakening awaits you come 2019. As long as PDP presents an Igbo candidate come 2019, its over. We have waited for it patiently and now that we can feel it, no amount of threat, propaganda, blackmail or sabotage can stop us. That's why APC is a BIG NO NO for IGBOS. We can do without the Northerners block votes as long as we can pull up to 25percent in those states with block votes from SS and the middle belt. I hope you now see why backing GEJ is the best thing for us as per our political survival. Thanks |
DerideGull: Berem, |
Desola: Let's not lose our heads here and focus on that which is possible. It seems to me that you are trying to circumvent a cogent argument by stressing on the nomination of Utomi as the APC's presidential candidate when you know that it is virtually impossible. Impossible because no where has it been said that Utomi is a member of APC and we must be cognisant of the fact that based on the rotational presidency we appear to practice, the bringing forward of another candidate from the South South is well, for lack of a better word - "dead on arrival". Nigerian people, especially the south would not fold their arms while watching another South Southerner being voted to take their slot. And that would be? Truth is, APC wont even present a candidate of Igbo extraction so its safer for us to back GEJ come 2015 and wait for out turn in 2019. With GEJ in control of PDP, we can easily strike a bargain with him as per PDP presenting an Igbo candidate in 2019. Its a pity, its all about regional interest in Nigeria and i think my region will fare better under PDP. Thanks |
OAM4J: The posts were hid already over an hour ago by Afam. Try and refresh your browser. Thanks to you and Afam. |
Desola: APC would be foolish to present utomi, not because he's not popular but because he is a south southerner first before being "ibo". For one, there is the notion that the I jaws constitute the majority in the SS and that other deltans do not see the delta ibos as true deltans so by default, the majority of the SS votes goes to Jonathan. However, if mainstream ibos get behind utomi despite him not being a core ibo man, then the balance could indeed be tipped but your hatred and distrust for anything Yoruba and the phobia for Hausa would far weigh you down which would make you go for the devil you know(Jonathan) rather than the angel you ought to know better. That's a blatant lie. We cant betray our own when we know he is competent and has a good chance of winning. The question is... Will APC leaders allow this?. Believe me, if APC can present Utomi, they would be sure of block votes from SE, guaranteed. |
Abagworo: I've posted pictures on his infrastructural strives but I know you just want a bait. You won't see me disputing whatever facts who bring up here on his achievements as i am not from Imo state and have not been there for 3 years now. I have listed the issues i have with him as regards regional interests and i know you cant dispute that either. |
OAM4J: Cos of the phrase "Some silly and idiotic Nigerians" - The name calling and insult is uncalled for, such will only make those who oppose your POV to feel insulted leading to free flow of insults.Oga MOD, what about this? Re: What Is Wrong If Rotimi Amechi Is Interested In The Presidency? by kingoflag(m): 6:25pm On Jun 05 My dude, shut the Fxuck up, you Imb.ecile. Amaechi is a traitor for being ambitious, but GEJ is not a traitor for breaking all agreements and reneging on his promise to stay for only one term? https://www.nairaland.com/1314372/what-wrong-rotimi-amechi-interested MODs please do your jobs. I cant understand why this kid is allowed to throw insults up and down without a single ban. MODS do your jobs please. Afam4eva and Sexkills take note. It's like this dude has been given the monopoly of abuses on NL. |
Desola: Utomi na ibo man again? Abeg leave matter, Gej has taken utomi's slot.Let me ask you something. Do you think that if PDP drops GEJ and picks an Igboman for 2015 that the yorubas and Hausas would support him? haba. lets be honest in our discourse my dear. All the regions want power and they don't really give a damn about competence. APC needs power by all means and it doesn't matter who PDP presents. For us in the SE, i believe GEJ has defended our interests to an extent but we still believe our "own" can do better but we need a real "igboman" and not a man whose interest is divided. Let APC present Utomi and you will see the difference. |
PointB: In which way is his Igboness in doubt? In many ways. 1.How can a man run to Kano and plead with Igbos to stay back and be slaughtered just to impress his hausa brothers? Well meaning leaders like Obi and Uwazurike were sending buses to convey umuigbo back home and this clown was busy playing politics. 2. When APC was about to be formed, their leaders reached out to the leaderships of CPC,ACN and ANPP and didn't bother coming to confer with Igbo leaders. Yet the clown called Rochas ran to join the association claiming to represent APGA. 3. Have you ever seen a Muslim Governor erecting Churches in his states? huh? Embarrassingly, We are still playing regional politics in Nigeria and i will root for anybody, be it a yoruba man or an Hausa who defends and fights for my people's interest. |
Desola: Whether he represents your interests or not, he cannot win. Your best bet remains Jonathan and you all know it.Not exactly Desola. Chime will thrash GEJ any day, anytime in the SE if presented by a big party, and so will Utomi. |
PointB: Igbo here should stop slating Okorocha.Nobody is slating him. We all love him as an "igboman", but we need to see him show that love back. Unfortunately, he is more concerned with impressing his hausa brothers. |
Rhino.5dm:The man's issues started after his elections. I am trying so hard to be civil with you but my patience will run out soon. |
dinachi: Enough of talking, I intend to open a thread for genuine sons and daughters of igbo land to begin to brainstorm on how to make sure Our revered language is spoken in Aso Rock again come 2015. Enough of being bystanders, the Ijaw hypocrisy will not deter us. They desperately need us but they dont have to be using lies and division to get our support. A Rochas in Aso Rock in 2015 will resurrect the spirit of Igbo nationalism within Nigeria. This is our last chance. A word is enough...........Brother, i have nothing against his presidential ambition, but we must first know if he represents our interest or that of his hausa cousins. |
PointB: If Rochas is presented as flag bearer of a major political party, well I suppose GEJ will have to take the back seat. Not while his IGBONESS is still in question. |
Abagworo: Is it Rochas or APGA that is joining APC? It is obvious that Rochas has to either join ACN or APC or float his own party. He won Imo State election because of his personal popularity and used APGA just as a platform. The APGA people were stalling his development plans and trying to give him conditions when they played little or no role in his emergence and his other choice was to return to PDP which is under Ohakim's control. Even if APC doesn't work, Rochas will definitely join another party.Eziokwu? Okorocha has the right to nurture a presidential ambition but he must put his people's interest before his. Running to Kano to ask Igbos to stay back and be slaughtered just to gain favor from his Hausa cousins is very irresponsible. Running to join APC on-behalf of APGA while he is neither the APGA chairman nor the party Leader shows how desperate and foolish he is too. Dude is gradually becoming a laughing stock. |
Okija juju: Even that Monkey-Faced Yoruba man called Rauf Aregbesola sef is 100 times better than Rochas Okorocha.GBAM! eziokwu ka ikwuru. ![]() |
Abagworo: Rochas is the dumbest Igbo leader today and some people are jealous of that. But why?FIXED |
fyne_Ijay: If, (Nuhu Ribadu, Fashola, Oshiomole, Okonjo Iweala, Charles Soludo, Oby Ezekwesili, Donald Duke, Namadi Sambo, Peter Obi, Dora Akunyili, etc) decides to contest now, you will still make the same idi0tic statement. There is nothing idiotic about his statement. Learn how to address people on public forums please. I believe all the names he listed are far more intelligent and responsible than Okorocha. Add Yuguda, Utomi and Mimiko to that list. |
