For a family woman, with the option of a FG job, a bank job is a no go. |
Grassroot man. Lovely. |
Nigerians sef. They never question the source of poverty. Jealousy is too much in this country abeg. |
Nigerians have a big problem. My land. My state. We want Biafra. My arewa. My tribe is not the leader. My church member needs my support. Poor man's mentality. We are all Nigerians. Our country is corrupt. It is hard for all of us not just the Ibos. Poor, frustrated and illiterate traders will be shouting IPOB and be putting the lives of hard working Ibo men at risk. I am an Ibo man. I am proud to be a Nigerian. I am proud to be Ibo. |
ifyan:Wrote it twice but still got it wrong. |
The OP's mother is wicked while the OP's mother in law is a bad mother for trying to arrange for the daughter to leave her husband. |
backtosender:My opinion is to stay in Nigeria. I am not speaking AGAINST MY ETHNIC GROUP. You have your opinion on Biafra and I have mine. |
Ngokafor:Nne, everybody is collecting their fair share of slaps in this country. Nepotism is everywhere. Ibos are not the only victims. |
. |
backtosender:If you read my opinion well, you'd realise I did not praise a country. I referred to the blacks and their stance in the face of great oppression. Nigeria is my country. I will stand for my right as a Nigerian and not run to another country. Omo my daily hustle has nothing to do with where I come from. Naija dey OK for me. I am not less Nigerian than a Yoruba or Hausa man. QED. |
The Ibekwe's arguement was biased, but truth is many Ibos, particularly the educated and those not resident in the east, do not want the Biafra thingy. For many reasons.. . 1. Ibos are too many 2. Ibos are too divided. 3. There is no land for expansion 4. The economy of the east cannot contain the high influx of more unemployed Youths it a new country is created. 5. Ibos are not united. Because with one voice and the number of Ibos in Nigeria, Nigeria should have had at least one Ibo president. Personally I do not see how Biafra will change my life. Let me hustle like any other Nigerian. The suffering in Nigeria is affecting all of us. It is not peculiar to one tribe. Instead of dancing to the tune of ambitious politicians, and crying marginalization, we should be able to stand up for our rights. Blacks in America did not ask for a new black country, but stood up and demanded for equal rights with the whites. Running away has never solved any problem. |
Let Buhari bring his waec result first. But why are apc members synonymous with certificate forgery? |
Just like they wanted us to believe he needed a bank loan to contest the election. I don't believe. Even if it is true, assuming he is not stealing any money now, if God blesses a man and in his life time, he was a Nigerian General, a military governor, a minister of petroleum, a ptdf chairman, a former Nigerian military head of state, a war time military officer and you have just 150 cows to show for it, then your case is not only a sorry story, but also a huge disappointment and disgrace. God has not given some of us those opportunities yet and our lives are seemingly better than Buhari's lie of a life before he became a president...and na only by sweat and Oluwa blessing. Poverty does not mean sincerity. Riches does not mean corruption. A rich man may have worked hard and used his opportunities well. Some poor people are lazy and wasted the opportunities God gave them. Let us stop celebrating poverty and may it remain far from me and my household. |
We are yet to hear the real truth as both sides are telling stories to paint them in a good light and the other as a villain, hence I withhold my judgement on the matter. But somethings stand out. 1. The lecturer had a good rapport with the student. 2. The student cannot be claiming rape or innocence when she was describing her house for a man to come late at night which means either she wanted him or she wanted to set him up. 3. The lecturer failed the student in her exams and by all correspondence from the girl and her boyfriend, they do not seem so smart and I believe the school should order for a remark of their scripts...they will still fail though. 5. After the purported attempted rape, the victim or her boyfriend did not report to the school but went online to post unclad pictures. What do I think? The girl made an accusation of rape and the picture of an unclad man and a lot of write ups in bad English are no convincing evidence of an attempted rape. Why was the issue not reported to the school authorities? Why was the lecturer not reported to the police if she felt she won't get justice in the school? Does she have any medical evidence of the attempted rape? This stinks like an attempted blackmail of a randy lecturer by an academically poor student. |
Irrespective of the political, ethnic and religious bias that plagues us as Nigerians, I still do not understand how any sane person will be supporting the suppression of our God given freedom of speech. Shame on anybody encouraging our suppression as RESPECTABLE human beings. It has nothing to do with political affiliations. Our great forefathers that fought for our freedom were neither APC nor PDP members. Let us watch our utterance and not sell our birth right for a bowl of porridge. I stand against the use of government machinery to silence critics. This is democracy, or it is supposed to be a democracy. |
No need to spread panic @OP. Having an account number, email and phone number doesn't DIRECTLY mean your money in your account is at risk. And why change your 'email password' and 'ATM PIN', as advised by my dear OP, when the account number, email and phone number are still the same? Just doesn't make plenty logical sense. They are not exposed as long as the ATM number and PIN of the ATM cards of our beloved Mavrodians were not compromised. All PONZI schemes are scam though, IMO. My sympathies to those who lost their money. Lets not blame them, Naija hard. |
.. |
I really avoid commenting on MMM issues because those who invest in MMM are all adults over 18 years and they are supposed to be educated enough know the extremely high risks in a PONZI SCHEME and still put their money in the scheme. It was not because of 'bad belle' that the authorities warned Mavrodians and prospective Mavrodians of the illegality and risks inherent in MMM. It is not my business though, but anyone that puts his money into MMM again is either extremely greedy, an extreme risk taker, no other source of income, or his village people have found his number. Let's look for a genuine work and do. MMM 'no be work'. There are real hardworking entrepreneurs looking for investors, let's finance them and watch our real investments grow. Advice no be curse and e no get shame. |
It is better for Obi not to go to school than to go and fail woefully. The OP just gave a trashy list. Nigerian rice has been a brand from the time of GEJ. In the last government we could buy bags of rice 8k. Local producers had it so good. I know a couple of them from the north east to the south east. No more free money? lol. Anybody that says there is no more free money is either really ignorant or is part of the people with access to the free money. Xmas without fuel scarcity? After increasing fuel price who is talking of scarcity again? Previous government reduced fuel price and there was no scarcity during the festive season. No bomb blasts? Have you been living under a rock? Atleast 3 bomb attacks with over 70 lives lost and hundreds of people injured. If you were on the N-Power payroll, will you call yourself employed? No more subsidy? Lie of the year, when the value of the naira is dropping faster than a rain drop? TSA implementation is argued to be part of the causes of the present stagflation in the country. Implementing TSA is not the wisest thing to do in an economy where the government is the biggest spender. It reduces corruption but... Nigeria was the largest economy in Africa when the present administration took over and in the top 10 of the fastest growing in the world, economically, Nigeria is worse off today than it was on the 29th of May, 2015. The only achievement of the present government so far is the boko haram technical defeat. |
modath:you obviously do not understand the Hilary Clinton email hack which was purported to be done by the Russians (and the subsequent tension between Russia and USA) and you obviously do not understand that you have a right as a Nigerian to converse in private and anybody who wants to join in must seek your permission or obtain a court order. Let us not justify lawlessness just to show our support for politicians that do no care for our well being...that is assuming you are not one of the SAs on new media of the present government. |
In another story here on NL, the same military were quoted as saying the Chibok girls were used as a human shield, hence, the military did not use airstrikes. In this report they are showing us the airstrikes in pictures......hmmmm, Okay. |
Anybody that compared MMM with a commercial bank should ask for a refund from all schools attended. |
pls assist me with the report for JTDBR32E230033613. my email is slimikenna@gmail.com. Gracias. |
victorels:this above shows you don't know your right as a Nigerian. Police using maximum force on journalists is okay by you? Ignoramus. |
This question has been asked three times already without an answer. Please where can I check my car's history with the VIN online? I have tried without success on Google. |
There is nothing God cannot do. FAAN recruits are smiling now. |
Nice read, but two key factors must be considered; 1. the OP did not take into account the expected crude oil price on which the 2015 budget was based. 2. The said 2015 budget was passed around April. |
why do Nigerian criticise and complain about everything? A shoemaker is allowed to buy designer shoes too. |
If you are sure that; 1. you have nothing to hide. 2. The proceeds were from a clean and legal deal and 3. You provided the complete documentation for your account opening,BVN inclusive; Then get your lawyer to write the bank notifying them that you may sue them for withholding your funds including loss in revenue among others with a time line for them to release your funds. |
With pictures, insults, jokes, epistles and numerous posts MANY NIGERIANS have asked and yet no answer to the question....PMB, SO FAR, HOW FAR? ANY ACHIEVEMENT? WHERE ARE WE HEADING? STATUS OF ELECTIONEERING PROMISES? .....cos from where I am sitting, so far, it looks like the next four years will be tough. |
Its next to impossible for a muslim to rule Taraba State in a free and fair election, not to talk of it being a muslim woman! Its not an APC or PDP thing. Yes, the hatred runs deep both ways. Obviously the christians are more in number. I also heard from INEC adhoc staff that there was serious underaged voting by the APC (he had to accept at the treat to his life) still they have the mouth to complain. Let this election come and go joor, whoever wins! Its really affecting business. |
