Boss13: FFK is taking this matter personal. Though the woman appears incompetent with the way she speaks in public. If I were GEJ I would sack her not because of the air disaster but because she cannot manage public opinion.Until your father, mother or someone or yourself fall victim before your brain opens up? Sorry your brain will be dead then. Anyway, I am where I will never need to take any Nigerian plane so fire on! So far as your tribes woman is aviation minister, it doesn't matter if people die or not on her watch! Some Nigerians are the most stup.id people you will ever find when religion and tribe is concerned. So the life of the retardeen flying a fleet of 10 private jets is > 170 M Nigerians, most of whom take the local flights? Well, some of the supporters who are victims are partly responsible for the retardeen and no biggie if their life is cut short for their silly decisions! |
huptin: OIL DOES NOT CONTRIBUTE MORE THAN 80% PERCENT TO TOTAL REVENUE, IT ONLY CONTRIBUTES OVER 80% TO NIGERIA'S FOREIGN EXCHANGE EARNINGS. RECEIPTS FROM NON OIL SOURCES WAS MORE THAN OIL REVENUE IN THE YEAR 2012. PLEASE CONSULT GOOGLE FOR MORE INFO.LOL...see whopping! The same guy was in an argument about how the whole of Nigeria depends only on the oil in the ND and refuses to listen to any rational arguments. It doesn't matter if you add bold and italics to your capitalized posts (SHOUTING), he is programmed not to reason from basic facts since the retardeenic government propaganda and agenda has already gotten into him. Personally, I would like the ND to keep 50% and more but I want something bigger - complete fiscal federalism and control of the resources by the people. This is the only way to be free! All the oil money into a corrupt ND thieving elites and leaders will not stop them from migrating to the SW because no one likes to live in a hell hole! You get a bigger share of your oil money, we can also keep the proceeds from our natural resources, agricultural output, taxes and port revenue! The port is a natural resource, just like our lands and everything on it! This is the way to go. We will be more than happy to let the ND and ibos keep any natural resources they own but we will also keep ours, continually develop our lands and charge a premium in taxies and levies for anyone who is not from our regions too. You cannot collect your 50% or whatever over there and come to any part of the SW to leech and live on our resources for free or pittance! We will be adequately compensated and we can continue to make our lands attractive for people to live and visit! |
eddiebruk: Exactly, the N-Deltans have failed to realize that, they pretend as if they are not aware of those who are stealing the returns of oil from them all in the name of being their leaders, I am from Warri, but not in Nigeria although i should be back anytime soon, i have lived there since birth until 3years ago, so i know exactly how they deceive the youths to believe anything they say why the youths themselves act ignorantly like they don't know what is going on all in the name of God father-ismI guessed it - you have been exposed to a higher level of knowledge and thinking. I think like in most cases, you can see anything and analyze better when you are looking from outside into it. Most Nigerians who are in Nigeria, have never lived outside (not just visiting) cannot usually see it. Good one though! |
eddiebruk: SO can you tell me what N-Deltans or rather what the South do with the Agricultural Budget that is being given to them Annually..? if they dont have any use for the Budget, then they should reject it and suggest it being given to the North, this will help them in a far more better way than having hopes of returns coming to them from Oil.Your arguments on this topic has been very logical and measured. Are you in Nigeria? Do you live there? I see the logic in your arguments but do you know I will let the ND have not only 50% derivation in fact the whole of Nigeria back to comprehensive Federalism! Tomorrow if gold and diamond is discovered in the ND soil, you won't have to ask for anything because fiscal federalism, resource control, etc already solves the problem. I see your point though that putting 50% of all revenue in whatever billions into a corrupt system and leaders is like pouring all the rain in Nigeria into a basket, the result will be much the same the ND has gotten now. |
Ikengawo: so if you cook food in your house and eat 50% of it while giving your neighbors the other 50 you're selfish? That is a wrong analogy! Cooking food implies addition of value by labour and costs. The ND does not add ANY value to the oil so there is a big difference. One quick comment I will make is that asking for 50% derivation is rather shortsighted. This is an opportunity to ask to fiscal federalism, resource control, etc in a comprehensive federal restructuring not just trying to make a quick buck of 50% derivation. This is what we need in the SW, a chance to return to an unprecedented pace of progress like in the days of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Premier of the Western Region of Nigeria. That kind of atmosphere is what we need not a few extra naira when the useless central government still controls your life with incompetent police, collect taxes to be wasted, etc |
chucky234: Ibadan is certainly not a good idea, areas like Victoria Island,Ikoyi,Lekki and Ikeja in Lagos offers real city life settings with standard schools, hospitals and recreation centers for relaxation.Lynn, I can tell you for a FACT that Ibadan is A VERY GOOD LOCATION. My parents have two houses in Ibadan, I schooled in Ibadan and it was the central place for the family as my father worked with the Federal Government and be was transferred around a bit. Ibadan is everything Lagos has but more quiet, less people, cheaper and very friendly. You have lots of places to choose from in terms of accomodation. Oluyole Estate / Ring road, Bodija, Ashi, Jericho, Basorun and new estates toward the rail line (I forget the name now). A bakery business needs customers period and all the good bakeries are usually sold out! I know because the last time I went to Nigeria in December 2012, we would drive to Ring Road to buy bread from Zaartech bakery, one of the better bakeries in Ibadan. There are lots of good schools and I attended the International School, Ibadan on of the best schools in Nigeria then. Today, there must be dozens of more schools like that and with similar orientations. I hear the current government is fixing up many parts of the state and I did witness significant progress when I visited. You have big markets to shop for local produce, departmental store chains, security is much better than virtually all parts outside the SW of Nigeria and maybe better than Lagos with a much larger population. If you needed to fly out, Lagos airport is a out 1.5 hrs away except you run into heavy traffic which is not news if you have lived in big cities and states with bursting populations like California, New York, Toronto, etc. In terms of overall cost, Ibadan comes out tops compared to Lagos and Abuja. If you have a lot of money to invest and spend, Lagos and Abuja could be good choices too and you can charge more for your products because generally, there is more money in those states and more people than Ibadan. |
Godwinsilas: Nice moove, but i think it's time for him to create a platform for the talente ones at then support them finacially.Support them in his personal capacity or as a governor? As a person, that is his personal decision but otherwise, you know that he cannot open a company for them in the name of the Lagos state government. A private company and public company are two different things. All he can do is to provide a conducive business environment, continually invest in education, scholarship, infrastructure, etc. It is your job and that of people like you to find a business need in the state and START A BUSINESS! Funny thing is that Nigerians do not ask their retardeen president to support, only when it comes to Governor Fashola and his co-progressive governors. How about the funding from YOU WIN and SURE-P? I hear inspite of the FG billions, unemployment rate has climbed from the 20%s to over 30%?? Keep deceiving yourselves! Retardeen GEJ doesn't give a damn and will eat N 1 B food with is obese wife anyway, na una go lose! |
chima12: Seems you are not a mentally strong and mature fellow, getting worked up over issues as minor as e-rantings by anonymous characters whose true identity and tribe is unverifiable online.do you live in cyberspace?looks like yoruba citizen has done a good job on you.Why must you ibos always blame Yoruba for everything? Are you that insecure and always suffering from inferiority complex?? Na wah o |
Well if Nigeria breaks, no problem every one who wants to biafran will have to physically pack his bags and go to the ibo states of Imo, Abia, Ebonyi, Ananmbra or Enugu. No need for Rivers (SS or ND) people to worry about a damn thing! You get your land back, free for other more useful purposes. This is a good thing really so every country can use their resources to develop. Again, there is no need to fight ibos who say ibos are in Rivers because they are also in the SW and North just like any other Nigerian. The thing is they MUST leave back to their country and carry every of their possession (no abandoned property issue) including their houses. They will have to leave the land though - the land will only be for the native people of Rivers State!! |
lygn19: Re these northerners dz stupid or they re just Ignorant,,,when Nigeria was one u ppl have not been able to harness ur agriculture, is it when Nigeria is no more...lol look at d ppl calling Igboland,landlock...lol...do u think Igbo land ends in d south east...lol''' I don't blame u ppl sha, dz is what d Mohammed's and D Buhari's tell u ppl when they have kept billions for there children in case Nigeria breaks 2moro,,, I don't need a soothsayer to tell me that the north loves one Nigeria the most, and I don't Need a scientist to tell me that the North wud suffer at d disintegration of Nigeria. Full stopYou must be a little kid to not know anything about the major tribes of Nigeria! A little history: present day Nigeria have 2 majority tribes who built major empires and kingdoms! The ibo never lived or knew what a cit-state, kingdom or empire is. If not for the colonialist, the Yoruba Oyo Empire would have grown eastwards after conquering everything to its west to gobble up every people in the East (ibos) while the north was seeking to expand down to eat whatever little things were left at the other side of the Niger to their south! My point? If any part of Nigeria had a problem of landlock, it will not be the Hausas / Fulani northerners! Why? Because they are masters of negotiation and I have no doubt that their diplomatic skills is sure to make that issue a non-issue, the same can never be said of the ibos. Second, the north is sure to produce almost all the food they need! They have land, they have farmers and are usually not greedy like ibos who want anything at any cost even if they have to over-reach themselves. That will help them for sure. Plus, their population will still be an advantage as they can leverage their economies of scale in a lot of aspects. These are things that the SE do not have. The biggest disadvantage for the SE is the bad feelings and non good will they are creating in the minds of current Nigeria. The SS will NOT go with Ibos, they made that clear in 1967. Why will they leave a more balanced Nigeria to exchange it for a unitary slave master in ibos who they rejected before? They would rather go by themselves. In any case, the point remains that if Nigeria breaks up, SE will be landlocked and they can forget that any northerner or south westerner or ND or MB will be leaving their own business people to come and trade and buy from ibo traders. For sure you can trade among yourselves but nothing will be allowed to come in from the ports of other people to ibo land, and not food either. You can fly out of your country by tunneling out through the ground or teleport but the air space of your new neighbors countries will not allow free access either. The tunneling will also only work until we block any vermins from burrowing through our precious soils! Just kidding though! But seriously, you people need to face facts, this is the 21 st century! |
Says ONLYLIES, who sits his black ass in obodo oyibo giving lectures! "Do as I say not as I do", why not come back to Nigeria so you can practice what you preach? I see, you are enjoying the fruit of the labor of people like me who let your sorry ass into this country while preaching useless things that will cause the destruction of your people in Nigeria? You preach to them to only eat Abakaliki or ofada rice but here you have uncle Ben's, Thai, Chinese, India, Cambodia, American, plus all their condiments in all their glory? What a fake thing! |
These people keep RUINING the name of NIGERIA everywhere! They will do anything FOR MONEY! The fo.ol was saying black on black, what the hell does that mean? Must he drag every black man into his accursed life? Until Nigeria has a STRONG leadership that PRESCRIBES and EXECUTES the death penalty with complete sale and destruction of EVERY ASSET gotten by illegal means such as 419, drug smuggling, kidnapping, ritualism, armed robbery, fake businesses, etc; Nigeria will have no hope and eradicating the criminals and perception it has created in the minds of almost everyone in the world. |
Gbawe, you should learn to ignore losers like insince9jerian since you have first hand knowledge of his imbecility and unequaled hatred for anything progressive about the Yorubas, SW, etc. It is this same cretin that defends the retardeen who doesn't give a damn about ASUU being on strike and the so called leaders of tomorrow staying at home and unproductive while eating N 1 B food per annum alone! Add to that almost N 1 Tr for security alone while the same 18 - 22+ year olds who have been grounded will turn to superior criminals after languishing in frustration while political jobbers like this loonie gets rich on the Nigerian pie and the blood of ignorant Nigerians. While I do not support any corruption by any public officer, it is the same retardeen GEJ who was about to be bagged by the same EFCC as deputy governor and his wife was helping him to steal $ 12 M, his wife has no legitimate job that can fetch even N 12 M, so it is the stolen wealth of Bayelsans. Retardeen GEJ does not give a damn about publicly declaring his assets and has completely killed the EFCC who should be out doing their job which they did really well during OBJ's tenure. A fool like non-sincere9gerian should be crying to his master and lord in Aso Rock to let the EFCC do their job, but hell will freeze over before that happens! Just ignore him. You know their neck of the woods is still so backwards and it just hurts and stings them to see the SW making progress while they stagnate! |
The SE LOVES one Nigeria the most! They realized they could never be up to par without other parts of Nigeria and being in leadership Ironsi abolished Nigerias regional governments thinking he and his ibos will dictate the terms until he realized that would NEVER happen! If ibos claim to hate one Nigeria now, it is because their plan failed! That is not coming to equity with clean hands. Till today, Ibos benefit the most from Nigeria because their only resource is their population which if every part of Nigeria rejected, plus boycott every ibo business guess what will happen? They will cry genocide and marginalization. So they benefit the most from Nigeria. The breakup cries are from ibos who have not thought about what they will eat and where they will go after breakup. The other parts of Nigeria that are NOT good enough for ibos before breakup will refuse to be available or accessible after breakup. Now who will lose the most?? You will be landlocked and for all their trading, they will be the only people buying from their ibos....imagine how much they will suffer? We will rather export out foods to other countries than sell to Iboland, even if they would pay a premium! They better be ready to grow all their food becaus not even a grain of rice or beans or tomato will be allowed to be imported through any border, not for all the dollars in the world. |
realbomax: @op. i also studied engrg course but i think d point is engrg graduates are nt d worst hit but d stress engrg graduates undergoes right frm admisn process stage till graduatn stage in schl is nt adequately compensated for in a country lik nigeria. i now clearly see dt nigeria is nt ready for technological advancement and because of dt i cant advise my jnr ones to waste their time on in in naija at least for now because most pple who only get field engrg job here are very connected.Nigeria is not ready for engineering and technological advancement? When will it be ready if not now? Is it until we over here invent computers and machines that do virtually everything and then you can tear your engineering certificate, because it will no longer be needed! Well the problem is you people are too foo.lish electing the most useless leaders who don't give a damn, there are people on NL defending such leaders till today including maybe you and you see nothing wrong with that? 30% unemployment rate, ASUU on strike for 3 months and counting, and you still don't see where the problem lies? I personally want most of the stu.pid Nigerians who defend incompetence to suffer! I wish the right thinking, smart and progressive ones don't share in your suffering but there is no way! I thank God that I am not in that country and only visit when I like. Someone is eating 1 B food per year and ordinary people cannot earn 200 K per annum with peace of mind! Imagine me, when I retire at 60 - 65, I will never need to worry about any pensions plus of course I will still have my own business and consulting. Nigerians should enjoy their fresh air and shut up! |
This will never be a problem with a Yoruba boy! You need to port come this side! In fact, all the girls in Nigeria should port to the West side! ![]() |
pro01: I am proud to be a 'bigot' by your definition. I didn't become that until I began to see the level of hate and xenophobia demonstrated against the Igbo by you Yoruba people in Lagos, including those of you that are supposedly intelligent and well educated in this forum. There is only so much a man can take. ACN's LASG deports Nigerians illegally from Lagos to Onitsha, and you 'educated' bigots openly support that! Yet you expect us to love and accept you with open arms? At the slightest provocation, you 'educated' people make highly offensive xenophobic remarks like 'go back to your village', and yet you talk about bigots when one stands up to defend his proud ethnic heritage and his rights as a Nigerian? And why are you afraid or offended when told to go back to your village? How is that xenophobia? Look, you can elect a tuber of yam as governor for all I care but YOU WILL STILL HAVE TO GO BACK TO YOUR VILLAGE ONE DAY! We refuse to share even an atom of our lands and heritage with YOU! |
Chino72: I don't know why these yerobass are more interested in us at this time. All they want is how they will put their tinibu stooge. Lemme tell them now, there is no way ofemmmmanu party is having any foot hold on our soil.Shut that stinking gutter you call mouth and go and find job to increase your IGR from a measly 450 M per month! You see Yorubas in everything, insecure loser! |
Nnena BTW, I am not in the hell hole you mentioned but it seems Nigeria are now enjoying the fresh air and disagree in your appellation of a derogatory descriptive to their current situation! It is night here and time for bed, now why are you still up?? |
I know you are only typing all this to score an ethnic political point. I'm not going to detail the precedents Soludo undeniably set in the Banking industry or discuss the SE's comparative advantage compared to the rest of Nigeria. All I am going to do is let you have the last word (I know you will respond with a comeback) and bask in that Euphoric "high" of feeling that you have won over the "funny Ibos." It's morning in Nigeria already. After your "high" it will be back to harsh realities of living another day in a hell hole. Good luck and God speed.
Nne, I am sure that the person I was responding to knows that he was wrong, whether he accepts it or not is not my cup of tea. In case you are not familiar with these issues, take a chill pill and read some of the old posts. There are lots of people on nL who can easily confirm that onlytruth (lies) has been wrong on almost every major issue because anyone who talks or decides based on emotions and not facts and reality will be wrong! This is my point and what I said about Soludo is right: most of his super capitalized banks are dead Oceanic, Intercontinental, etc and in case you don't know the bank polymer case allegations involving the EFCC is real. I can understand you like Soludo but NEVER speak for any politican 100% as though you will control his every actions or know what he will do. That is one recipe not to end up eating you words all the time like the onlyljes! |
Speaking as someone with roots in Anambra North...I don't know what to say about Peter Obi's self centered reasons for dimming the future of Anambra state. All I can say is that their eyes will open if Obiano is voted in and the suffering continues as usual. My thinking is that someone from Aso Rock (Goodluck Jonathan?) uprooted Soludo because they know the sort of precedent he would have set in Anambra as a governor. I mean no other governor or governor aspirant in all of Nigeria -ALL OF NIGERIA -has the potential that Soludo would have used. It was a sad day for Anambra and for Nigeria at large when he was disqualified. Are we Igbos really the cause of our problems? Sigh.
Funny ibos again! What will Soludo achieve that has not been done 1000000000000000X by people who are not economists? The least state in SW is doing better than Anambra, check IGR for example. By praising something that never was, you set up yourself for a major disappointment like you are doing now for Soludo. What was Soludos record at the CBN? Didn't most of the fake over capitalized bank not die within months of being relieved of his CBN job? How about the 700 M polymer bank note scandal with the Australian firm? Soludo only lost a chance to get richer while giving speeches all over the place. LMAO! |
Onlytruth: Nwanne ano m ya. It is only that my heart has been fainting lately since Peter Obi disqualified Soludo and is scheming to impose his stooge on us in Anambra state. This fella never kick the bucket yet?? LWKMD! Oh am I glad to see you eating all you words till date! No be so? Obi, you are now eating you words! APGA, you are eating your vomit. Same thing for Soludo, ibo nationalism, LMAO while the people you've been hating all your life are just getting better and better! This is al within 4 years remember? How about Ebelechukwu retardeen joncelock? Unemployment rate has climbed into the 30% according to the governments own NBS before you go to blame Chief Awolowo, Tinubu, Fashola and co! LMAO. You sit there in obodo oyibo laying banana peels for your folks who have no idea you are not going to partake in the hardship your ilk lay down for them by canvassing uttermostly stu.pid points of view. Where is my popcorn so I can laugh at your crocodile tears! I pray that Obiano or Ubah wins so he can completely ruin that state! Whether it is Fidelity or Capital Oil, it doesn't matter! Anything to create so much debt there will not be enough zeros to add at the back of the leading $ 90000000000000000..... |
How about the SURE-P and YOUWIN? LMAO! Una go suffer tire there while Joandaft keeps cornering all the money and watch you people get blown up by BH, kidnapped, stay at home because of ASUU, wasting away the most useful times of your lives unemployed and he eat 1 B food with his morbidly obese wife! LWKMD! ![]() |
mikeansy: this is just ridiculous! when I see these mis-steps I question Ngige's capacity to govern. But we all know that Ibos don't have kings or when did you start? Yes, he is the obi but not a crown bearing king or you care to expatiate? Ibo nweze! ?? |
gtrust: The Tradition has been there for more than 1000 years.Which 1000 years? LWKMD? Show me any PROOF that there was anything recorded as "Ibo" and written down for at least 500 years, not to mention the ofala of a thing! I am waiting! You people won't stop trying to re-write history! |
Can you imagine how Biafra would have looked like .
Can you imagine what the dead man will look like now? That is the answer to your question! If with free N 20 B per month, you people have not done anything, how will N 1 B be enough for you to steal in a dead country? At best Somalia and Sudan will still be better than your non-existent utopia! |
DIVINE78: I did mine in Ogidi. Sentiment trumps common sense in Igboland.Tell them o! I can tell EVERYONE that Onitsha is the WORST PLACE IN NIGERIA! Criminals everywhere! Gunshots in broad daylight! All these agberos, bikemen and traders pulling your shirt from the ROAD! Goodness gracious...very fnking dirty place, fit only for pigs and piglets! As soon as I realized this, I did find every opportunity to avoid Onitsha and if you are going to the east and your bus gets to Onitsha after 6:30 pm to 7 pm, the best you can do is begin to pray to God and blame yourself for not passing through that hell pit in God's normal daylight! Your chances of survival till the next morning just reduced by 90%...where you wan go? Hotel? You might end up robbed, killed, kidnapped or worse eaten! The worst is when you are made to permanently disappear without any trace! ![]() |
