GOTVee:Your post lacks cohesion, direction and tact. It comes from a compromised and misguided heart full of bias and hatred for Peter Obi and Obedients. I know you are not born again. You are not in any position to speak for christians; your foolish, myopic and paid-for- opinion is personal to you. I am a Christian and your opinion is entirely contrary to mine and to that of christians I know. This election is not about religion, it is about getting competent and masses-oriented leadership that will change the retrogressive narrative in this country. TO HELL WITH YOUR FAKE AND DECEPTIVE CHRISTIAN POSTURING. WE NEED YOUR CORRUPT TYPE OUT OF THE WAY FOR THIS COUNTRY TO MAKE PROGRESS. |
jeromestarks:You should even thank God, the POS operator tried. Where I am, you pay #2000 to withdraw #20K. Frankly speaking, the FG is not the only reason why this country is failing. Our greed, wickedness and the mentality of " I-don't-care-what-happens-to-others-so-far-I-make-money" has destroyed this country. You can't give what you don't have. The Governments we have is a product of who we are; the people that constitute the govt and various authorities are from among us. The level of greed, self-centeredness, and insensitivity to other people's plight is alarmingly high in this country and that is the reason for our failures. Having a saintly president cannot change this country, this nation can only get better if we all decide to change. Why will one filling station be selling fuel at #300/ liter and another at #450/liter when both of them are in the same town and even located close to each other. |
garfield1:I wonder why someone will want Buhari to campaign for him. A president that is running the worst govt in the history of Nigeria; a govt that has done the complete opposite of all it promised. A president that has almost rendered Nigeria unhabitable. I wonder what Buhari will say that will convince anybody to vote for Tinubu. Tinubu on the other hand is a very bad market. You need to be fake and out of your mind to market Tinubu. |
When are we going to mature enough in this country to put national interest above tribal, ethnic, regional and religious interest? When are we going to focus on the qualities, character and competence of individuals? When will the northern elites allow us to have competent and quality leadership in this country? Even with the failing state of this country, these people are only interested in the president coming from the North even if it is Atiku. With this type of stereotypy and myopic perspective, I strongly doubt if this country will ever get better. I WEEP FOR MY COUNTRY. I FEAR FOR THE TOMORROW OF THIS NATION. |
Britishpea:I beg to differ. PDP is not in power. PDP is a party and not a government. They have no power over blocks and licences. They had it when in power but now they have no right over blocks and licences. APC is the govt we know and they should be held accountable and answerable to our problems. |
GeneralPula:I wonder what compromise has done to your brain. Buhari is our President and also Minister of Petroleum and he has nothing to do with the fuel scarcity? We should not blame him but PDP that left power 8years ago? Please wake up from your slumber and face reality. |
The fact that his manhood was erect while already unconscious or dead is almost 100% evidence that he took drug-enhancing drug. He most likely had cardiac arrest from adverse cardiovascular effect of the drugs. The magun dimension is just mere superstition. |
Eriokanmi:Point of correction: it started with Firstbank in September. And all banks will soon join. Buying cheaply from AliExpress, Banggood, Amazon etc is now gone. This Govt have sworn to deny us of anything good. To open and maintain dollar account is not easy; it is not for the poor and average Nigerians |
senteugene:They are church-goers but I don't know if they are christians. |
All I can say is we all have one vote each. The G5 can choose who they want to support but they are just individuals. I am from a state and whoever I will vote for will not in any way be influenced by my governor or any alliances. My fellow Nigerians, do not be influenced by the activities and alliances of these politicians that have destroyed the very substance of this country. Also, do not be influenced by the activities of their paid URCHINS here in Nairaland and other social media platforms. Vote conscientiously and wisely. As you vote, let patriotism and hope for a better Nigeria be your guide. |
Some Nigerians like "Legendhero" and "BATified" really need psychiatric evaluation. Maybe they are motivated by Tinubu's drug money. I can't imagine how a reasonable human being will be deliberately inviting calamity to his life and that of his generation. How will a "normal" human being be supporting BAT to become the president of this country that has already failed to a large extent. Tinubu has shown beyond any reasonable doubt that he has progressive and irreversible decline in cognitive function. Is that the type of president we need at this point in Nigeria. A man that is relatively brain dead? How can anybody who cares about this country want the present BAT as our president? It really beats my imagination. I am non-partisan and have nothing against Tinubu personally. But as someone that cares about Nigeria, Tinubu as president will have a disastrous and calamitous effect on this country. I WEEP FOR MY COUNTRY. WHAT TYPE OF HUMAN BEINGS DO WE HAVE IN THIS COUNTRY? |
Stupid, senseless post. So biased and compromised. I wonder how sponsored posts like this make it to front page on nairaland. |
johnstar:Very good if they were poisoned( if they are truly yahoo boys). The person that poisoned them needs to be rewarded. |
Serves them right if they are truly yahoo boys. Well deserved whether it is by poisoning or drug overdose. The curse of the people they have scammed have caught up with them. May they wroth in the bottom of hellfire. And may all hackers and scammers suffer worse fate. As you reap what others have sow, may you all be ripped to pieces and may your souls be tormented in the hottest part of hellfire. |
Itohanmiwa:You are definitely a nonchalant and retrogressive blockhead like the agent of backwardness Buhari. |
It is quiet unfortunate that the only interest of Northerners is to ensure that power remains in the North irrespective of the consequences. They don't care about credibility and competence. I know APC has failed woefully but their defection is not about APC. If APC has a northern presidential candidate, would they have defected? With the attitude of the north, it is almost impossible to get credible and competent leaders in this country. The north will not allow this country to progress. I love and believe in one Nigeria but the bitter truth is that this country will have to break up for progress to be achieved. Frankly speaking, the North has produced more presidents in this country. Where has that led us? What impact have these leaders made on the outlook of the North? We have to look for a way to get this union dissolved. It is almost a hopeless situation. |
So Tinubu feels Lagos belongs to him or that he created/ made Lagos? No wonder he is scooping all the goodies coming to Lagos. If we allow him to become our president, he will begin to see himself as the owner of Nigeria and his thievery will now become national. Electing Tinubu as president will be a very terrible mistake, worse than that of Buhari. |
Holluwhakemmy:You don't need dollar card to buy on Jumia. |
WibusJaga:This is the major problem of Nigeria: not having strong deterrents against corruption and criminality. This country will continue to stagnate and retrogress until we make up our minds to see corruption as a crime worse than murder. In a saner clime, all the people involved in this should get a death sentence or life imprisonment. But in Nigeria, this matter will soon be swept under the carpet. I WEEP FOR MY BELOVED CRY. WHEN WILL ENOUGH BE ENOUGH IN THIS COUNTRY. THIS IS REALLY PAINFUL |
Buhari too is a suspect. He was once appointed by Boko Haram to speak/negotiate on their behalf. It is only in Nigeria that people with strong link to terrorists walk free and even occupy big political offices. Why is Gumi free! Why is Shettima a VP candidate? Why is Buhari who was once appointed by terrorists to speak for them our president? Why did it take too long to arrest this Tukur? To say the truth frankly, the northern elites are the brains behind terrorism in Nigeria. The greatest harm Britain caused to us is the almagamation. That is one of the greatest mistakes and calamity in history. |
Thank you Sir. You are 100% correct. This has been my opinion. Buhari just wanted to be president without any clear plan. And to make matters worse, he just appointed his relatives, friends, fulanis and his supporters to positions regardless of competence and qualification. That is where the failure of this govt started from. APC played on the frustrations of Nigerians and came with unbelievable and mind-boggling manifesto. I knew personally that APC was up to no good but Northerners mainly decided to play ethnic and religious politics. They brought this calamity on us. It is good that they are suffering more from the incompetence and astronomical failure of this completely inept and clueless govt. |
At this rate, terrorists and bandits will soon become richer than Nigeria. This is terrible. This is what Buhari and APC have brought us because they covet political power. |
Buhari and his FG are very much willing to give because they are giving to their recruits and fellow terrorists. All na the same. |
The terrorists and bandits cannot be defeated because they are Buhari's armies. Buhari and APC brought them to help them win 2015 election. My questions: 1. How do these Buhari mauraders get their high-caliber weapons. 2. Why did FG refuse to publish the names of terrorism financiers? 3. Why is Buhari and the Nigerian army always protecting these terrorists and bandits. 4. Why is it that in Nigeria, only Fulanis are allowed to carry weapons and dangerous high-caliber weapons at that? Buhari have traded the destiny of this country for his political, self-serving ambition. He has conquered Nigeria for his Fulani tribe. |
FreeStuffsNG:Keep typing rubbish until you understand that Buhari is a demon sent to devastate this country. A curse placed on this nation. Buhari is everything a president shouldn't be. A colossal example of failure, cluelessness and callousness. |
anonymous1759:This your post is so irritating. Nigeria is poor, Nigerians are dying of hunger. Our students are at home because of ASUU strike. We are not in a position to give aid to any country. And even if we can, why always Niger republic? Because Buhari's cousins are there. Buhari has opened the borders for his murderous Fulani cousins to occupy this country and that is the reason for the rise in Fulani banditry and terrorism. And he did the aid without recourse to the National Assembly. Please stop supporting rubbish. |
Omoluabi16:The North is the problem. They keep voting based on ethnic and religious sentiments rather than competence. The North is the reason why it will be difficult to get good leadership in this country. The North is responsible for this calamity Buhari have brought us. This country may remain stagnant or perish if Northerners refuse to change their ways. |
Kei144:You are insensitive, inconsiderate and shallow- minded. Have you bothered to find out how much lecturers are paid? If Nigeria is poor, what have our political leaders including senators done to reduce the cost of governance? They are human beings like every Nigerian, why do they deserve to live in luxury while others suffer on peanut salary. FG IS AT FAULT FOR THE STRIKES. |
NigerianAngelo:It is easy to blame them because you are not involved in their pains. I have twice turned down lecturing job because of the very poor salary. Do you know how much Nigerian lecturers are paid? Entry point is just above #100,000. It has been like this for many years. What do you do with that with the astronomical rise of cost of living in this country? If Nigeria is too poor to pay lecturers well, why then do our political leaders earn and live in luxury as if we are the richest country in the world? Why should a senator earn over #25 million per month while a professor earns less than #500,000 per month. A medical consultant earns less than #700,000 per month while a senator with SSCE earns tens of millions. Why should our govt refuse to standardize our higher institutions but send their children to standard schools outside the country? Why can't our Govt upgrade our hospitals but run overseas to be treated in hospitals with Nigerian doctors. This are the roots of the crisis in the education and health sector and other sectors. Our Govt is the problem. Our political leaders should see themselves as servant leaders and not as people who should use our collective resources to live in luxury while they pay peanuts to civil servants among whom are seasoned and skilled professionals. |
Just throw this news into the dustbin. This group is unknown and they do not in any way represent southeastern youths. What is their membership strength? At best, they are misguided members of APC that the drug lord and bullion van specialist has dropped some money for in their accounts. |
Augustenite:You are wrong. We don't have beef with Tinubu being a Yoruba man. Our beef is that Tinubu lacks integrity. He is dubious, crafty and a drug lord. He is a criminal. We can't have him as our president. |
Hotfreezer:You can vote for him because you are a thief like him. We that believe that a man with integrity and honesty should be our next president will never vote for a drug lord and thief like Tinubu. I will rather set my PVC on fire than use it to vote for a man whose source of wealth is very questionable. |
Even though I'm a born again Christian, I will not deceive myself like my fellow Christians rooting for Peter Obi because every sane Christian knows he can never win. Those rejoicing over this naira redesign policy are doing so because they expect a protest vote against the ruling party which in their delusion will favor Obi . The naira redesign policy is a senseless one meant to scuttle the peace atmosphere we have in the country. We patriotic Nigerian Christians reject the wicked policy. And to those dumb Obidients rejoicing over this, "Heaven wan fall no be on top one man head". Peter Obi's chances at the polls is just like the chances of a gambler who played correct scores. It will surely end in pains. We Nigerians Christians reject the candidacy of Peter Obi.
