We all know this news is tribalistic in nature and only aim to 'balance' criminal tag.
Every tribe has criminals both home and abroad , that's a fact. The news that came from FBI was unfortunate but the attempt by Nigerians to even cook up more crime story trying to smear the other tribe is even more unfortunate because you are only doing more damage to the country's image by such fake news

There are yahoo guys in almost all universities in Nigeria especially the south west universities, we all condemn them and I support the EFCC clamp down on them(though sometimes they disturb the wrong people) so keys also support this FBI clamp down and condemn the bad wagons not been unnecessarily defensive #mystand

Though there's the element of criminality no doubt, but if these guys (that's those of them in the US, b'cos i understand some of them were operating from Nigeria) were given a good educational foundation back home and did not grow up experiencing social dislocation as is presently the case in Nigeria, as well as having good job prospects after schooling......if the aforementioned had been the case, then i doubt we would be discussing this issue today!
